Aww, and I was all set to delve into unhealthy relationships, exploitation of people with mental disorders, deconstruction of common character traits by giving characters with said traits nuclear ICBMS, and other such things that aren't all connected together like what I just listed.

Surely someone has SOMETHING to post.

I would, but the GM seems to have deserted us (not to mention half the other players), and that doesn't give me high hopes about the life expectancy of this RP.

I can, however, suggest you join this RP so it doesn't die.

Shameless advertising complete.
@Willy Vereb

I figured as much; since I was going to do it in my next post I just wanted to be sure.

I plan to escalate with the following orders of events:

1) Hundreds of thousands of additional soldiers sent (happening right now)

2) Crackdown on terrorism and native uprisings that is already beginning. Really bad human rights violations which the PRK insurgents or any Yllendthyr spies could easily see, document, and share with the rest of the world.

3) Tin closing that strait and enacting the embargos on the north, likely going to be a direct result of this meeting.

4) Waves of refugees fleeing to the Yllendthyr side, followed by Tin moving a large force to the borders to stop them.

5) Tin denies any accusations of human rights violations and such from other nations, and once again accuses Yllendthyr of terrorism but this time to the entire world. In addition, they claim that their military presence on the borders is because Yllendthyr is so awful that hordes of refugees are fleeing to the Tinite side of the island, and Tin doesn't yet have the resources over there to "save" them.

6) Tin formally severs all foreign ties to Yllendthyr in a spectacular fashion, as we briefly discussed in our PMs.

7) ???

8) Tin begins to occupy some of the smaller uninhabited or barely populated islands that Yllendthyr claims. (These are too small to be on the map; I'm taking the liberty of assuming that there are tons of little keys and atolls with 0-250 people on them)

9) ???

10) If Yllendthyr hasn't attacked yet, Tin will.

I'm open to any suggestions for additional stuff but that's my plan. The question marks are places where Tin's response depends largely on how the world reacts.

11. PRK invades, you guys lose, the People's Republic of Zanjir is made a satellite state liberated from imperialist oppression.

I would try some interaction with Voltus, but I honestly don't have any ideas about how that would work or what even we would talk about. We're very different nations.

I could do some more stuff in Zanjir, yes. Hmm... I will have to think on that. Expect a post relating to that and with some more glimpses of life inside Kataylabinsk to fill up the remaining space either today or tomorrow. I'm well and truly invested in the world we've created here, and I would like to continue it.

Also, we should open up to new players. Like, really. Sell off the remaining space and threaten people who haven't posted in a very long time (@Murtox, @Raijinslayer) with their stuff being taken as well. We need some tough love or this RP is going to stagnate and die. Alfhedil and hivekiller exempted, they are actually genuinely away and haven't said anything on the forum for a month.

Also, Willy, you haven't responded to @thegreenleafe yet. You could do that in a very short post.

And Ventium will establish The World Congress in response to rapidly increasing tensions in the geopolitical landscape of Osetia.

I vote it be called the World Assembly. Congress sounds too much like it has real power.
Still waiting on Skepic and/or Willy and/or Raijinslayer. I'd positively love to post, but that's a roadblock right there.

Hey, Voltus, want to do some interaction?

If this would done in a large enough area, could one make a reservoir?

I feel like that's a bit impractical considering most players have ~200 people and there would be an incredibly massive amount of work involved.
The Cindorayi Republic, Population: 199, Year 28 IL, Age of the Quarter Moon

"What if picked leader weak or dumb or not glorious!?", Hof exclaims, pointing at the Cindorayi that are being used to show the voting process and then acts out the opposite of the traits used to describe Dud.

@Elitestpotato

"Then Cindorayi are not smart for picking them." Ekatyrina smiled. "If most of Cindorayi pick leader, she must be strong, smart and glorious, or otherwise they would not pick her." "Fighting over leadership," she said, gesturing to the others, "weakens tribes. If we pick and do not fight, we remain strong."

Sonya whispered in her ear, and her eyes widened. She nodded, and said. "Sonya suggests that you follow us for the Luna Celebration. It is to start tonight, in the main city. There will be much food, singing, dance, and music. You can then return to your people and then tell them what you have learned."

The Kingdom of the Cindorayi, Population: 156, Year: 77

Rajah sat thoughtfully for a moment before continuing. He was seated upon his stone chair, placed inside a tent made from some kind of woven fabric, as his guards stood to either side of the prisoner restrained with rope on the floor.

"Since the dawn of time, the Cindorayi have been ruled by the Perumal imperial line, of which I am the seventeenth. Your ancestors broke with us, and scattered from the fallen star to create your own societies. I have every intention of rectifying that mistake. Before long, the so-called 'republic' you claim to belong to will be crushed under the tracks of this kingdom, and we will finally aspire to our true goal: that of empire."

Kseniya shifted in her rope bindings. She was cut and bruised from the king's guards, who punished her every outburst and insult. She was of a strong will, however, and continued to resist.

"I have never heard of such a thing," she spat. "And now I see why my ancestors left to the west, with such a cruel man claiming to be their overlord. Luna will bring another crystal star to destroy you and return justice."

"Crystal, you say?" Rajah laughed. "My dear, you have provided me with all the information I need to know." He gestured to his guards, and they tightened the noose around her neck. He watched stoically as she choked and struggled, and when she finally expired he rose.

"Bring the warriors. It is time to reclaim the crystal."

As the guards rushed out, Rajah strode to a nearby stone pedestal, the only other thing of note in the tent, upon which rested a strange shaped metallic object, which bore in it a diamond-shaped hole, as if something was meant to go there. He passed his fingers over it and smiled.

Like Israel basically. The coast is pretty fertile and this is where the vast majority of Arsuron live. Its very rough, rocky, many cliffs and bluffs. There's lots of grasslands, some small wooded areas in the mountains and cliffs with thin ceder forests. As you go further west it gets more dry, like a savannah with lots of tall grasses an fewer trees. Then its just pure desert until the mountains.

I'm basically in western Russia. Cold-ish, with trees upon trees upon trees, extending into Ukrainian-like plains in the east and a small patch in the west.

@orangebox and @mathionx, if I don't see any posting from you guys (or an explanation for your absence) I'm going to have to remove you from the player list.
The relevant species have been added to the list, with some parts shortened for conciseness.
Thanks, Neruu.

Apologies on not noticing you mentioning them, Father Dagon. They're fine, as I said before you don't have to wait for approval from me unless they are huge or have strange abilities. Will add them and the Ogurks and Jeks tonight.
So, is there any chance we can get @Neruu's Ogurks and the Northern version of them, the Jeks added to the list of wildlife?

If I can get a description, sure. I haven't been told anything about them, just that they exist.
I'm thinking about posting. Thinking very, very hard.
