ModeGone — Roleplayer Guild

I've been working on two possibilities after narrowing down my list.  I know I can't have both at this time.  These are both being posted as I'm not sure which to pick at this time and they probably need some further adjustments.

Written Description
A broadly-built bipedal furred Monster whose two large floppy ears and two upward-curving horns poke out of a mane-like head of gold-blond hair.  Outside of wearing his armor and regalia for formal affairs Asgore is often seen wearing bright pink or floral-pattern shirts and some manner of denim or khaki shorts.  In spite of his caprine and leonine appearance the king looks as gentle as a lamb due to his softly smiling face.

Personality
An affable and kindhearted being whose emotions are felt with all his heart and soul.  This is good as he is a very loving father and husband but also his bane as regret and sorrow have plagued him for countless years.  Duty too is a double-edged sword.  He will do what he can for his charges and try to keep them all happy and safe but once he promises something for them he cleaves to it in spite of all reluctance.

With Toriel's abrupt departure the same night they lost their children Asgore came to view the golden flowers as the last tangible piece of his family and a final gift from their little angels.  A whimsical desire of spreading them throughout New Home Castle became an obsession, the evidence of his grief overlooked by his subjects as it was well known that Asgore loved flowers.  In fact he was known to absent-mindedly snack on flowers from his garden before explaining why the old goat thought nothing of it when his kids gave him a slice of pie with flower petals baked inside.  Now that the Barrier is gone he is more careful in watching what seeds he plants.

Current Story
With the Barrier gone and the Underground going empty, Asgore Dreemurr abdicated his throne.  Or rather he tried but no one took him seriously as Monsters still turn to him for aid and guidance.  The old king lent use of both his new home by the foot of the Mountain and the Castle of New Home for those unable to find affordable housing but not wishing to remain in the Underground for another second or those too terrified to leave just yet respectively.

Overtures were made to amend his broken relations with Toriel but they have been met with disproving frowns and chilly words.  He happily signed Frisk's adoption papers as it made both Frisk and Toriel very happy and as a peace offering gave Frisk seeds of Toriel's favorite flowers.

Frisk was long gone by the time rumors of the Corruption reached his ears.  In spite of the child being lauded as a hero and saviour to all of Monsterkind and being accompanied by a friendly fellow, Frisk is still a child and may be still a child for quite some time to the Dreemurrs' eyes.  Asgore put his affairs in order and set out to offer whatever aid he could to the greater Kingdoms.

Weapon
Floral Trident - A brilliant red curved trident with a golden flower etched near where the prongs meet the shaft.  The weapon is magic in nature and as such it is effected by his Resolve.

Strengths
1. Master Dodger - As a certain fish can attest, Asgore is far fleeter of foot than he looks even when burdened by both platemail and his apparent bulk.  In spite of this he can be taken by surprise.  Especially when he is not expecting an attack.
2. Pyromancy - His innate magic expresses itself as flames be it meager sparks or burning spheres.  This does not mean master of fire itself and he can be burned by fire not under his control.
3. Resolve - The greater his own intent to fight, the stronger his magic-based attacks can be.
4. Experienced - Asgore has spent many years refining his skills.  Leadership, gardening, and cooking to name a few.

Weaknesses
1. Mystic Body - Due to his nature as an Ebottian Monster, true malicious intent can cause physical attacks to bypass all magically treated materials and deal grievous harm to his body.
2. Resolve - This also means that the less he is willing to fight the less harm his own attacks inflict.
3. Earthbound - Unlike some types of Monsters Asgore cannot fly or float.  Even if he can swim Asgore cannot breathe underwater or swim in lava.

Visual Description


Written Description
Luigi possesses a runner's build - tall and slim, wiry.  He has chestnut hair to his twin's dark brown and Luigi's eyes are a brighter shade of blue.  The mustache, on the other hand, is a dark brown - almost black - and impeccably neat.  Typically he is seen wearing denim overalls with rough long-sleeved green shirts, worn blue workshoes, and pristine white gloves which are much tougher than they look.  When not in his work-clothes Luigi favors green and white clothing.  His shirts occasionally have stars or lightning bolts emblazoned on them and he has a peculiar fondness for brightly colored striped socks.

Personality
Luigi is both relieved and frustrated by constantly being in his brother's shadow.  At times he is nervous, terrified of the spotlight and the danger that comes from heroism.  Others he is a braggart trying to get the fame and attention he justly deserves for braving the same if not more threats than the constantly lauded Mario.  In spite of it all Luigi loves his brother dearly and will lend a hand at the slightest request.

But would it kill everyone to remember his name let alone that he even exists?

When his brother disappeared Luigi became frantic.  The last times Mario was Missing it involved Bowser and thievery or mansions and Boos.  The news of a multiversal corruption has only worsened his worries.

Hammer - A useful all-purpose tool.  When he has it everything might as well be a nail.  Whether it is wood or metal it is amazingly durable.

General Abilities
Totemic Magic - Also known as "Power Ups", Luigi can tap into the magic of various items and wield a measure of their power temporarily.  Frequent use of Fire Flowers seem to have left an imprint as occasionally possessing Fireball magic.  Thunderhand while similar is by virtue of a god's blessing.

Strengths
1. Swift Athlete - Luigi is leaps ahead of Mario's jumps, faster on foot (if slower to stop), and a swifter swimmer.  He can handstand on treetops and vault from them, leap upward along walls, and even briefly sprint on water.

2. Durable - Boy howdy can this man take a beating.  Explosions, falls, massive iron Chomps to the face, electrical shocks, and more!

3. Skilled - Whether it is plumbing, driving karts, playing sports, working as a doctor, or even creating personal mechas.  No one can rightfully say that Luigi lacks skills to pay the bills.

4. Kindhearted Pushover(?) - He may be called a coward but when the push comes to shove Luigi will help anyone who asks.  Doubly so if it is a pretty Princess but like many heroes he can't seem to not help an innocent or civilian.  Even if the civilian is a bit of a jerk about it...

Weaknesses
As a somewhat baseline human with totemic magic at his call, Luigi cannot naturally fly, breathe underwater, or walk on lava.  His speed is also often his bane as he is slower to slow down.

Terrified of ghosts and Boos.  The fear abates when something vitally important takes precedence or when in the company of a trusted friend or ally.

But unlike Link those are absolutely completely different beings from series to series with completely different power-sets and different types and levels of technology involved.  Disregarding the difference between Rock and X (and the fact that X is more of Rock's brother who later became a Cyberelf in Zero and then there is Copy X who is his clone), Volnutt is a hyperadvanced human-like android far past the Zero and ZX timelines.  The ZX timeline itself has personalities of Zero-timeline beings such as X and Copy X (and sort of maybe Rock himself) stuffed into hypertech henshin devices.  Mega Man Battle Network is a parallel timeline where Rock is a Tron-style program with a twin human brother who he sometimes merges with.  Like X there is a later not-Rock named Rock who also is able to merge with a human (who is the EXE's twin's descendant) but this is how Mega Man is formed in that point of time.

Then there's the Evil Timeline Megamen we have Quint and Rockman Shadow.  Evil copies of Megaman such as Mega Man? and maybe Shadow Mega Man.

If we include all the other Mega Man named character we also have Juno in Legends and all the other Biometal users in ZX.

I do understand about fusing different versions of the same character together but these are different beings altogether.
