Like Robocop? When he's the bad guy and you're like, Red, no ;n;

Hmm. Seems like they should have ended it the season before then.
Red was great. Whenever I see that actor now, I just think of Red. Kitty was also pretty perfect, though. And I never made it to the last season but didn't most of the main characters take off?
Poor Katniss. It's okay, lil baby, you're going to get out of there.

Jackie was always my fave, haha.
the hunger games are srs bsns, tbh.

just look how serious my Michael Scott is.
Did a plan still qualify as such if the main goal was to keep Katniss in the dark? Haymitch wasn't so sure, but having to lie to Katniss when she was clearly looking for guidance left a bad taste in his mouth. The former Victor didn't imagine that things would be any easier once they reached the arena, which was sure to have unimaginable tortures waiting for them. The hardest part was letting Katniss think that she and all of her friends were going to die, and the helplessness that came from that feeling. Normally, Haymitch was ready with some kind of reassurance, anything to ease the girl's mind and get her back into survival mode, but this time, there was nothing he could do. He didn't want to jeopardize Peeta's plan, and Haymitch could only hope that his relationship with Katniss, and hers with her sister and Gale would still be in tact by the time they escaped the arena.

As Katniss shed her dress and tossed it into the clothes bin, Haymitch did his best not to let his eyes linger on her for too long. They were well past the point of modesty in front of one another, yet all compliments felt rather inappropriate considering the subject matter. As much as Haymitch would have liked to talk about anything, or think about something happier, his mind had been rather goal-oriented since the announcement of the Quell, and it was difficult for him not to give advice when mentoring (no matter how poorly he'd done it at times) had come to be a part of who he was. Again, the temptation to tell Katniss the truth was strong.

After she had changed and joined him on the bed, Haymitch was at a loss for what to do with himself, and he allowed Katniss to take his hand into her own. He looked up into her shale-colored eyes and listened as she spoke. Her job was to stay alive, not worry about him, but no matter how many times Haymitch told her that, Katniss never seemed to listen. She had grown up protecting those around her, and Haymitch supposed that it was foolish of him to think that she would suddenly put herself first. Sighing, he wrapped his arm around her as Katniss pressed herself close to his side, her body warm and comforting as they sat there in the darkened room.

“I can think of worse things to be stuck with,” Haymitch laughed softly before kissing her back. Although his anxiety over the morning wasn't even close to subsiding, being with Katniss helped him to forget. He wished that he could have frozen time and stopped the Games from coming, but as he kissed the girl in his arms a second time, Haymitch realized that this was the next best thing. A selfish life, spent mostly intoxicated was nothing compared to the fleeting months of happiness that he had spent with Katniss. Reaching to cup her cheek, Haymitch deepened the kiss and pulled her closer.

After they had detached themselves from one another, Prim left the room. She could feel her cheeks burning as she crossed the hall and entered her own room, intending to change for the night, but as soon as the door closed behind her, she was leaning back against it. Closing her eyes, the blonde put her head back against the door and took a few deep breaths as she wondered what had come over her. The stress of the games already felt like too much and when things got rough, people tended to stick together. Gale was what Prim knew, and she didn't want to bother Katniss with her worries because the older girl already had enough to think about.

Now that she had calmed some, Prim pushed herself away from the door and reached for the zipper on her dress, which was conveniently located on the side. After getting undressed, Prim found a t-shirt and a pair of shorts to wear to bed before going into the bathroom to wash her makeup off. She was a little sad to see it go when Portia had put so much time and effort into her look, but the task of scrubbing it off in the morning wasn't something that she wanted to deal with. It took a few minutes of working her fingers over her eyes so that she didn't look like a raccoon, but after, the blonde was back to looking like her normal self. She reached for a towel and then released her hair from its braid.

When Prim came back into Gale's room, everything felt normal. It was just another night for them, more time spent at the Capitol and if Prim hadn't known what was coming in the morning, she would have been able to relax without worry. Getting into bed beside Gale, Prim soon found her place in his arms once more. “I don't either,” she replied, happy to hear that he didn't regret what he had gotten himself into—out of all them, Gale was the one who never had to be there. She kissed him back sweetly, much more innocent than the kiss she had left with. “I just wish we could tell Katniss.” Lying was still something that didn't sit right with her, and Prim hated that her older sister thought she was going to die.
Alright.
Will do.
Well, it was in the books and the movie, so I was just asking. I'm pretty sure he helped get Katniss ready. Do what you want with it. Like I said, I was just checking.
Thanks. I'll probably take the names that you listed already and fill them in around districts 9 and 10.

I'll see how it feels. I wasn't planning on skipping but if I find a natural end for their nights then I'll wrap things up. We do have last minute things with Peeta, Gale and Prim but I imagine after breakfast, they're going to be largely on their own until they meet up in the arena and even then, they're not going to be a group of four. Did you plan on messing with Cinna before Katniss goes up to the arena?

And yes! I think that's perfect for him.
Yeah, they do :c It's sad.

And thanks. I couldn't remember and I didn't know which page they would have been on. I'll do some filling in after I get this other post done. They don't have to know everyone but some of those districts are all unnamed and it's bumming me out.
