Interested! Can i get more information on the two characters? Will it be a situation of playing like a Joel and Ellie? Are they a part of a premade canon or will I be creating them if you decide to go with me?

*Edit*

The wind was ripe with different odors that penetrated Dash’s nostrils with ever wisp he took with his 3DMG. He was able to define a few every time he landed on top of a different building and had to a chance to slow down to the pace of his own gait. One of a dinner still cooking sullied with the rankness of bowels involuntarily released on top of the next, and at present what he assumed was death or at least blood. These weren’t smells he was familiar with, but knew today was just the beginning of long…wishfully thinking at least long career in the military before him. Only if he makes it through today, only if he still gets to graduate.

As if for exclamation the clomping of two 5 meter titans feet almost made him trip over his own natural cadence. They had been following him a few blocks now, taking notice of him after devouring a small group of cadets he didn’t remember ever actually meeting during their training. Made him think of the friends he would lose today, or those who may lose him if he didn’t think of something quick.

They were moving parallel to one another the buildings Dash resided on acting as a divider between their stomping grounds. The one to the right had a cherub face with a quizzical countenance as if it was confused about its natural instinct to only want to eat and destroy what to them may have looked like miniature clothed titans scattering away from it. The other on the left had a horrifying adult head oversized for its body grinning from ear to ear in pursuit.

Dash got the view of the two as he reached the last building on the row leaping off in stride yet spinning himself to face the two smaller behemoths. He was remembering he studies of the district, and if correct he knew the architect of these buildings was keen on including a window from the kitchen that overlooked the streets that a mother could watch her playing children from.

The Titans were converging on his position in the air both simultaneously catching up and twisting their bodies in an attempt to paw at the snack in the air. Dash squeezed the triggers on his blades tight firing the hooks of his 3DMG into the sides of someones home. The connection was made and the follow through yanked Dash back from their grasps, and slingshotting him through the window into the home. His momentum sent him rolling into an eat in dining set which he toppled over like a bowling ball into pins. A screaming pain rushed through his back until he realized the aches and bruises weren’t audible instead it was the mother, with her children who once played in the street, hiding behind a couch in a living room attached to their living room.

Dash pushed himself up from the ground trying to hush them as quietly as he could as if to lead by example. Why the hell had they not evacuated? Why would they think a couch in their home could block them from a Titan. “Why the hell did you you lead them here?!” the Mother cried out snapping Dash’s focus back from his inner inquisition. The titans outside had began peering inside the windows of the homes bedrooms of the second floor, shaking the foundation of the building as they rested their limbs atop of it to find the best vantage point for their oversized eyes.

It would be just moments until they contorted their ghoulish frames to peer into ground floor, where they’d find what they’re looking for. Dash had put this family into more danger than they left themselves exposed to by staying there. He lead these titans here, and he would need to lead them away. Dash wasn’t sure if it was his adrenaline or sense of guilt that mask the pain in his back, but it allowed him to make a break for the front door her spotted leading him to the street and between the legs of the adult like titan that was on the left. Dash propelled himself atop the building across the pavement as quick as he could. The Titan creating an archway to the home had not quite noticed. But the baby faced one had, without any sense of restraint it began trying to crawl its way towards him. Crushing down on the home Dash just left causing it to buckle under its weight and collapse. Collapse ontop of the family Dash had just exposed it to. The adult Titan fell in with the building not being coordinated with it cherub counterparts pursuit. leaving them both hindered but the remains of a crushed home beneath them.

This certainly wouldn’t stop them, they would certainly regain their faculties and be after Dash again in moments. They were relentless, he would need to move quick. He would need to an exit rout, they would be ontop of him in moments. They were allowing him to think of all this for way too long, did they develop the ability to toy with their prey? What was taking them so long? Why in the hell was he not taking advantage of the opportunity?

They found the family.

Dash had believed the family would have been killed as their home came down around them and that was horrifying enough. They weren’t that lucky. The Cherub held the mother in it’s hand, and the Adult with the kids in it’s, one in each.

Dash began to think of how he could dispatch of the titans and save the family he endangered. The adult was closest to him, and had no means of defending itself against him, but the position of the cherub would be difficult to get around in time, and would notice him again as soon as he made a move anyway. He wasn’t that good, he could think of a million strategies if he had just one other trained cadet of any rank with him, but in this instance he was alone, and he could only save the children.

