Bio

Hey, you! Welcome to my Basic Member Page!
I know, I know. Impressive. Please remove your jaw from the floor, your drool is staining my virtual carpet. Japes aside, seeing as you're still reading, I suppose I'll introduce myself.

My name's Tiye, and I've been role-playing on & off again for about 3 years now; originally with a few close friends, chat rooms here & there, but I mostly stuck with creative writings of own. Now I'm looking for more of a community. Some things about me: I'm a Black, 17 year old, agenderflux (they/she pronouns) teen who errs on the side of intrigue, and enjoys long walks by the beach. I've also been known to have a penchant for humor, but I don't know who started that vile rumor. If you find them, they're wanted dead or alive.

So yeah, that's me. How about you? Don't be afraid to pm or message, I only bite when I'm hungry or bigots are nearby. Either way, have a good one :)

@Balthazar007 I feel I must ask after seeing a Level 26 on Route 1... is there any kind of level cap on these routes?
ROUTE 1: Coast

'We lost.' Rin dropped to their knees behind their fallen starter. Fingers curling underneath her unconscious body; nails now grimy with dirt. Their chest felt tight. Their breathing a little laborious. Rin sighed, but spoke in an even tone. "Well that went miserably. I thought Anu would be able to at least take one hit. Hm." That was that. They'd just have to try harder next time. The road to victory isn't paved without hardships. Rin knew this. Still, a nagging feeling over the short reign of their undefeated streak still pestered in the back of their head. Placing a goodnight kiss on Anusobeket's head, Rin whispered to their Totodile. "I know you tried your best. We'll get better." One flash of red light later, and Anusobeket was back within her pokéball.

Rin looked up to find Osajyin slowly trotting back from their curt chase after the Furret. "No luck?" The Leaf Pokémon shook his head. "Yeah, she's a speedy one that's for sure." Getting up, Rin unzipped their coat to stretch out their binder which had been the actually cause of their chest and breathing troubles earlier. All of the upper body exercise of today was really making wearing it more strenuous. By the time Rin finished, they had already made their way back to the beach with Osajyin rolling over their pile of sticks to a pre-picked spot on the beach. Looking over his work, Rin discovered Osajyin had caught a grand total of one baby fish. Admirable for his first try, but Rin let him know right away they wouldn't be able to make dinner with that. For conciliation, Rin patted him on the back of his neck telling him how they'd teach him how to fish properly one day; just like how they had learned from their aunt Mary. Besides, it's not like Rin hadn't packed any rations. They'd just divvy them up later. Seeing as no Krabby or Corphish had invaded their little camp, it looked like Olotah had done a good job as well. With congratulations out of the way, Rin got to setting up their stick and tarp tent.

When it was all done, Rin stood back to look over their work, and dusted off their hands. Osaja and Olo came over as well. "Not great, but it'll fit us." A fire came back to Rin's eyes. "That is if we don't catch too many more pokémon, but I fully intend to!" The night was early, and even if it wasn't Rin had a mission to fulfill. They were going to catch pokémon until they couldn't anymore at every chance they got. That Furret from earlier? Just a lesson in humility. Whether they'd learn that lesson was another matter entirely; for the moment Rin had other concerns. Returning Olotah to his pokéball, Rin called out for Osajyin to follow as they ran back to bushes of the shore's treeline; searching for tall grass full of Pokémon. "Seven-Hundred-Ninety-Eight, here we come!" Who knows if that Furret would still follow, or maybe Rin really had seen the last of her slinking figure. Only time would tell.

Not me ;-;
Yes we've PMed about it. I will certainly check out this new NPC, lol, she sounds like just the type to become a new rival for Rin.
Goodnight, Balthazar!
May sweet dreams find you in sleepland~
I fear the level and evolution difference might make the difference there. Herracorss is built to be in that form forever while Chimchar still has a lot of growing to do. However, you may want to consider dumping more points in. It's up to you though.
Are you typing in numbers into the little boxes on the left side of the slider?
ROUTE 1: Coast

Rin tapped their chin before putting it as plain as they could, "You are an evolved pokémon, so I'm sure you know how this goes. If you wanna hangout, we gotta battle. Friends fight, it's like bonding or something, but with physical pain. I'm sure you understand right?" Rin gave the Furret two thumbs up and a genuine smile before nodding to Anusobeket. As requested, she fired a volley of water from her mouth with her STAB Water Gun. "Osajyin! Make sure she doesn't run off," Rin called out as they waved over the (still) Leaf Pokémon. The thought of a wild Furret following was appealing, but Rin would much rather just catch her. They still have Seven-Hundred-Ninety-Eight pokémon left to catch after all!

