I was moving over a large piece of glass and then suddenly dropped it onto the ground, gasping in pain. A small thin red line ran across my palm, blood slowly dripping from the wound. I tried to heal it, but my magic felt... blocked. It was there, but something prevented me from using it. "What the...? It was working just fine a few moments ago." I mumbled, I looked up. "I'm going to go to the nurse's office and get some bandages, I'll be right back." I said, with that, I walked out and looked for the nurse's office, holding my bleeding hand.

Arin studied the surroundings to see which way he thought would be the best route to go. Turning his attention back to Joe, he said, "What do you think would be the best route?" He asked in order to get his opinion as well as his own.

"Hm... maaaaybe... that a way!" I said, pointing in a random direction. "...On second thought, it might not be the best idea to rely on me for directions." I said, I rubbed the back of my head and chuckled awkwardly. "Hm... maybe..." I muttered, slowly a ball of light filled my hand. "Maybe we can catch someone's attention." I said, I aimed through a small break in the trees and threw the ball of light high into the air above the canopy of trees. Once it got high enough, it flashed brightly and hung in the air for a minute before finally dissipating. "Hopefully someone saw that and we can get out of here." I said.

I looked up from my book as I heard the sound of glass hitting the ground and felt a breeze. The ice window had melted quickly. "H-Huh? W-What's happening?" I asked, getting up. Did Leon's spell not work correctly...? Is someone pulling a prank on us...? I sighed softly and carefully picked up the still cold glass carefully and piled it up onto the dresser on our side of the room, not wanting to have anyone step on it and cut themselves accidentally and then I could just run it all out at once, once I found all of the pieces.

I asked, tilting my head.

I was lying on the ground in the middle of a clearing, sunlight streaming down on my body. I slowly opened my eyes, squinting against the sunlight glaring in my face. "...Nng... where...?" I asked, I slowly sat up and looked around. "A... forest...?" I muttered confused. "Don't tell me I passed out while picking herbs again..." I mumbled, I got up and brushed myself off. I quickly searched my waist for something and sighed in relief as I touched a small leather pouch with a silver clasp. "Whew... that would've been bad if I had lost that." I thought. I reached into the pouch and slowly drew out my bow, a quiver, and a scythe with a black handle and an iron blade. I slung the quiver over my shoulder and slid my bow into a strap in the quiver to hold it. I just held the scythe, resting it on my shoulder. "Now... time to find a way out." I thought, I began to walk through the forest, looking for any signs of civilization. It's strange... I don't remember any part of this forest whatsoever...

History: Ever since Joe was young, he knew that he that he was different from others. He always seemed to have this calming 'aura' about him. Whenever he touched wounds they started to seal. They soon called him a demon and a monster, especially the local churches who had once called him a living miracle when a few... things that he said went against their teachings. He also had a certain way of... telling when people were lying. Joe grew up poor, living with only his mother, but he never envied those that had more than him and he was grateful for the things that he did have.
Other: The only advanced alchemical items that Joe has is a pouch that is linked to a container which he can pull out whatever is contained within. (Which are a few basic healing and attack items.)
