Kaya rolled her eyes and shook her head, letting herself smile despite everything as she finished off her burger. “Okay, I’ll give it to you, there are pretty good. This was a really good idea.” She finally admitted, finishing off her milkshake and sighing in content. This was definitely a place she planned to frequent more. The food was good and the place was quiet enough that she could study if she wanted too. Bryant probably wouldn’t like her using his burger as a place of study though. “So you have anything else you wanna do or do you wanna get going?” Kaya asked as she riffled though her bag, pulling out her wallet and throwing her share of money on the table.

A small pinging noise caught Belle’s attention and she could see Sif’s health going down rapidly and it dawned on her that she’d never disbanded the party in her anger and haste last night. Her first reaction was to simply disband the party, however her hand hesitated and eventually letting it drop. Pina looked at her, cooing softly and causing Belle to growl in annoyance. “Gah I hate myself!” She said angrily as she pulled out a small blue crystal and threw it to the ground, blue light exploding around her before she appeared in the beginner’s field next to Sif.

Pina spread his wings and took to the air, quickly healing Sif as Belle stood there as she began muttering strange words softly, circles of floating words began circling her, some glowing powerfully as others faded away. The glowing words began lining up. The wolves weren’t taking this lying down; however, after the initial shock of Belle’s appearance they sprung to attack her, the A.I evaluating her as a bigger threat. However Belle didn’t move to defend or retreat, rather focusing on the spell until flames suddenly burst from the circle of words, engulfing the wolves as they began bursting into non-existence whilst leaving Sif unharmed.

Pina circled around and landed on her shoulder, Belle letting out a small breath as she turned to Sif with narrowed eyes.
South was quiet for most of Alaska’s comforting words and, though perhaps she didn’t show it as much as she could have, she was grateful for them. It was nice to know that they cared about each other beyond the missions, that she could call them friends. “Thank you.” She eventually said once she was done, managing a small smile in spite of the situation. “That means a lot to me.” However as they began approaching the ship she went back to sitting there silently, mentally sorting through everything going through her head, this whirling blur of emotions and experiences.

The ship pulled in and the girl stood, making her way towards the exit. However South found herself facing a small group of strangers, only three, blocking her path as Cal was quickly taken away. “Agent South Dakota, you are in possession of the data correct?” She looked at them curiously but nodded eventually. “Please come with us for a debriefing.” South glanced over to where Cal disappeared through the doors into the ship and then back to the men, nodding slightly as she allowed herself to be led away.

North’s attention had been primarily on Cal, until he noticed South’s absence and turned to see her going off in another direction with a different group. They didn’t look like freelancers, but he’d seen people wearing that kind of amour around here and there, he suspected they did the grunt work for the director. Somewhere in her rush South looked over at him and the pair made eye contact, each nodding to the other, knowing they’d get in contact later. He decided the only thing to do for now was to go and make sure Cal made it. He couldn’t really do anything, but he’d feel better if he was at least close by.
Okay so plans for the next chapter in our little adventure:
-so when we get back to the ship Cal is taken away for medical treatment

-South is taken away to do some decryption work which I can either span over 12 hours or a couple of days, depending on if Apollosarcher wants to go on the next mission or not, which will take place pretty much take place as soon as she's done.

-The next mission will be fairly similar to the one from the show, two teams, one raiding a building for a chest-like object, the other going on a car chase for a briefcase (because I'm really original like that). However I was thinking if you guys were sick of missions we could skip it because it will be so close to the other one

-From there we'll talk about the A.I a little OOC and then dive into that saga :)

The blaring of her alarm woke her up and Avery groaned in annoyance. She hated that she was so responsible. In an attempt to keep a regular and healthy sleep schedule she made sure to wake up fairly early each day. It was only seven in the morning, but to a lot of people apparently that was early. Outside the sun was shining, the perfect day to go outside and do something not game related. However the virtual world was calling her. She was sure there was some addictive element to the NervGear, there had to be.

Still she should at least get some breakfast before she ate. She was sure she had some toaster waffles stashed somewhere. The notes at her door caught her attention and she moved over to them. Apparently this was a thing they did now. However it did make her giggle slightly. So the forum address told him she was a player but the threat to smite him from the other day if she ever met him in world was nothing. Now she was presented with an interesting dilemma. Honestly she was still very suspicious of James, this could very easily be a ploy to kill her and take all her things online.

Sure she was strong but outnumbered no one stood a chance. Eventually she decided to give it some time to think it over and simply decided she’d reply later as she pulled her gear out and slipped it on, logging in and appearing on the hill near Cait-Si starter town. Turning quickly the girl took off into the forest where she figured she stood less chance of running into Sif again.

