If you can make an arena post an interesting read *without it being full of technical errors and vague positioning, you've got talent. Most of us are here for the competition mainly though, so if people are leaving without the fight brought to an end, it's probably on them.

So he's going to knee strike the shield with his other leg back as a support? I mean, it works, but it's kind of risky. All Rook has to do is turn the shield, you'll be weak to the pivot with only one leg on the ground and unbalanced.

If Quebra just stops the shield dead, then no, he won't do any passing footwork, he'd just stop with the shield pushed forward, right foot leading. Rook's expecting to be able to push Quebra back because he looks lighter, so he would be prepared to advance forward in that instance.
