You could be of the opinion that I am a dog in real life.

You would be objectively wrong because I have stated many times in the past that I am a cat in real life.

You may like dogs, you may love dogs, and imagining me as a dog may increase your opinion of me. But I am a cat and I hate dogs and it is insulting to be called a dog.

I have no way of stopping you from calling me a dog beyond letting you know that it's not cool to call cats dogs.

That's an absurd scenario I felt like sharing but if you don't understand how an opinion can be insulting regardless of intent then I think you can at least understand the concept of respecting his wish not to be called an edgelord in public. You are prioritizing your opinion over his comfort and that's not nice.

If you choose to be insulted that easily that's your problem, it's the internet, get over it.

Not to mention it was a clear joke about a character, if you get insulted on behalf of a character you've put way too much ego into that character.

If someone called Liu fat, or laughed that he was a Kung Fu Panda ripoff, I wouldn't cry about it. They have a point. Ghost Rider is a campy edgelord, this electricity guy seems like a campy edgelord. Maybe he has more depth, all he's done so far is walk into a bar and rob someone straight away, which makes him more belligerent than edgy, which is why I joked that he hadn't sat in the corner for hours first. But as a character archetype, he's literally the definition of edgy. Cold aloof personality disorder, eats souls, has the power of hell? How is this even an argument?

Hell, loads of my characters are edgy, it's a common trope. It's not an immediate insult that your character lacks depth. In fact, it -makes sense- for Arena characters to be edgy, I'd be more bothered by joyful or optimistic people in Arena, considering Arena character's main purpose in life is fighting and killing people.

Stop taking everything so seriously, or we'll never get anywhere. Me and LeeRoy like to joke around and if you can't handle jokes then you definitely can't handle a fight with us. Not a damn chance.
@MelonheadWould Shen be more inclined to let us wreck his bar if Corban sprouted a different 1lb crystal for every piece of property broken? The crystal could be his choice!

*crosses fingers and prays there is no such thing as the concept of devalued wealth to the panda-man.*

Well, he can always rebuild. But monetary compensation is a little worthless to a panda who hardly charges for drinks in the first place.

You wouldn't want my waitress drunk on her first day on the job, I assume.

That's where you'd be wrong.

Everything's fine when you're pissed out your mind.

That's my motto. Now.
@MelonHead
Someone's getting headbutted like this:

Haha, watched that earlier, then watched the Real Madrid game.

Zidane you silly man.

Well so far we've talked about Organized Crime versus Pretty Gangs, how Batman should just build a better prison. How Injustice Superman is a jerk. And that Doctors Doom is a better leader albeit still a jerk.

Not to mention what makes a hero a hero, how to create natural conflict in narratives, and loads of other wonderfully superfluous and vaguely philosophical topics!

CyberDemon Edgelord supreme stole a woman's phone, and to top it off she was already kinda tipsy. Let's say Dunnaman was already drinking in a booth at the back wall. The one with a broken light.

You know how he likes to step in headfirst into fights.

Yeah go for it.

Freaking Edgelords coming into my tavern, stealing my patron's phones. Didn't even have the manners to lurk in the corner for an hour or two first before causing trouble.

What's the world bloody coming to.
I wish everyone was drunk, at least then I could condone this unnecessary brawl in my nice tavern.
Up to everyone else, if they start smashing up Liu's bar he will intervene, but I will literally use the lamest tactics I can think of to compensate for the power gap.
@MelonHead
There will be much drinking and merrymaking once Dunnaman kicks the mage's ass :V

Drinks on the house if you deal with troublemakers.

Cue Liaison attempting to negotiate himself into majority ownership of the bar as he upgrades the Lobby.

Liu knows better than to negotiate with someone like the Liason, he will defeat his cynicism with the power of vague spirituality and drunkenness, AKA pretending not to understand anything the Liason is saying and constantly changing the subject :D
I used to have a cool little program that I made them on, but my program crashed. But I started using a couple of different ones like Flaming Text which had a lot of similar fonts and such, but those have a small water mark. I'm drawing a blank on the name of the other site I use. But I can certainly make one for Silence

That would be awesome. I'm not very creative, so if you can make it then design it however you want.