Avery made herself a fairly simple dinner, instant chicken noodle soup since it was perfect weather for it. The bowl in hand she snuggled up on her bed and put the movie into her computer. It was a comfortable night, nights she figured would probably have been better spent in company. It didn’t help that all her friends were across the ocean. She’d struggled making friends here, but it made sense, solo player online, solo in real life. For all James’ rudeness he at least had friends, which would sometimes lead her to wonder if it had been, in fact, her who was the problem.

Then she realised she was thinking about James again and the girl made a face as she finished off her soup and retrieved the ice cream. It was relatively early, about ten at night when she finally decided to turn in for the night. Tomorrow was looming and she had to figure out what she was going to do to amuse herself. Fairy Tale loomed and she figured she could just go off on her own, Sif was still a low level player with no skill. He had no chance of following her if she went out into the neutral zones with even moderately difficult monsters.

A small look crossed the girl’s face as he thanked her ad then turned tail and ran. A look that was a mixture of curiosity, amusement and confusion. That small, hesitant and almost timid thankyou was not a side of James she had ever seen before. Then again the only side of him she could really say she’d seen before was insulting ass hat. So it felt fairly easy to say that unless he’d insulted her it would have been a side of him she’d never seen before. She still had a few things she wanted to do, so whilst he ran back to the dorms she continued into town.

Thinking about it she could have sworn maybe she’d seen this small look of fear on his face, but thinking it over again she shook her head slightly and realised she was being stupid. And she wasting her time thinking about James. In town Avery picked up a few books, figuring she had to find something else to amuse herself with now that she wasn’t comfortable going back to Fairy Tale yet and some things for dinner. A fantasy movie completed her ‘staying home’ night and she began making her way home.

Over the course of her trip the rain had lightened up significantly, now it was only light patters. You could walk through it without getting saturated by now and she assumed it would only get lighter and eventually stop as night rolled around. It was about six by the time she arrived home, glad to see her umbrella had made its way back to her, slightly surprised to see a thank you note from James accompanying it. Sighing she pulled out her notebook and a pen, scribbling down a Fairy Tale forum address on it and sliding it under the boy’s door.

There was no point keeping it to herself now since she had no clue when she’d be going back. Heading back into her room the girl let herself in, closing the door behind her before she began putting her things away.

Oh dear... you need to be more careful sir :P Also trying to figure out how we're going to handle the whole Sif issue now, since she kind of thinks he's a creeper. I'm thinking though, Belle would probably come to his aid if he got into trouble, and we could explain things out from there?

Another idea was maybe have James subtly talk about the issue, saying this girl he likes thinks he's creepy now but it's just a big misunderstanding but I still think they're not at a point where they can talk about that stuff yet so maybe not.

Despite the back turned to her as Avery approached she was easily able to recognise James and she sighed internally. She’d seen him walking away from her after a slung insult too many times to now know what he looked like from behind. Which was a sad fact. Internally she was debating the best course of action. Most of her wanted to ignore him, so she raised her head, holding it high and staring straight ahead as she walked right past him, however as she re-entered the rain her footsteps slowed until they eventually came to a stop and she sighed internally again.

Turning very slightly the girl cast a look over her shoulder to look at him. He looked miserable. She knew this should cause her some sort of happiness, schedenfreude if her German class was to be believed, which essentially translated to ‘taking pleasure in the suffering of others’. But all she felt was sympathy. Hell it would take a lot for James to avoid hurling an insult at her. Sighing once more, externally this time she turned and walked back towards him and stood before the boy, holding her umbrella out to him as she stared at the ground.

“Take it.” She insisted. The rain had been forecast to last all day, so he’d either be stuck here all day or he’d get soaked going home and whilst she understood some people enjoyed that kind of thing personally she hated the rain getting on her. “Go on, I’ve got a raincoat on anyway.” Avery continued, not really knowing if he’d take the offering or not. They’d never really been in a situation like this before and she wondered how proud he was. Worst case she could always just leave the umbrella and walk away, hoping he’d have the decency to take it and not leave it there for someone to steal.

The day was deeply overcast, perfect weather to stay inside and play video games. However Avery just wasn’t in the mood for it today, not after the events of last night. She felt so violated, relieved that things hadn't gotten to point where something really bad had happened but it didn’t stop the betrayed feelings welling up inside her. She grabbed a bag and an umbrella and made her way outside onto the campus in search of something she could do to take her mind off what had happened. It was late in the afternoon, however before she left her apartment.

Outside it was pouring down rain and she was glad she’d brought her rain coat and umbrella. Stepping out into the empty campus it was amazing how soothing the rain was as it pattered against the plastic of the umbrella and over the ground, it made her smile slightly. She was about ten minutes away from the dorms when she saw a figure up ahead taking shelter from the rain in a small archway. Apparently they had left before the rain had set in and hadn't through to bring something to keep it off them. Avery pondered this as she made her way towards them.