He would save this children, leaving them with a destroyed home, and without parents unless their father was somewhere out there, but where, and how would they ever get back to him, would they even be able to escape the cherub clutching their mother if he did? They would be alive…

Dash’s thoughts escaped him, with the draw of his 3DMG he triggered it and once again he was whipped into the air, to a building clicks away. He floated thoughtless for a moment, a moment that should have brought him peace, but it was the silence of surviving, and the silence was not guiltless. The pain in his back remained masked but was replaced with pang in his heart. His tears fell behind him in them the reflection of the scene he fled now a few clicks behind him.

His view was replaced with the gathering of some of the top cadets and some of the less ranked but just as recognizable faces of the 108th. If only just one of them was with him moments ago… his last tear fell behind him and he whisked himself towards them. The wind dried his face and eyes before he reached them, but an odor lingered in his nose, a smell he was now and forever would be certain was blood and death. He landed on a knee behind the group speaking as he came to his feet, “We have to do what we can, and we need to do it soon.”

Yes Strawberry, staying rank three was my intention in changing my stats a bit. Thanks :)
I think i will also edit some of my stats to reflect my rank, wasn't quite as sure what would be appropriate yet, but to be number 3 i may need to measure up a bit more with the rest of you. If thats okay, I'm just going to edit my original post. If theres any dispute just let me know Strawberry.
Sounds good to me! just excited to start...I do want to ask thought, will we probably interact with alot of the canon in this time?
Yay, now I don't feel nearly as bad about errors in my CS post due to exhaustion. Beginning to review and edit now however, so if you have yet to read it, you will not notice my mistakes.

Edit: Edited! hopefully its pretty acceptable now!
(PS I know this is high casual so I plan to go back through and re-edit this again, i sometimes tend to miss somethings when i'm as tired as I am now, but i was motivated to get something up. I can't wait to start. Again please any feed back is welcome, and if there is a wish for any personal relationships with my character just pm me and we can coordinate and edit accordingly, especially if anyone wants to kind of fill a role placed in my history. Can't wait to get started with you guys!)

Name: Daschiel “Dash” Grissom
Age: 15
Cadet Graduate Rank: 3
Appearance: Raven black hair, that he keeps relatively short on the sides, but a little grown out on top that he slicks back. His mother always styled it that way. Its more work than he prefers but its another thing he can do to try and maintain some of the normalcy from before the fall of the walls and his enlistment. 5’11, athletic lean build, he was a chubbier child but came into his body as he grew. The extra weight stretched out proportionate to his height. His strong brow, hangs ever so slightly above his eyes that make them average in size with a slight squint, however they are the most noticeable thing about him when light illuminates his hazel irises. He develops a furl on his brow often when he is in deep thought…which is almost all the time. His nose is a slim divider of his faces symmetry and is almost like an arrow to his mouth. A slight underbite to his lips can be attributed to a strong and square jaw that is a bit elongated creating a more mature look than his age would imply. Since joining the cadets it would be rare to see him out of his uniform. Since joining the Survey corps he has accented his uniform with the standard issue green cloak and hood, but also a green bandana which was made from an evenly cut strip of cloth cut from his issued cloak which makes it shorter in length than when issued. He almost got in trouble for the accessory but was able to convince the C.O. it was an attempt to combat dust and debris from effecting his vision or breathing when riding a horse during assignments or maneuvering through the air with his omnidirectional equipment.

Personality: Dash likes to think he is a amiable person, but his personality reflects his natural abilities. He is constantly observing, and analyzing but amongst people it can make socializing kind of difficult. In a word, he’s neurotic. He enjoys interaction amongst his fellow cadets but he is always looking for the correct or most beneficial course of action amongst them all which generally just makes it awkward and worse at times portrays him as unauthentic in his compassion for others, which couldn’t be more untrue.

