@NekoMizu Understandable. I tend to go "Greetings" and spend up to thirty minutes constantly retyping what I want to say. So most times I just spit out train of thought process words when I want to be quick. This usually is a good thing. Sometimes it results in random quotes appearing.

@Shoryu Magami
Satanspawn works just as well. I know the trope's usually male but that's also because the Devil is often depicted as male and Jesus/Yeshua himself was male. It's evening here so I'm about to grab dinner. Late, but dinner. I hope you have a wonderful day. I also hope I have a nice night.
@ModeGone
Lol, nice introduction. Always good when people give a lot of information, plus that backstory with your father. That'd make you like the son of the Satan who doesn't do what dad wants; I believe the trope is "AntiAntiChrist". I won't go into the logistics here or how a Satanspawn should or shouldn't have a soul, or what kind of soul it'd be. I think that trope works just fine.

Anyway, welcome to the guild.

Hello and thanks! I tend to have no idea what to say when coming in so I used the stickied thread as a checklist. And actually I'm the daughter of Satan. I want to say he wouldn't care what we do but he did want my brother to be a computer tech-geek like him...

@NekoMizu I feel you. ... Not actually physically feel you but I think you know what I mean. Social-awkwards unite?

It's been so long since I've ever heard anyone mention .Hack//! It's terribly underrated around here.

Since there seems to be no pictures of an angry Goombella on the entire internet, I'll just say this is makes her mad.

It was one of my first anime. //SIGN holds a special place in my heart. The games, meanwhile, took me way too long to find all four releases of IMOQ and the three of GU. It's a great if complicated series.
Note the user name. :P

As for Goombella... well, of course it'd make her mad. But if I do get accepted and if Mr L is running about would she recognize Luigi is Luigi but not acting a thing like Luigi? I'd hope with her Tattle ability she'd suspect he at least looks like Luigi.
@Nikki Moonlight
That's fine. Single-line posts can encourage more rapid-fire rping or can prevent long long posts from making someone feel they are supposed to respond in kind. The later can be quite frustrating if you have trouble making things spread out beyond a few lines sometimes.

Use the @mention button that can be found on the bottom of each reply in a thread to tag someone and give them a notification.

Right, you're the holy satanspawn.

Another forum I go to had automatic @name function. I made an assumption. It was a terrible one.
And I'm not the holy Satanspawn. I'm just... um... less evil?

@ModeGone

awesome intro! Love it! If you want to drop in a PM and roleplay something fantasy I'd be happy to oblige as long as you don't mind one-liners on occasion

Hello Nikki and thanks for the appreciation. What do you mean by one-liners? Brief references to something else, witty quips, or single-line posts?
This looks like fun. *cracks knuckles* Let's get down to business to defeat the Huns.
I may make a second character but for now this will do just fine.

I am ModeGone, Internet Server Extraordinaire.
(... okay too much .hack//)
@NekoMizu Mom inexplicably blacked out the first time the Pope drove by her.
I guess by the time she had me she The Evil within her was passed on to my brother? He didn't get to see the Pope so The Evil could had passed on to him.
I'm still legitimate Satanspawn. I'm just not evil Satanspawn.
Hello Arena!
I have a Soul. It was proven when I didn't burst into flames when the Pope drove by in the Popemobile.
I am ModeGone. A friend of mine showed me this site and encouraged that I join. *waves*

I have been roleplaying for quite some time now. It has been... fifteen years or more? I do not remember exactly when I began but it started out as a way to escape from my frustrations, make new friends, and explore fictional worlds in a way that you cannot with just books or video games. However length does not exactly say how well I have roleplayed especially since the first few places I roleplayed were graphical chatrooms and a few forums' roleplay sections. The quality has varied based on what characters from what series and how familiar I am with either/both, not to mention that I am more accustomed to one-on-one or with small groups (up to five people).

When I was in chatrooms it tended to be rapid-fire posting, though a few groups allowed for story-style. Forums allowed for more thought to be placed into the posts on average but also some threads died out due to lack of activity. I have no real preference over roleplaying styles although I am a bit hesitant to start another long-running roleplay as the last one I did lasted for six years of almost daily posts and after a while it felt more like a job.

Outside of roleplaying I enjoy, as I mentioned, video games and fiction. I grew up with RPGs and Metroidvanias and Platformers but I love a good Puzzle game. Most of my roleplay experience was with these pre-existing fictional worlds with the first three that I can remember being Mario, Sonic, and Digimon. I adore Kingdom Hearts like how you can enjoy a B-movie. The gameplay tends to be rock solid. The plot... heh. If it was a fanfiction it would be a hilariously bad 'crossover' fanfiction that leans more towards an OC protagonist who puts the movies back on the rails, with the Square-Enix characters tend to be used more like OC-standins than true cameos. Just goes to show how a simple change in medium and a well-executed combat system can make something enjoyable.

I loved reading mythology and fairytales growing up. This, coupled with reading classical literature, the Lord of the Rings series, and the works of C.S. Lewis and Lewis Carrol led to a rather odd lexicon that regularly confused people by saying things like "ere" and "fortnight" and other such doggrel. I recently (within a year) got into Tabletop RPGs at long last after failing to find groups in person. So far I have been able to try out FFRPG, Champions, Pokemon Tabletop United, and almost got to try Call of Cthulhu before that group changed tactics. In my spare time I like to toy with programs such as Rainmeter, try my hand at video game creation to the point that I semi-regularly join up with a Game Dev Night group, and find new musicians to listen to through Bandcamp.

At this time I cannot think of anything else to say so...
Oh.
Uh. The title I chose...
My father would regularly claim to be Satan. He had a whole litany. "[He's] Satan, [Mom's] the Bride of Satan, [I'm] and [my] brother are the Spawn of Satan. [I was] built in the basement, [my] brother hatched from an egg. [He had] been around since the time the Dinosaurs roamed the Earth." Whenever I'd call him out on it he'd get this sly grin on his face and say "Would I lie to you~?" The answer was always a flat "yes."
It was a joke of course but he would claim that a lot. Hence "legitimate Satanspawn".
