None of this stuff looks vintage to me. This guy was clearly an outdoorsman. The worst thing I think you can say about these are they look like they were well kept, but they were all probably at least lightly used.

Yeah. Or at least some of the stuff. That sword and gun are cool, but stuff like these picks, or maybe a sturdy tent or a grill with lifetime usability would also sell for a lot while we could keep the more practical stuff.

Someone’s gotta use it. Maybe eventually the military comes back to salvage the ships, but all this little stuff is drops in the ocean.
*Gets up on my toes again and reaches for a couple of climbing picks near the back of the shelf, and jumps a couple of times trying to pull it from its awkward position toward me so I can reach it better*

I always heard about people being lazy with security back home. I guess some things don’t change from society to society.
*The closet reveals itself to be a small space, not even large enough to walk in. But it’s filled with camping gear along a shelf on the wall, climbing equipment and other outdoorsy stuff on the floor lined up nicely, and a small orange metal tackle box resting next to a very hefty looking fishing pole leaning up against the corner*
