Another difference depending on before versus now. Absolutely nothing before. People are gonna hate, and it is what it is. Now, though? When I was slandered and falsely accused of major crimes? Well, that’s a work in progess tied to stuff we talked about before we came here.

Now, definitely. Before, depends. It’d be a big number if you counted them, but there are a lot of people in the IA who have at least heard my name before. Like a lot.

When you become popular enough to be called famous by any metric, you do garner haters by nature. I’m sure something like that is the sad truth to their motivation.

Not for my own opinion of myself, I don’t. I like what I do, I enjoy what I do, and if something I make or do is not something that I like, then it gets redone, or binned entirely. If others see value in it too, then great. That means I’m on my A-game, or that they can relate, or the quality is high, or all of the above. But if something exists with my name on it, you can bet that I enjoyed it and thought it was worth.

Lonely? I mean, nothing about not outsourcing your confidence says you can’t also enjoy others’ company. Nor does it mean you can’t appreciate when others respect you or your capabilities.
