"Your right, assuming you know everything your opponent can do just by seeing what weapons he uses is a foolish mistake which will lead to your downfall." Leiko replied to Natori's comment, she always felt it was stupid to underestimate your opponent, not that it stoppen Leiko from making that mistake aswell though. Leiko grinned slightly at the boys comment to Momo-chan, she was more then willing to spar with Momo-chan, especially after announching the nickname she had given Leiko. It would feel good to beat her, but realisticly she knew it would be a hard fight since she had the gravity seal on her.
Leiko watched in slight awe as the two boys were fighting each other, they both were better then she had expected. Especially Ryu's attacks were impressive not just because they were effective, but mostly because he was allready able to use three different elemental jutsue on top of his usage of a kekkai genkai. She was sure she heard about that kekkai genkai before, but she thought that the line had died off. But it seems it hadn't, according to rumours it was incredibly hard to kill someone who could use that kekkai genkai, if you then add up the regenerative properties of being a jinchuuriki, then Ryu could turn in to one very powerfull shinobi. Once he masters his kekkai genkai and his powers as a jinchuuriki ofcourse.
Leiko was so wrapped up in watching the two boys spar, it took a few moments for Momo-chan's words to sink in. "Nani??" She exclamed as she turned to look at Momo-chan. "How come she thinks I have a thing for him? I admit he is nice, but that doesn't mean I like, like him." She thought to herself. "I do not have a thing for him." Leiko she said softly to the other girl as she looked away, a hint of anger in her voice, she didn't want the others to hear her. Which seemed unlikely considering the fight that was going on. Taking a moment to compose herself again, she turned to face Momo-chan again. "Besides I am here to become a better kunoichi, not to become some weak fan girl who follows a follish boy around." She continued, slightly louder this time. "I will not make the same mistake as she did, I can't afford to get side tracked." She continued in though, the last few words of Momo-chan didn't reach her as she was too far in to her thoughts to proces them.
Leiko was pulled out of her thoughts as Ryu's jutsu went off in a loud explosion. "Note to self, if I ever fight with Ryu-san I got to get ready for a kwarimi no jutsu when he dissapears underground." She thought to herself as she watched the effects of jutsu and the wounds on Angelo's arms. They looked painfull, but she was sure it would heal quickly though, he was a jinchuuriki afterall. "Why did he want to continue, the fight was over the moment he was unable to dodge that jutsu?" She thought to herself as Angelo got ready to use his needles on himself, she figured it was probably to stop the bleeding. A slight smile appeared on her face as medical ninja appeared and knocked the boy out, which was good since it meant that he would get some treatment for his wounds.
"Ouch, that got to hurt." Leiko chuckled softly as she watched how the ninjutsu instructor effectively ended the fight with his jutsu. "Always." Leiko exclaimed eagerly as the ninjutsu instructer spoke to them, she had been waiting for this moment the entire week. Finally they were going to learn something.
