Well Alec is already sending up info. More than enough to send in the main squads? The whole Russians have heavy stuff. Send in the clowns at this rate.

Then we'd sort of be dropping people in blindly. No one's gotten the "big picture" intelligence grab I need so far, one that details the overall strategy of the CSTO-Rebel forces and where they're positioned/moving towards.

I'll make another post afer Enalais, to flesh out the intel on the ground- if that's okay. The man they just killed (that officer) was a Captain, so he'll know a lot, no doubt from his files.

Hunter Smith & his Vulture were, as I was planning, supposed to be when Aegis attacks a much larger enemy force, which will undoubtedly happen. While Aegis on its own atm will surely do a good job, air strikes of both the tank buster and of the air-to-air sort would be needed. If there is a heavy walker, heavy as in big, powerful, bigger than anything Aegis has, then while Aegis could do damage to it, it WOULD be safer to have the Vulture to come in and soften it up. This also is supposed to be for against enemy fighters or tank busters that are moving against Aegis mechs- few of these mechs, I think, have surface-to-air missiles specifically designed to chase down and destroy advanced fighters. And, of course, to clear the air of enemy gunships or dropships. The gunship I have I was planning to be using more for anti-mech, not anti-air.

I can change the background, but the air support would just be needed in this situation, when drop-troopers are attacking larger or heavily armored forces, or with better air support.

If you change the background at least, I'd be willing to accept him I suppose.

Oh, actually- I think I know a way that the dropship squadron could get used.Hot extraction from that town that they're in? Imagine an almost Heat-esque situation in that village they captured, and they have to basically hold an extraction site as they end up getting surrounded by local militias in the morning. I'm working away on a post.

I assume all recon units are falling back? ie, are being redeployed from around Lublin to elsewhere, via the dropships?

@Minime Quick question can the Patton deploy from orbit or would it need to be carried down?

Your choice.

Recon should probably redeploy somewhere in Eastern Poland, specificaly by Warsaw or the other city I mentioned in the post.

Bialystok. Jan's family is from there, it's make for an interesting backdrop (plus the lakes that are in Mazuria are amazing). I'd like them to re-equip with Wilk 1A3s, if that is possible- kinda set up their optical cloaking abillities on their exoskeletons.

They'll basically extract under duress, following a very tense extraction via the dropship squadron, with Alec/Amy along for the ride to Warsaw, gear up there, and then move to Bialystok, perhaps via the dropships with a HALO jump of sorts, shall we say.

Well there are three versions of that song Hard corp, Aer veis, and Leviathan

Hard corp is a nickname for the Marines
Aer Veis is air force
and Leviathan is a codename for the entire United States fleet.

Anyone mind if I send my dropship/gunship down? Carrying NPCs, since everyone of PC-ness has already appeared to either be on the ground or about to drop in the Patton or their own mechs.

Which brings to mind, how much of a combat reduction is there if the Patton can carry a load of soldiers down to the surface?
