I realized I never even introduced myself after joining the site. I am checking interest checks to see if there is something I might want to join. It is hard to catch up with ongoing RPs so hopefully there will be something new that I can participate in soon.
Anyway I am a undergraduate student in Computer Engineering department and I regularly play tabletop rpgs (Pathfinder and D&D 5th Edition is what I have played so far) I also play MUDs, which are text-based online rpgs basically. I am not so unfamiliar to play-by-post, I played this type of games during earlier years of high school. However my writing is not that good and I prefer Casual RPs (according to this sites' categories)
I mostly enjoy fantasy games, mostly because I think I cannot manage to write in other genres. I also want to try some sci-fi games that take place in near future.
I am not sure if I will ever find time to join a too active RP since college tasks also keep me busy, so if anyone is planning a slow paced RP I will certainly be interested in such a thing. That being said I am really looking forward to meeting you guys through roleplaying and OOC chats!
Some other stuff that I enjoy if you want to talk about them:
- Anime: Steins; Gate, Gatchaman Crowds, Psycho Pass, Darker Than Black, Neon Genesis Evangelion (just some that come to mind)
- Progressive Rock: And all the other weird rock subgenres. Just ask, I probably heard it.
- Novels: Kingkiller Chronicle: Name of the Wind, Wise Man's Fear, Songs and Swords series in Forgotten Realms, I never was a book nerd, I only picked up books after joining college so I'm pretty new to this.
- Video Games: I like talking about anything RPG. All the Square Enix titles could go here.
- Tabletop: As I mentioned, Pathfinder and D&D 5th Ed. I also GM at Pathfinder Society Events
