Current Anybody wanna read a sloppily planned YA fantasy about a demigod that discovers the concept of love and family in a world that literally bends over to hate him? No? Yeah, me neither ;_;

Would probably get back into RPing if I wasn't writing my own stuff. And working.

Seeing it as an opportunity to finally exit the scene, Adrian was eager to follow along with Johnny. "YES! Yes. Please, breakfast would be the best right about now." He replied, quickly taking up the rear. "I'm gonna have to meditate on this, after all's said and done...lord have mercy." He was gonna have a headache. He was never a fan of swiftly escalating confrontations.
Ezra did a little musing of his own as the group proceeded down the road. The day may've just begun for the boy, but it was already proving its eventfulness. "Choice! Didn't think I would run into another Warrior type on this journey, let alone be in a travelling party with one! She could make for a great sparring partner! Daily sparring, while on the road...? It would be like, the ultimate way to stay in shape!" He let the thought trail off there, seemed like he was getting ahead of himself. Least he could do was ask Alix for permission to spar first.

But, before he could make his intentions known, his gaze wandered past the two other individuals walking with the group. Didn't seem like either of the two were readying up some formal introductions, but judging by the boy's lab coat and glasses, Ezra knew he was along for the journey. The other girl, however, didn't match up with any of Ato's descriptions. A real cute shortstack of a girl, adorned in attire Ezra could only describe as "punky". She seemed an interesting enough of a character just at face value alone, but he hadn't managed to hear her talk yet.

Before he could introduce himself to the two, the group approached a fork in the road, hosted by Ato and a local Pokemon Ranger. As the two described each of the roads presented to our travelling troupe, Ezra could barely contain his answer. "Welp, I know which way I wanna go!" He added, practically already approaching the path less paved. "It looks fun, honestly." He added, simply. And, it sounded like a chance to chat with some of the rarer types of the area's fauna, which also sounded awesome to him.
Adrian showed off a pretty good grimace as Riley did his best to patch up the grievous wound inflicted upon him. What was left of his foot was encased in ice...or turned into ice? Adrian couldn't really tell. "I'm not sure feet or ice work that way..." He mumbled, looking on as he hobbled away. "Or maybe they do. I don't know how that guy works..." "He should probably see a actual doctor or something..." He thought aloud, reproaching Victoria...who had gone back to their previous branch of conversation with nary a hitch. She seemed more excited after the event than before. Adrian sighed, grasping for his forehead.

"Typical morning at the Refuge..." He sighed again.
The area was becoming tense again. Least Adrian could do was attempt to defuse the situation. He began to approach Riley. "Don't start, Rie. They get it, you're powerful, and we could use the training, but even you can't help but think your methods are a bit unethical-" BANG! Victoria acted much faster than Adrian could, simply popping the cryomancer in the foot. Naturally, this surprised Adrian.

"AHH! FUCK!" He yelped and flinched on instinct. "Victoria! Really?! Jesus!" That shot was much much closer than he'd like to admit, and sent his ears ringing.
"I'm just surprised to could even attempt to gain the connections needed to get us a nuke..." Adrian replied to Promethean child, in some disbelief. It was usual for her to make casual boasts such as that from time to time, but something as serious as obtaining such heavy artillery threw Adrian through a bit of a loop. Soon after that, seemed most began turning their attention towards Riley, who took it upon himself to begin an extreme impromptu training session with the much younger, much more inexperienced, Rayon.

"Yeah dude, bring 'im down." Adrian joined in with the yelling and calling. "That's a bit much, even for you." Adrian almost felt like he was negotiating in some sort of hostage situation. Even then he didn't feel like his yells would reach the two, considering just how high up they were.
"Geez, never realized just how wound up some of these kids are." Adrian thought, looking on as Riley approached the young Rayon in the air. "Well with Ephraim, everyone's favorite stick in the mud, it's a given. But it seems just about everyone takes themselves so seriously." He had joined Victoria at the table, and leaned against it as he thought more on the situation. "Well, it is wartime, after all. Never know who or what might attack us at any given moment." He let out a little sigh. "Geez, what a way to live." With that, he addressed Victoria.

"Soooo, back to 'Operation: Let's Buy ALLLLL the Weapons'. How much of that do you plan on following through with? How big are we planning on getting? Carpet bombing? Tactical nuke? One'a those satellite heat beam thingies you see in the video games?" He asked. He would do these sort of things with Victoria; ask an absurd question just to see how serious she'd take it.
Adrian couldn't help but chuckle as he lazily meandered on by the shooting range. Looked like target practice was subsiding for the day, and considering the familiar sounds of an argument, he could understand why. He didn't even have to see faces to know Victoria and Ephraim were butting heads. And even after the riveting conversation ended, and Nycteris took off for the woods, the air was still just ever so tense. Or maybe Adrian was confusing "tense" with "steadily dropping". He only realized he was mixing up words once Riley made his way towards the targets.

"Ugh, should've put on thicker shorts this morning." He thought, his bare legs receiving the brunt of the icy wind. Once Adrian reached Victoria and Johnny, Riley said some words that Adrian couldn't help but agree with. "Gotta side with Frosty on this one. I'll probably never be good with a bow, but I know I can hit someone with a fireball. With the same speed and strength of an arrow." Another gust of the cold front passed by, and sent a noticeable shiver down his spine. "...Though, it would be cool if we were working with something a little warmer." He mumbled a little softer, blowing a spew of flame into his cupped hands to warm them.

"Vicky, Johnny." He brightly greeted the two. "Are you guys playing nice this morning?" He asked the way a doting mother asks her children. He may've shared Victoria's opinion on the gods and how not to worship them, he just didn't see himself being as...militant as she was. "Militant? Is that the word i'm looking for...? Driven. Driven sounds better."
Name: Adrian Nicholson
Age: 20
Gender: Male

Godly Parent: Agni, Hindu god of fire
Brief description of godly parent: The Hindu minor god, Agni, is said to be a son of Dyaus and Prithivi; he is called the son of Brahma. An immortal considered a priest that rises before the dawn. He is represented as a red man, having three legs and seven arms, dark eyes, eyebrows and hair. He rides on a ram, and wears a poita (Brahmanical thread). Flames of fire issue from his mouth, and seven streams of glory radiate from his body.

Skills/Powers/Weapons: Given his heavenly heritage, Adrian naturally possesses a control over flame. This includes conjuration, manipulation, and resilience. Alongside this remarkable ability, his body boasts feats of impressive speed and durability.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Anyone can tell you, fire is as destructive as it is helpful. And Adrian has these...tendencies. An abundance of flame (say, a wildfire) is uncontrollable in the boy's eyes. Not only that, but such an abundance brings out a urge in him, to keep the flame alive, to help it flourish and spread. In these episodes of arson, he tends to take on a look closer resembling his father. A red skinned, seven armed form, with flames pouring from his lips. With an axe of flame in each hand, he mindlessly lays waste to everything in his vicinity.

It was why he was at the Refuge, after all. He considered it a place to keep his abilities under control. He curses the existence of his godly parent and has no intention on practicing his religion, wishing he was never bestowed with such a "gift".

Other: He keeps these negative urges at bay through meditation, and through general camaraderie and social interaction. He figures if he can keep these urges out of mind and out of body, he can keep them under control. As a result he tends to present himself as approachable and friendly.
Oops, hope I didn't wait too late!

Would a demigod born of Shiva be okay? Or is he not minor enough?