Teach her respect for her elders, Liz! I believe in you!
ROUTE 1: Coast

Rin was known for many things, and subtly was not one of them. Their eyes grew to be like sauscers before honing in on where the Long Body Pokémon had sunken back to. If they had seen correctly that was an evolved pokémom. "What are you doing down there?" Rin took a step forwards, before following up there question with, "Wait, are you hiding? From me? I mean I am going to be World Champion, but I don't bite. Unless I'm hungry . . . which I'm not." Anusobeket stood out in front of Rin, a Water Gun on the brim of her teeth. She arched her brow at Rin. "That depends," Rin told Anu before turning towards the Furret, "you gonna come out the easy way or the hard way?" If Rin was successful, this would be their second evolved pokémon, but they were more than certain they could handle her with Osajyin over on standby.

ROUTE 1: Hills

Rin actually had to cut the video-call short upon Umi's instance to appraise their new Pokémon, which prompted Rin to then discover Anusobeket's absence, drop their Pokédex --shutting off its screen, and sprint off to find their starter. Osajyin and Olotah in tow. At first the duo seemed content to continue their little artshow; with Osajyin cooly unperturbed, and Olotah assuming his Trainer was simply running to get the exercise. Upon hearing Anusobeket's name called out, but having no Anusobeket in sight caused the older pokémon to nudge the younger on after Rin. Osaja's gained maturity also gave him the hindsight to know to retrieve Rin's fallen Pokédex that he noted his Trainer screaming greetings at just moments before. When his head came back up from having to scoop the device into his mouth, he caught sight of Rin running straight through patch after patch of tall grass in their search. It was a miracle they weren't caught by a wild pokémon. However unbeknownst to them, they did catch the eye of a certain Long Body Pokémon. Taking an intrest in the scattered group, she watched them from a far; hidden in the underbrush of bushes.

ROUTE 1: Coast

Eventually she saw the teenaged trainer make a dash for the shore, where they were soon reunited with their starter. Her gentle spirit and sentimental heart loved a happy ending. It was a sweet sight seeing the two hug and laugh. From her vantage point, it appeared the group was looking to fashion some kind of camp on the shore as the sun had gotten awfully low. So much so, it had finally said goodnight to the world, and had laid to rest underneath the horizon. Figuring she'd make herself comfortable if she was going to stalk the group, the Furret set to making herself a little pallet with some leaves beneath her. When she looked up, the Trainer was headed right towards her location! Had she been discovered? Not at all. In fact, Rin was only coming over to find sticks among the treeline for supporting the tarp they had packed for a tent.

Rin wasn't even looking for firewood at the moment as they well intend to set up camp now, and then return after they'd satisfied themself with their catches for the day. Could the Furret sense this and stay hidden, or would she scare off, or even potentially attack? Rin didn't know as they were oblivious to her presence. Their mind was still preoccupied wondering if their Pokémon could handle the small tasks Rin had given to each of them as they were quite used to doing things on their own; never worrying over someone else's ability to get the job done. Though, really they only worried about of their pokémon. Osajyin was tasked with trying to hunt any small fish that came too close to shore even though he wasn't the most proactive; Olotah had the job of staying on lookout with the dim light of his Synthesis even though he was a little too trusting; and Anusobeket had the straightforward occupation of shooting down tough branches with Water Gun even though the noise probably caught the attention of any and every pokémon on the beach every twenty seconds she used it. Pointing to a branch not too far from the Furret's hiding spot, Rin called out another command.

"Go ahead, Anusobeket! We're gonna need that one too. Use Water Gun!"
