Wanted to express my interest in this, and I will most likely have a CS ready tomorrow EU time, if not tonight.

EDIT: Character sheet application.

@Minime Application!

Accepted! Me and my friends VHarland and Deadnout will have our own up soon as well.

Premise
It's been nineteen years since the Declaration of a New Order, and as far as the average citizen knows, there is nothing but peace and prosperity. The Confederacy of Independent Systems have long since been defeated, leaving the galaxy unified under one rule again. The Jedi Order, who started the Clone Wars to destabilize the galaxy in the first place and help give them the opportunity to seize control of the Galactic Republic, have largely been purged. And while there are some misguided youths who would dare rise up against the Empire, in the end, they are always snuffed out by the Empire's seemingly infinite number of armies and fleets.

You don't have much going for you, and maybe you're feeling patriotic or like going on an adventure, so you decide to join the Empire! You don't know that the Emperor is a dark lord of the Sith, that the Jedi were really innocent and you haven't seen enough of the galaxy yet to realize that the Empire, at it's core, is really an authoritarian regime who will crush even the slightest sign of dissidence. Maybe you've heard whispers of rebellion, maybe somebody's tried to warn you about the truth, but what do they really know? They're a rebel, or at least a supporter of the rebellion! Why would you believe the word of a terrorist over the government? Or maybe you didn't have a choice. You're a smuggler, you're neck deep in debt with the Hutts, and you've seen just enough to know the Empire is a little oppressive. But it's either spend a life on the run from bounty hunters who want to kill you or join the Empire, where maybe you'll be safe. OK Sure, maybe you'll see some combat, but the rebels aren't too much of a threat... right?

Rules
1. Please do not write in first person.
2. Nobody's perfect. For every character strength you have, you should also have some kind of flaw.
3. Your character isn't invincible and you can't control other player characters. God-modding is a no go.
4. Any kind of sexual act that may be involved in the RP will have to fade to black or be taken somewhere private before it goes too far.
5. Also keep in mind this is a mature RP. Expect violence, foul language and mature themes.
6. Just because (out of character) you're already aware of certain things in the galaxy does not mean your character necessarily is.
7. I'm open to productive dialogue regarding choices I or other GMs may make, but at the end of the day, I ask people to at least respect my decisions.

Again, this is as far as the average joe is aware of. Now imagine you're some nerf herder on a backwater planet like Dantooine. Of course nineteen years after the establishment of the Empire, there's a lot going on. Both Alderaan and the Death Star have just been destroyed, the Imperial Senate is being dissolved and the Rebel Alliance is on the move. Our characters will be Imperial TIE pilots fresh out of flight school, and over the course of the RP, will be learning about the true nature of the Empire and become rebel defectors. But even after learning the truth, there's always the possibility that maybe our characters will still think the Empire is justified in it's actions, and will stay in Imperial service, possibly under some notion that we'll be fixing the Empire's problems from within.

Having just watched Rogue One, and largely influenced by this little gem, I've been absolutely dying for a starfighter-oriented RP set during the original trilogy. I'd be happy to let other people sort of co-moderate the RP, because if it isn't obvious already too, I don't have a clear story plotted out for the RP, but only some directions for us to drive towards. It'll be based on what characters are made, and what actions are taken during the RP, that I imagine some sort of plot will be improvised. I'd also like to keep the number of players in the RP sort of small, maybe five people at most. This is because from past experiences, large group RPs always end up being bogged down because of how many people we're waiting for, and people tend to lose interest while waiting for so long for their turn.
About Me

I'm not very good at describing myself, but here I go: I'm 19 years old, I'm a guy and I'm from Texas. I've been RPing since I was 13, largely as the god moderator, and with the same group of people since probably 2009. But being the sole GM takes a toll on you after a while, and I've really been interested in meeting somebody new that's capable of making the setting, the ensemble of characters, and the plot with me.

When it comes to writing, I'm a bit out of practice right now. Sometimes when I'm feeling especially inspired, I can go on and on and on. Other days, I get stumped, and struggle to write up a solid paragraph. That being said, I'll always try to at least match you in terms of length and quality. I also have a tendency to write something up, become dissatisfied with the result, then delete everything and start over. And by tendency, I mean I have a serious problem.

I'm a big fan of space and science fiction. Something about the future, and all it's possibilities, have always interested me. I wish I could see what sort of things humanity might achieve in the next couple of centuries, like intergalactic space travel or colonization. I don't like to put a very strong emphasis on romance in my stories, but that isn't to say I don't welcome the idea of romance, just I don't feel like the story should revolve around it. I don't really enjoy focusing on slices of life (not sure if I'm using that term right) either, not unless it helps establish the character.

I'm open to any suggestions and criticisms. I don't have any preference when it comes to PMs or threads. As far as replying goes, I'm fine with going back and forth at least once or twice a week.

The Premise

I've had a particular story in mind for a while now. Like I mentioned earlier though, I'm really interested in meeting somebody to help co-write the settings and plot. I really didn't want to really flesh out the idea any farther than this: the general idea would be the two main characters are newly paired detectives working together on some backwater colony or habitat in order to solve a mysterious series of cases that would all be linked to some religion or shadowy cult. I'm not sure whether or not I'd like for it to be an all-out fantasy-type of RP where we're actually pitted against demons and supernatural foes, if we'd be dealing with just unhinged cultists, or a combination of both.

Bialystok. Jan's family is from there, it's make for an interesting backdrop (plus the lakes that are in Mazuria are amazing). I'd like them to re-equip with Wilk 1A3s, if that is possible- kinda set up their optical cloaking abillities on their exoskeletons.

Sure, sounds good.

@Minime Quick question can the Patton deploy from orbit or would it need to be carried down?

Your choice.

Recon should probably redeploy somewhere in Eastern Poland, specificaly by Warsaw or the other city I mentioned in the post.
Posted.

All mech units may now finally begin landing! Only a day or two behind schedule..
Since their initial deployment, General Rinehart's recon and intelligence assets had been relaying him small tidbits of information, but it wasn't until Warrant Officer Jan Adamczyk and his team sent him the data from the terminal they had secured that he finally was able to grasp the full scale of the other side's plans. Not only would they be invading Poland, but additional forces were also being relocated to launch major offensives all across the European theater. In due time, shortly after taking Poland, everywhere from Norway to Turkey would soon be faced with either bending to CSTO's will or risk fighting the combined forces of Eastern Europe. All of this hinged on the fact NATO had failed to effectively step in during the Polish rebellion and that a sort of domino effect would occur throughout the continent. This, of course, was something General Rinehart was not going to let happen.

Looking over a map detailing enemy troop positions and movement, Rinehart ordered for the insertion of five reinforced line companies of the Task Force. Two of these companies, Alpha and Bravo, would be deploying straight into the city of Bialystok. It was there that the bulk of a primarily Russian army was gathering to push towards Warsaw and crush the now scattered Polish military, who were either preoccupied responding to rebel attacks in other regions of Poland or taking heavy casualties fighting mech-augmented rebels. If Alpha and Bravo company could hit the army fast and hard enough, they could buy the Poles precious time to regroup. The other three companies, Charlie, Delta and Echo, would be landing around the capital itself. This was to halt the assault that was already taking place and to establish a line of defense in the event that Alpha and Bravo company failed to complete their objective. The rest of Task Force Aegis would remain on standby on the station in reserve.

"Scramble some dropships and start relocating our recon teams to the frontlines as well." The General added to his last order.
If you change the background at least, I'd be willing to accept him I suppose.
