Otaku Town (Slice of Life RP)

Mathew walked cautiously into Otaku Town, recognizing the anime characters and scenery adorning the walls whether it was in pictures or painted directly onto the wall. EDM was playing throughout the bar, loud enough to notice but not so loud as to drown out people's voices. With his eyes wide in paranoid terror, Mathew sat at the bar and ordered a Health Potion. A Health Potion was a vodka based cocktail mixed with cranberry juice and soda, and served in a jar.

He had no reason to fear anyone or anything at this bar, his behavior was brought about by a coming down from substances he wasn't used to. The night prior, Mathew had left this very establishment with a friend he had newly made to sample magic mushrooms. What wound up happening was the two of them consuming the friend's entire remaining supply. Earlier that day, Mathew giggled in amusement at how things which were normally still danced and waved at him. He had spent the early morning (11:45 am more specifically) still under the influence of what he had done the night before, and when the hallucinations wore off he was still laughing at his own thoughts. That lasted until night fell, when he realized he had left something of importance at his friend's house and forgot how to get to the place or contact him. So he came back to Otaku Town in the hopes of finding this person again.

Welcome to Otaku Town, your neighborhood anime themed bar/arcade, featuring classic arcade games and specialty cocktails based on popular video games and animes. Otaku Town is the perfect meetup spot for gamer geeks and weaboos all over town, and don't be fooled! Those types come from all walks of life. Every weekend there is a tournament, and occasionally Otaku Town hosts events and parties thrown by other companies. Even the Hashiriya Street Alliance shows their cars off occasionally, and no there is NEVER any street racing (we need to say that to keep the cops away.) Marijuana is legal in the state of [REDACTED] but we NEVER have anything illegal going on around here...ever.

Slice of Life RP about anime nerds who might drink a bit too much...among other things...

Rules:

1. You will notice a lack of a CS template here. I don't want to be too strict with that. Just remember this takes place in reality, so not magic powers and this mostly isn't a fighting/battle rp so tone it down on that combat abilities. Important things are just your name, age, appearance, and anything else you feel will help your character add to the RP.

2. Being that this isn't a combat RP and supposed to be real life, if your character just walks up to someone and hits them they will suffer the consequences you can expect if you do that in real life. Same if you just up and murder someone. There might be minor combat such as fist fights or other things, but thats not the focus of the RP.

3. No dragons, demons, or other magical monsters. If a character mentions something like that they are likely either referring to a video game, a tv show, or a drug hallucination.

4. If your character has romance with someone else be they another player character or an NPC, please don't go into much detail.

5. Please don't post until your CS has been approved. I just want to make sure nobody comes in all "Hikaru the demon neko schoolgirl threw fireballs at Otaku Town until it was just ash and all the characters died."

6. You can have a history with other characters at the bar or be completely new. You can even be a member of the Hashiriya Alliance.

7. While this is supposed to be IRL, I might give some characters plot armor some times to make things interesting.

Slow paced Slice of Life RP set in Colorado?

Interesting things have happened to me this year and that tempts me to make a (mostly) realistic RP based on where I live. Basically the idea is all the characters go to this anime themed bar consistently and there are events, drugs, drama, romance, and there will even be a little combat in the form of fist fighting to keep things interesting. You would play as an ordinary person of course, the type that enjoys nightlife and probably anime/gaming. Maybe you drink too much, maybe do cocaine, the possibilities are endless (but you won't be magic or whatever lol.) Also there are no expectations for how much you post or how often because I am a busy guy myself. Just found a little spare time to do this. Who would be interested?

Hey, just wondering if anyone is interested in an apocalypse rp with a lighter, more funny tone. The funny tone mainly comes from shock humor, but the goal is to not focus on the negative. Also it’s far into the future so there is more I have created which will need to be learned, but I am a fun GM don’t worry. Who is with me?
