Looking for queer-minded writing partners

Hey there everyone, you can call me Em. I'm a 32 year old Dutchie who's been writing roleplays for well over 15 years now. If you see anything you like, please send me a PM!

What am I looking for?
- like the title says, I would love to write some queer stories. I really enjoy a good FxF story, but I'm also definitely up for some gender fuckery or off-the-binary kind of characters. I can also do MxM, but it doesn't have my preference at the moment.
- I used the word 'queer' for a reason. Give me characters that are real, characters that have bodies like people have and that do not necessarily follow the 21st century 'sexy' aesthetic. Characters that push boundaries and play with personal presentation and who fit in the setting we're writing in. Give me women who are fat, buff, hairy, disabled or anything else from the host of things that women aren't 'supposed' to be. Give me characters that push the boundaries of gender, or perhaps characters that are inhuman in ways that make the whole concept of gender a moot point to begin with. Give me something queer to play with.
- Along that line of thought: I like exploring the unusual, the strange, grotesque and ugly, and find the beauty and strength that lies within that. Let's take some risks and see where we end up.
- Romance is not a must, and within romantic-type pairings smutty stuff is not a must. I don't usually like to fade to black, but if we click well on other fronts I'm definitely willing to discuss it. I would absolutely be willing to do a more smut-heavy story as well, as long as the characters and plot work well. I might be up for kinky type shit as well, but it wholly depends on the details. Don't be afraid to ask!
- Please be over 18 at the very least.
- I prefer to RP over PM.

What can I offer?
- My posting speed varies, but it usually varies between once a day and once a week.
- I write at least 2-4 paragraphs, and would ask the same from you. One-liners kill my interest in a story fast.
- I love working together on plots and world building, whether it is adapting a setting or coming up with something new entirely.
- I'm totally up for exploring strange and unusual ideas. Let's get creative!
- I'll let you know if I lose interest, and I welcome hearing from you as well. That said, I don't mind it if you ever accidentally drift away. If you ever feel like picking it back up, just jump back in- no explanation necessary!

Plot ideas
(italicised is my (negotiable) character preference)
- Phantom of the opera inspired, Female PhantomxChristine
- MermaidxStranded Pirate
- Trained attack 'dog' werewolf X person who steals/saves her
- Beauty and the Beast inspired
- Jurrasic World inspired with female Owen
- Anything with werewolves, really
- Shifters being used as pit fighters
- Mage accidentally getting stuck with a summoned succubus
- lab experiment escapes with help of fellow experiment/janitor/remorseful scientist
- Something venom/symbiote inspired? Perhaps something with original characters/setting or

If you have something else you think I might like, I'd love to hear about it!

Kara shot a quick glance at Armis as Armaldo waddled away to get 'wolfy'. She couldn't imagine anything good could come of that, but neither could she imagine the armadillo-boy doing something to provoke the wolf. Well, doing something [/i]agressive[/i] to provoke the wolf, anyway. Armis seemed pretty certain before the wolf was more bark than bite.

"Would calling him 'wolfy' count as 'showing him respect'?" she asked lightly. She hadn't minded being nice to the little fellow, but she wasn't about to look after him if he wanted to get himself into trouble. In her experience, if people went looking for trouble, they would find it sooner rather than later and it was best not to get caught up in the crossfire.

Kara chuckled at the story. She could imagine something like that happening around halloween, but just on a normal day in the year? Must be quite a strange city- Las Vegas- though she was sure she could remember some of the gang members talking about wanting to go there. Perhaps they also wanted to dress up in strange costumes?

She cut off small pieces of meat with a wicked little knife she found in one of the drawers, and eat them without cooking as she watched Armis interact with a shy little fellow that started asking questions without introducing himself. In the background the Fox was frantically eating and then frantically cooking- it seemed the man did nothing by halves.

Kara chuckled at the hunched boy's confusion, not unkindly.

"Hey little dude," she said even though she wasn't much taller than the other hybrid. "She doesn't want your food, she wants to shake your hand." She walked up to him, took his hand and placed it in her own before moving their clasped hands up and down a couple of times.

"Like so. Now we're supposed to introduce ourselves: I'm Kara, who are you?" She wasn't planning on taking someone under her protection in this unfamiliar place, but it couldn't hurt to make friendly connections. When she'd been younger she'd been much more prone to antagonising people she hadn't met before, but she had learned since then. Especially with people that seemed weaker or more docile than her, it was simple enough to let her defences down a little.

"Food sounds great!" Kara immediately said, and she busied herself around the kitchen as she listened to Armis talk.

