Viral wasn’t sure about the hammock at first, in fact he was quite nervous that it would simply cause him to fall while he slept and only lead to further pain and quite a lot of stress. He didn’t want to end up having a heart attack because the hammock fell. There was a terribly high chance of that happening, but he had to trust Aito to create an effective hammock that he wasn’t going to hurt himself in. Sighing as he lay down on his front he moved his arms around, twitching when June touched his hair before he let out a groan, annoyed that he couldn’t stop her in this position. “’Force of habit’…you’ve barely been here…” He didn’t know what that meant seeing how she hadn’t been around in so long so it surely couldn’t be that much of a big habit. Shifting onto his side he closed his eyes, trying to drift off to sleep and forget about the pressure he felt earlier.

Shu didn’t understand why Takeshi would trick him, he thought it was perfectly fine to give him a surprise after all he had been through. He wanted something and he wasn’t going to stop bugging Takeshi until he got it, moving onto bounce around him. Takeshi had to be lying to him about the lie if his suspicions were anything to go by. Takeshi would never tell him something like that if he wasn’t kidding him on. Squeaking as he bounced around he stopped when Takeshi put his arm around his shoulders, his eyes staring up at him with curiosity as he revealed what it was that he had been planning if possibly only a little thing was elsewhere. “Then why we come all the way over here…?” Feeling rather confused yet excited he followed after Takeshi, giving Yumi and T’charrl a quick wave before continuing his little trot along. “Why do you have surprise out in the city? I don’t understand why walk here then back again…”

T’charrl looked back to see Shu and Takeshi head off, giving a little smile before he sighed, lowering his head. He hoped he hadn’t scared them off, but then that was his own slight paranoia that he had chosen the route to only talk to Yumi over them too. Not knowing what he was feeling guilty over exactly he sighed and focused on Yumi, watching as she went around and looked through some books for him. He was nervous already, he wasn’t really aware of what she might challenge him with but judging by the books she was looking at he had every reason to be nervous. Watching the books go flying he slowly looked away, hoping she wasn’t going for the really difficult ones before she finally returned, shifting on the spot a little as he peered over to get a look at the book before taking it from her. “Out loud? Oh, oh no…” he spoke, opening it up into the middle and giving it a peering at. If there was one thing he wasn’t particularly good at it was reading and speaking aloud. “Oh, uhhh…t-that one is ‘the’. The…umm…the pat-the pay-uhh…ohh no, I’m so bad at this”, he mumbled, letting out a groan, “Another one, umm…’they gat-they gath-they’...uhh, can you read a sentence for me and then I read it?”
@AlexStarsion Haha, it would be very bad for Cecil if someone noticed he was a Machina considering he's too real looking, like you could touch him and his skin would feel like real skin.

Except if he got cut his inner workings would be exposed.
That is correct! People just assume he's from the city where tech like limb replacements isn't a strange sight.
T’charrl smiled happily, raising his shoulders. “Oh, uhhh y-yes! I’ll keep trying to get better. I don’t want to fall behind too much. I really want to be able to talk to everybody properly”. There was a lot of thinking that came when he was trying to speak their language so he probably sounded slow to them a lot of the time, but at least he was still trying hard to keep up. He didn’t want people feeling awkward around him because he couldn’t keep up. Staring at Yumi as she decided that she should go for a walk he tilted his head when she offered, smiling as he took her hand and slowly shifted to stand up. “Oh, thank you. Maybe a walk will help…”

Shu didn’t know what Takeshi was going to treat him to, feeling rather excited over the possibility that it was going to be something fun. He hadn’t had much fun since his little identity crisis so it would be nice to get out of that for now and onto something fun. Smiling happily as he waved his hands in the air at Takeshi’s hand he soon got out of his seat too, staring up at Takeshi hopefully. He was certainly hoping he was going to have some fun, otherwise there was no real reason for him to get all excited. Bouncing off his chair he smiled happily at Takeshi, watching him clean up before bouncing after him to catch up.

