I could play a dark side Force user who's gone to a grove in that ruin to brood and meditate after having killed his master. He could be a pure-blooded Sith (of the Sith race) or a Keshiri, although the latter of whom are from the extended universe. I have a heavy preference for the extended universe just because of the greater amount of preexisting lore available, but I'll respect your choice. :)

I do believe Hulu at least has a few seasons. Your tables are safe... for the moment. They don't have the 1994 movie, which is actually the start of the whole thing. So you might want to think about watching that too.

I gleaned a bit of the movie from episode 1. Egyptian mythology, reference to cartouches which were symbols Egyptians put at the front and last of names of people, places, and things to protect them from evil magic, Mark Jackson obviously stayed behind - presumably for one other mission-related reason (like guarding the clear codex of places so that he could monitor its use and protect the rest of the galaxy from humanity coming through to conquer other worlds - if not solely due to falling in love with the woman who ended up getting captured upon the earthlings' return.

Also, that snake armor is something I do not remember, but boy, it makes way more sense as a snake. At first glance, I thought they were supposed to be jackals and the guy in the middle was either Osiris or Anubis, not Ra or Apophis. Little odd though how they tried to make Apophis have a human form, since - unlike Ra - Apophis is supposed to be so chaotic that he HAS no physical form. Perhaps they'll surprise me on that one and Mr. Big Red Snaky really will show up in that form in the Duat (ooooh! wondering if SG1 explains the Egyptian concept of the Duat levels at all in a biological/astronomical way). The Duat river myth could potentially just have been their explanation for SG travel! :p

Although the Egyptian myth of sleeping with a headrest to keep the ba part of the soul anchored to the body might not have any scientific grounds...unfortunately.

Oh yay, Stargate SG1! That thing with the big hot dude with the gold forehead thing. I am gonna go watch that from S1EP1 on now, seeing if I can finally figure out what the hell I was watching occasionally as a kid. If Hulu doesn't have it, I'm gonna flip a table.

The Stargate thingy I may be interested in in about three days to a week after I've emerged from binge watching it (also depending on how far I get).

The gold forehead dude also voiced Kratos in the newest God of War BTW. <3

Hero Guard - A D&D 5e Adventure

Whoa, there was a development! Allowed to kill each other? Elya's heartbeat suddenly increased in thumping from calm assurance to flighty fluttering that she felt sure must be audible somehow. She swallowed, a lump suddenly forming in her stomach. With her size, and her being seemingly unable to transform today, this day suddenly got a LOT more stressful.

Elya attempted to calm down, to center herself, and distract herself with the hope against hope that maybe the general was just joking. Surely this wasn't that kind of event? There had to be some mistake! The guard at the entrance seemed bored and unconcerned, like the event did not include anything more than every day mundane failures. Fighting and injuring seemed fair as a fiddle, but killing? The gnomish druid settled into a running stance, trying with all her might to transform, but whatever it was that was her mental block today held fast and she let out a very bear-like snarl of disgust. Being so short on stature, there wasn't really much she could do except stick to the high ground and stay ahead of the stampede for as long as possible. The barrier in front of her disappeared and she tunnel visioned, pumping her arms and legs as fast as she could without looking back.