"Hmm, I've never dug a home for myself," she said as she opened several cuboards and fridges to see what was there.

"And I don't really like large groups of people, but I don't really want to be completely alone either. Wow, this stuff is all so fresh," she said happily, attention caught away from the conversation by the abundance of food. She had enough money to buy stuff when she got older, but she never really stopped supplementing her diet with what she could scavenge from dumsters. It was amazing what kind of things people would throw away.

She picked through the food as Armis told her story, eventually settling on a bag of raspberries and several cuts of steak.

Kara nodded along with her explanation, not really wanting to admit that she didn't really know what either of those were. Perhaps she should have gone to a museum sometime, or spent more time learning about animals and shit. She'd never expected she would actually need information like that, however, and here she was.

"I'm, uh, not really sure," she had to admit, scratching sheepishly at her ear. "I've never met anything that smells like me, and I figured I don't look like anything enough to look at pictures." She shrugged. It wouldn't matter anyway, right? She was what she was, and knowing the name didn't change that.

"Wolverine or badger, eh?" she said, breaking out in a grin. "Which one is more badass? I'll go with the badass one, it doesn't really matter , right?"

"I'm strong, and like you said I look human. People don't really care if you've got secrets if you're usefull." She was only listening with half an ear to Jerrics explanation of the rooms they went past, but she figured she got the gist of it. Armis was far more interesting than stupid prison rooms anyway.

"How did you do it anyway? I'm guessing a hoodie wasn't enough for you to walk around, right?"
@Araby264
Kara tilted her head in consideration as she mulled over Armis' words. While Kara wasn't sure she actually knew what she was doing, she didn't seem to be suicidal or looking for trouble, and that was good enough for her.

"I'm Kara," she said finally, shaking the hand that was offered.

"And I'm not sure if it works like that, the wolf thing I mean. We're not animals, right, not really? And with people the ones that feel like they are owed respect are often willing to fuck you up over stupid things." She wasn't clever like some people, but she knew about dangerous people.

She looked Armis over for a while, unsure whether it was impolite to stare when the other looked this... fascinating.

"Um... I don't want to be rude or anything, but what kind of... person are you?" she asked as careful as she knew how. "I mean, I've never really left the city, so I just know about cats and dogs and rats and pigeons and shit, but you're... not that," she finished lamely.
Paradoxally, I will probably have more time during the weeks than the weekends XD
Kara kept to the background as she listened in on the conversation between the armored lizard-girl and the big hulking wolf-man. From what she heard, he relly wasn't looking to lay low and wait for an oportunity, so she mentally made a note to not get on his radar too much. On the streets she'd learned it was best to leave the big guys to giht amongst themselves.

When Jerric started to lead them into the compound, she hesitated breifly when she saw others wander off in a different direction. It would be nice to get away from the main crowd, but she didn't want to wander around blind either. Back home her knwoledge about the back alleys had helped her mess around with people that were far less familiar with the environment. Here, though, she was the stranger and she did't like that one single bit.

After a moment's hesitation, she jogged up to the lizard-lady that had dared to approach the wolf man. She'd sounded intelligent and observant- areas that Kara knew she had a tendancy to skim over occasionally. What she needed was a level-headed ally in this place, and the other girl seemed like her best bet at the moment. Plus, she'd confidently approached a dangerous-looking hybrid, which meant she had to be strong, right?

"Hey wait up," she said as she aproached the girl. "Did you really go in there?"

I'm looking forward to seeing where he'll go! It'll be fun to see how the city-inhabitants interact with the nature-inhabitants later on. :)
The hulking lizard-man was quickly forgotten with the arrival of the next hybrid: a massive creature that was clearly more man than wolf. More than the size of him, Kara was immediately weary of the look in the eye of this 'Shadow'. The creature seemed relaxed on the surface, but it was pretty clear he was still poised to attack at any moment- seemingly unafraid of the multitude of guns pointed at his person.

Kara hadn’t really thought about what kind of creatures she would be put in with, and she was quickly realising that she couldn’t have anticipated any of this. The air of menace that came from Shadow reminded her off the guard dogs that often guarded warehouses- the kind that were kept vicious and hungry enough to tear into anyone that would set foot within their reach and didn’t even have the state of mind to retreat even if their lives depended on hit. She didn’t know much about their ‘training’ other than that it took a lot of applied violence to morph an animal into a state of violence than only humans seemed to deal in.

As Jerric recklessly ran over to the wolf-man, Kara maneuvered herself until the big lizard-man was between her and the wolf. Should it come down to a fight, she’d rather not get caught between the heavyweights.