Viral was pretty fed up and seeing the others start to head off made him feel somewhat relieved, preferring to be alone over anything. He was certain they just wanted to see him to be annoyed at them all the time. It wasn’t that he didn’t like company, there was just a time and a place for it and while he was feeling like this he definitely preferred to be alone. Managing to stand up at least he froze when June took his paw, his eyes quickly looking down at it before to he sighed heavily, looking away in embarrassment. “I’m not a child. You are just aiming to embarrass me as much as possible, aren’t you…”

----

Viral was the least bit impressed at the weather remaining as it was with everything seeming to be perfect for sleeping outside, of course that meant the hammock plan was going to go ahead. He didn’t know how to sleep in a hammock, at least from experience he didn’t know. He had seen it done before, but it looked difficult and hard to get out of once you were in. Frowning at the sight of Aito running off to get it all set up he kept quiet where he was, looking like he was concentrating on not falling down. Once the hammock was completed he glanced to June before letting out a sigh, tilting his head back slightly. “I’ve got a feeling it’s going to collapse…” Slowly walking around it he frowned at the sight of it, shifting it with his hand before he made a jump into it, looking panicked at first as it rocked around before sighing and laying down in it. It seemed stable enough but he was still a little nervous about it, even with him feeling rather tired. “…Well…it didn’t collapse…”

Shu was pretty on board for this surprise, feeling all sorts of excited over it even though he had no idea to what it was. Squeaking away to himself he bounced on his toes, staring up at Takeshi anxiously until he knelt down before him. Rubbing his hands together he gasped when Takeshi basically said they were going to do what they were doing before. “Ooh, day off? Play and explore?” he spoke, tilting his head before he looked around, “Explore and play! Play…oooohhh, that’s no surprise at all! You silly”. Shu was really feeling confused but he was down to it, giving Takeshi a big smile before he bounced around him. He did like doing those things but he was looking for something special. “What we do??”

T’charrl couldn’t help but feel a little awkward, what with him being all alone with Yumi. He didn’t know what to say to her or how to approach the silence with talking. He really was bad at this socialising thing which certainly managed to make him feel a little depressed. He wanted to be good at making friends, not leave them to make all the decisions for him. Scratching at his chest a little as he sat by himself he gasped when Yumi approached him, staring at her as she crouched down in front of him. It was nice of her to approach him like this and the idea of lessons sounded somewhat appealing, giving her a smile as he nodded. “That sounds nice of you, thank you. I didn’t really know what I was going to do in the time left today before I have to go back for a check-up…” Hopefully he was going to show how intelligent he was and not that he was good at repeating other people’s habits. Being given the decision he stared at her for a moment, eventually raising his shoulders. “Reading sounds like a good idea. I am getting better at it! I hope I’m getting better at it…I-I mean, I’ve been practicing and I hope I’m better at it. Maybe you can say if I don’t do very good while showing me big words?”
T’charrl smiled happily at Yumi, feeling rather pleased with himself. He didn’t have many guidelines other than how people acted around him or whether Vegeta wanted to talk to him about it rather than teach him some more things. “I have been putting my all into it. I mean…it’s mostly all I have to learn. Everything else I don’t know how to solve yet”. He hadn’t been slacking on his own power struggle for no reason, he just didn’t know what he was supposed to do to make everything better for him. His abilities were very difficult to control and were strange, an example of the strange coming from Yumi’s confusion over what his Otherworld portal conjuring involved. Smiling nervously he slowly rubbed his neck, gradually looking away as he could only feel embarrassed. Sighing lightly he stared at the table, wondering if he should keep quiet about his abilities before Yumi managed to break his thought process by announcing she was going for a walk. “Huh? Uhhh o-okay. I shouldn’t eat anymore so I’ll just wait”, he spoke, looking to the others briefly, “I can’t really walk very well so I’ll stay here”.

Shu smiled at Takeshi, nodding quickly as he smiled happily. “Eat from trees too! Fruit is really yummy”. He didn’t really eat many bugs so using a stick or something wasn’t a common thing, plus Takeshi hated the thought of him eating bugs. He wouldn’t eat any strange bugs from this world considering a lot of the animals were very dangerous, not unless he knew there was nothing poisonous. Seeing Viral not look terribly fantastic he couldn’t help but worry for him, but then again he looked like he was very tired. He was still worried for him, it was weird seeing Viral so tired during the day. Looking back to Takeshi who decided to make plans for them he squeaked at the thought of a surprise, bouncing on his seat happily. “Ooh! I like surprises! Well I mean I don’t know yet because I don’t get many surprises, but I like them when they happen!” he smiled, thinking it over only briefly, “Will I like the surprise? Is it a good surprise? It’s not a bad surprise, is it?”

