Eh, maybe I'm just nostalgic for the old RP with more republics. Still, half those things you mentioned there are one of and half the other nations are autocratic empires. If that's the way it's going to be though I can't do much more than complain (but I'll leave it rest).

And indeed as people post the flavor will develop.

Nothing wrong with you or your nation (your claim looks fine btw), but the world's feeling awfully bland at the moment.

Btw Willy I'm not sure if that's directed at me but reading up on them makes me inclined to say that's fine.

@MihndarSpeaking of your symbol. Since it has the imperial two-headed eagle with the hammer and sickle does it mean you aren't against Imperialism in general?
Alternativel since it symbolizes the union between the Church and the State does it translate as you aren't the least bit secular?
Although it could be also explained with that the eagle is your national symbol and nobody really protested against you continuing to use it.
You may also invent different symbolism for the two heads.

That's the same explanation I used in the last RP (it just being used as a national symbol). Also a level of respect for the past that was not present in the USSR since they wanted a total break with the Russian Empire. However the argument could be made that it is a leftover from imperialism and I do expect to have a controversy over that at some point.

Sure it would be more fun, but from the perspective of the PRK the important thing at the moment is strategic interests. The revolution has to survive before it can enforce its ideas on everyone. So Ekaterina's tactic is to make concessions in the hope of appearing a little less radical.

I'm also looking at this from the perspective of the fact that there was no French Revolution in this universe, no massive spread of the ideas of liberalism and nationalism (yet). So naturally any communist movement that appears in this context is going to be less radical in comparison to one in which the ideas of democracy and secularism are already well enshrined.

I was one in the old RP, so I'd be up for it again.

I'd like to point out that while Premier Ekaterina is certainly an athiesr, the PRK is not an officially athiest state. It is an officially secular state and freedom of religion is permitted, and the citizens of the PRK practice a variety of faiths without persecution. A couple people have them labeled as athiest which is only partly true.

What this means: The PRK would prefer a regime change at least towards the more left-wing parties, but as it stands Zenovia is a prime candidate for potential low-level diplomacy due to its shared proximity to Moravia and its relatively progressive politics.

@Wernher The latest one done by Iso is the official map, second was more of a what-if scenario(If the rp was to be closed off, which the GM made sure to note that it will not be closed).

I would first first say that my map was not intended to usurp places for new players but to fill tiny irrelevant spaces no one would want. But Cyclone wanted them for story reasons.

But I did ask if changes could be made to the official map to reflect that I have given more land to Wernher and that I have some sort of colonial state in the north, as below:
