Name: Kaldalis Vau
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance:
---
Abilities: Kaldalis is an expert in swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat, having trained since his early years. He is also adept in using other weapons, such as spears, axes, daggers, staffs and bows, although his skill in using these is still lower than his skill with a blade and his fists.
---
Special weaknesses: Kaldalis' most notable weakness is his inability to use magic, he was born without any affinity to magic at all and cannot use any form of it. He can however, use items imbued with magic themselves. He also sometimes puts himself and his enemy on equal ground, rather than taking advantage due to his code of honor.
---
Weapons:
Kuy'val dar: The Kuy'val dar is a sword, made out of an incredibly durable and relatively light metal. It was forged by his uncle, one of the most skilled blacksmiths in Concordia, and given to him. The sword is extremely durable, due to the nature of the metal used to build it, and as light as most swords if its type. He keeps it in a sheath on the left side of the body when not in use.
---
Items:
Dimensional Cloak: The Dimensional Cloak is a blue cape which is his family's heirloom, which he took when he began his journey outside of his nation. The cloak is capable of short-ditance teleporting to any location within his line of sight, although it has a cooldown of 3-10 minutes. He accomplishes this by wrapping the cloak around himself, which then warps him to the location of his desire, he can also transport others if they are covered by his cape as well.
Armor: Kaldalis' suit of armor protects him from many types of attacks, it is effective against kinetic attacks and can block arrows if they strike the appropriate parts of his armor. His armor, however, has several weak points, such as the armpit area and the areas between the plates of metal.
Money Satchel: A leather satchel where he stores his currency in, wether it be coins, gems or other forms.
Healing potions: He carries around 5 small potions containing a red liquid, which can cure minor and some moderate wounds when ingested.
Water bottle: A glass bottle used to store drinking water.
Food: A small leather container which contains a few loaves of garlic bread wrapped in paper.
Knife: A small knife to use in tasks where his sword can't be used in.
Journal: A leather-bound journal with a pencil attached to it through a piece of string, used for taking notes.
These items are carried in his utility belt or inside his cloak, depending on the size and use of said item.
---
Backstory: Born in a remote archipelago nation named Concordia, Kaldalis was raised from birth to be a warrior as his culture dictates. He grew up training with his father, relatives, or any other trusted person that could train him in combat or survival. Once he reached the age of 15, he set off on a journey, to wander the world beyond Concordia and to experience and learn more. As he wandered across the world, he learned more about many different things and aspects of life previously unknown to him. He also protected villages that he stumbled upon from local bandit or creature attacks, eventually gaining a reputation and an alias known as the "Wandering Protector". Eventually, his travels led him on a boat to Trios, eager to see what new adventures await him.