Viral let out a groan, rubbing his forehead. “A skylight wouldn’t do anything if it’s pouring with rain…” Whatever would do fine, anyway. He wasn’t going to feel terrible if it started raining, he would just get wet and that was it. He cared very little about his state of health regarding rain and was just wanting to get on with everything. Frowning when June decided to declare them all finished up, watching as she stood up and decided that they should go back to the house anyway. Letting out a groan he slowly stood up, taking a moment to collect himself before standing up straight. If they all had to head back then he wasn’t going to complain, it was probably for the best anyway. He hadn’t received many answers and he was so tired that he didn’t know how he was supposed to manage walking all the way back.
T’charrl smiled as he looked away, feeling somewhat embarrassed by this kind of talk. “You do? Oh, uhh, thanks. I think it’s interesting how other beings talk, I mean, you all have so many more, uhh…uhh…vowels than my language”, he spoke slowly, trying to think as to whether it was the right word out of the two he was taught for a second, “My voice is okay too, right? I’ve been practising how to talk better”. He really did like to learn how to improve himself but he sometimes wondered if he was annoying people by asking for feedback on his speaking skills and if they really did like talking to him. He didn’t know if he was fine or if they were just being polite, but Yumi sounded sincere so hopefully he was getting better. He tried practising Takeshi’s way of speaking at first, but that seemed to annoy him so trying to imitate others seemed like the better option.

Smiling happily at his improvements in both speech and social skills T’charrl got confused when Yumi instead asked how far away the Otherworld was rather than how he might be able to communicate with it. He didn’t really know how to explain it to her other than go with the plan of saying how he did it rather than how far away it must be. “Uhh, I don’t know. I pull my spirit out of my body and use it as an image…talking…thing”, he spoke, trying to explain what he meant with hand gestures around his eyes, “I guess in that sense I would have to…pull my spirit out and make it go to another place. I only know how to do the afterlife because spirits go there when you die sometimes so I guess I force death on myself to do it…except I can still move my body because of my abilities. I-It’s hard to explain, I mean…I don’t know where Otherworld is either”.

Viral didn’t know what to do about June’s constant attention whether he should just go with it or if there really was a reason for him to try and ignore her pushing to get him to do stuff he wasn’t comfortable with. He knew he had to do these things, but now wasn’t the time or place to be sleeping. He had much more on his mind and to be sleeping now was probably just going to give him some pretty bad nightmares. Slowly rubbing his chest he kept his eyes off June, sighing tiredly as he tried to focus on staying awake. He disliked the idea of putting everything off just to get eating and sleeping properly again, he could do those things at any point in his life but if he stopped training he would just get lazy and remain subpar. Gasping lightly when June slammed her fist into her hand he glanced over to her, staring at her before letting out a groan. “You’re way too enthusiastic about the thought of me sleeping. With my luck it’ll probably start pouring with rain by the time all that’s set up…”

Shu didn’t mind if he wasn’t completely getting the hang of it, he did use his hands differently than everyone else so adjusting was going to take time. He did try to please Takeshi at least, even if he wasn’t comfortable with the notion of using cutlery. Smiling up at Takeshi he tilted his head before sighing, looking back to his plate. “I’ve only used them a few times and all the times was with you”, he spoke, tilting his head a little bit as he looked back to his food before proceeding to shovel his food again. If he was going to do anything with the fork he was going to do what he was comfortable doing and that was using it like a spoon. The food was fairly tasty and after today he felt he could use it as a distraction. Making a stop after getting a look at Viral Shu slowly inched closer to Takeshi, mumbling. “Mister Viral no look too good. What we do after food now?”
T’charrl had been told about candy and had been recommended it several times, but he hadn’t been able to eat some sometime. It sounded like something he would enjoy as well as all the other sweets he had been told about. “I just sometimes wonder if I’m saying silly things, is all. I don’t want people to get bored of me if I talk too much that is silly. The more I talk, the more I feel I just annoy people”. It was going to be great having all of these things to please him when he visited Earth again, but something he would need to consider would be seeing if this form of his was more acceptable among the natives there. He wasn’t as big as he was before not to mention he looked more like himself so maybe he was going to be able to pull it off this time. He was quite excited with the thought of travelling and it wasn’t as if he had big commitments to deal with at home either, people barely knew he existed after all. “What would be very nice is if we could travel faster. Funny how I can open a portal into the afterlife but I can’t open a portal to another world. My spirit can only stretch so far, I suppose”.

