Metadude — Roleplayer Guild

This is just to gauge interest. If it doesn't work out but you want to use the idea for yourself, go for it. For anyone who just wants this idea as a 1 on 1, PM me :)

Hoping for a group of no more than three or four other people. 

Maa’jhick


Starts in a standard city, thick jungle/forest in the area nearby. Basic plot is city is besieged by local plantlife, with Guards (and some characters) fighting it back, it's discovered a powerful Mage was behind the attack (of course). In response, a bounty of several thousand gold is placed on the Mages head. The bounty causes our characters to rally together, forming a small party to get on the Adventuring train. 

Tech Level:

Fantasy Medieval. No guns, just swords and bows. Crossbows will be incredibly rare so please don’t give your character one unless they’re Nobility.

In general, you can be anything you choose. However, try to keep it logical. Eg, if you choose to be a Noble, there needs to be a reason you’re slumming it with the other players if they themselves aren’t Nobles. 

(All except Enslaved can be an Adventurer/Traveller - the social type is just their wealth status)

Nobility
Upper Class
Middle Class
Lower Class
Enslaved (can be owned by Nobility, Upper Class and in rare cases, Middle Class)


Humans
Elves (Dark, Forest, Golden, etc)
Drast (Lizardmen types, multiple species/sub-species)
Kobolds (more Lizards)
Beastmen (Humanoid/Werewolf looking beings, wear clothes/armor)
Other Races (Ask me)

For race appearance during character creation, you can use any pictures off the internet that match. Eg, for Drast, you can use Argonians, Dragonborn, Iksar, whatever.


Wild Animals (Intelligence Varies)
Dragons (Very intelligent) 
Goblins (Below average intelligence)
Ethereals (Very Intelligent, basically made of pure Maa’jhick, any race can become one)
Demons (Similar to Ethereals, just evil af)
Undead (Intelligence varies)
Elementals (Unintelligent)
Golems (Unintelligent)
Plants (Unintelligent)


Romance/Player Character Hookups

100% allowed, you can let it happen gradually or you can turn other players down. However, stick to the Guild Rules. Anything more advanced than a kiss should go to PM’s :)

I will allow Player x NPC hookups too, but I will need you to speak with me so I know ahead of time, and can confirm or deny the request. You’re more than welcome to still desire that NPC, but they will react as I have told you. 9/10 times I will be happy to accommodate you, but some characters just won’t be interested for a list of reasons. 

Player Actions 

You can literally do whatever you want. However, if you want to do something to another player, get their permission first.

Enslaved, sorry but if this is you, the person who owns you? They can make you do whatever they want. This is within reason. For owners, don’t make them cut their tongue out or something, that’s just being a rule bending dickweed.