History:
The Grissom family lived in the Mitras district. Colin, Dash’s father was a merchant who often traveled to sell his wares. Many men worked for Dash’s father and when they came of age so did his two older brothers, David and Dolph. Dash was young and fairly uninterested in his fathers work. His brothers mostly teased him about it saying he was the runt of the litter which at the time he was, but also that he wouldn’t be able to join the family business even when the time did come. Dash’s mother, Elara, would often admonish them saying that Dash’s future may just be brighter but also that they should only hope that Dash’s disinterest remained or else in time they would be answering to him within the family business. Dash only showed a disinterest in the business and did not idolize his father as his brothers did because he was not informed at all of it’s ongoings. He knows what he was told but in truth had no idea what his father actually did, or what his “wares” even were. In hindsight was it his place to even be curious? He was well fed and provided for and encouraged to explore any endeavor he fancied.
Dash’s father and brothers were slated to go on a long trip to provide support to refugee’s in some of the other districts. He listened to the whispsers of the adults around him, their disbelief in the titan attacks, or the blatant ignorance of those effected simply due to their unfortunate residence amongst the other walls. Elara decided she would help herself by providing refuge to a family while the men, excluding Dash, were away on their good will trip.
The “family” that joined them in their home was once a large farming family, topping out at 7 members. The father had worked for his father many times in the past, but out of that 7 only the mother and their youngest daughter joined the mirroring remnants of his own. Dash was astute however and he could immediately detect the difference. Dash and his mother expected the rest of their family to return. Their visitors exhibited no such expectations, not even hope.
Dash became as friendly as he could to the girl of about his same age now living with them, but she was variably introspective, and rightfully so. There were good days and bad days. His mother’s attempt with her mother yielded the same results.
A few years later the solitary return of his brother David thinned the divide between the two family’s fortune. David would barely speak upon his return and was escorted to the family home by the Military police. His mother was informed that their father and her middle child Dolph were missing. Before becoming a recluse to his room in their home, in their father's house, David provided one message to Dash and Dash alone. In staggered words he exclaimed, “Father said he would protect us. He said he had to stay for Dolph, that he would protect Dolph until he could recover. He said for me not to try and comeback for him, not to send any of our men back for him.” Dash interrupted his brother, “For them, David.” David’s eyes went wide and his mouth dropped with a surprised awe. He hesitated with his next words, “So maybe thats why, little brother, he said you and only you could be the one to bring them home.”
David pushed Dash out of his room shortly after, and did not repeat what he said to anyone including Dash ever again. A year past this way and while their newly adopted family that somehow grew closer to them due to now shared tragedy got a little better, David’s condition just deteriorated.
Dash developed a sense of purpose in this time, however in secret from his mother who would have surely tried to talk him out of his intentions. The only person he shared his brothers proclamation with was his now best friend Amelia, the young girl who he had now experienced so much with. He devised a plan to leave and join the Military and the scout regiment to find his brother and father, as he was informed only he could. He was relying on Amelia to explain to their mothers after he was already gone. She didn’t want him to go however, so she foiled his plot by informing his mother the night before he planned to depart. His mother had packed the things that she wanted him to take and waited for him outside the house. She hugged him firmly and kissed him on the forehead. Crying she bestowed her faith within him, faith he did not expect, and ordered to him, “Bring them back, pup, bring them back.”

Offensive Skill: 7/10
Defensive Skill: 8/10
Strategic Skill: 10/10
Teamwork: 6/10

Weaknesses: With the ability to think thoroughly and analytically he can hash out effective means strategies on the fly, but sometimes he over thinks creating hesitation so in battle situations this could be a crippling fault.

Skills Unique to Your Character: Titanshifter, Technology Buff (He’s very astute to the inner working of machines. Been looking for a way to improve upon the omnidirectional equipment ever since he received his own set, currently no results.)

Titan: Dash’s titan form is 15 meters, most of his human features remain prominent but warped within a more ferocious and predatory version. His hair is now completely gone on the sides of his head and only a thick slick strip of his hair runs flat down the middle like a stylish mohawk being wider at the front of his cranium and sliming to a point at the end. His pronounced brow becomes a bit more primitive and where his eyebrows were bone protrudes horizontally. His eyes glow a deep and haunting amber, much how they do in his human form but as if a light was permanently placed within them. The nose mirrors his human form but scrunches when his mouth is opened due to its wide and seemingly profound gait. His teeth mostly sharp, especially his canines, are visible to where they meet the hinge of his jaw. Skin is there when he first titanshifts but is ripped open with the first opening of his mouth. His chin like his eyebrows are coated in bone and as well as his elbows and knees further down which are both slightly elongated creating a bit of a sharpness and point to them. The rest of him maintains a human like appearance as much as a Titan can.