Shu didn’t really understand why he had to comply with their eating habits when they weren’t his. He didn’t see what the big problem was or why it was such a negative thing to eat with his hands like nature intended. Shovelling the food into his mouth he stopped when Takeshi pointed out his eating habits once again, staring at him before looking at his fork. He didn’t understand what the problem was but if he was doing it wrong then maybe he should change that. Staring at Takeshi curiously as he demonstrated how the fork works he looked to his own fork before slowly stabbing at the food, watching it slide of at first before giving it another go as he instead licked it off gently as to not bite the fork. He managed somewhat if by somewhat he got the food in, but it was a lot slower than shovelling. Seemingly satisfied that he had managed he bounced on his seat. “Ooh! I did it, yes? It’s really hard”.

Viral stared at June when she tried to make him feel better about going to sleep, but he really didn’t feel any sort of comfort when that would only mean someone would have to be watching over him and that would be rather creepy. Trying to get on with the worst part of the day though he did try to eat until he felt he couldn’t eat anymore without gagging much to his disappointment, especially when he enjoyed eating before all this. It just got him sweating and feeling aggressive, easily the first warning signs that he might turn on them in his head. Struggling to come to terms with his own nature he did try to express it to June but with the hopes that he might be able to figure out what to do with himself, but unfortunately that left him questioning what he might do now. It all seemed so vague, certainly making him fear for his existence in the future if he couldn’t find something worth fighting for. Frowning as she continued rubbing his back he soon sighed at the suggestion of a nap again, rubbing his forehead. “I’m not going to do that in public…” he grumbled, removing his hand, “I can’t be fighting all the time either. We always try to avoid fighting, yet everyone trains and continues to get better. I’m expected to sit around all day until a fight comes along, then lose horribly. I can’t fix my mistakes if there’s no way for me to fix them. I gave up trying to fix things a long time ago, so this isn’t any different”.
T’charrl felt like he was possibly being a little inappropriate and getting a little too deep into the way his kind worked, but he didn’t mean to either. He wasn’t sure what she meant by that at first but hearing her give a comparison he didn’t fully understand maybe he was being a little too literal. “I’m sorry, I don’t really know what cotton candy is. I-I’m also sorry if I’m not making much sense too”. He didn’t know if anything that he said was being taken in by the others, only that he was trying to understand and not really getting anywhere fast. He figured they probably wouldn’t want to talk about his kind when it was probably just gross to them. He did want to try a lot of food he hadn’t before though, he could get behind that suggestion pretty easily when food was very appealing to him. “Oh, uhh…pasta? What a funny name. A lot of different meat too? Even with all this food in front of me, I’m feeling rather hungry just thinking about it”, he smiled happily, having a little trouble with the fork but he soon managed to get the food into his mouth appropriately. He still wasn’t used to all of this stuff that others with more fingers could do easily, somehow missing the cutlery he had back on his home planet. “I suppose that’s another reason for me to go and travel more. I didn’t eat much when I was growing up, but because of what happened to me I guess I should really try adjusting more. I don’t think I’ll get fat soon either”.

Shu was not sure if he was going to get all buff like he saw a lot of Saiyans get, but then again he did use a lot of energy compared to everyone else who just appeared to laze around a lot and only fight when they wanted to. Shu didn’t like staying still for a long period of time, probably why he remained so skinny. Eating his food quite happily he frowned when he was instead grabbed at, looking to Takeshi as he pulled his hand away. “I remember! I’m not good at it”, he spoke, staring at the fork before he licked at his fingers and wiped them down his top. He didn’t like using tools even though he was good at learning, he just enjoyed using his hands more. Sighing lightly he moved closer to the table, taking the fork in hand before simply shovelling the food into his mouth, trying to catch as much as he could before it fell back to his plate.

Viral just didn’t want to be bothered right now but he couldn’t really protest it either, finding he was too mentally out of it to tell her to stop talking to him. It wasn’t that he didn’t care that she wanted to make him feel happy, he just didn’t particularly feel he was worth the time. Letting out a light groan he looked away momentarily, trying to distract himself but finding it to be rather impossible. He couldn’t think of much as he stared down at the plate before him, frowning before he leaned back a little. “And possibly attack someone when I wake up? I feel that is somehow not what I want to be doing”, he sighed, knowing he was still prone to swiping whatever was in front of him. Not feeling entirely sure about his food situation he frowned as June continued to insist that he’d eat some, taking a piece in his claws as he glanced to June. “You say that like I didn’t like eating when I could. Of course I’ll like it, it’s a matter of if I can keep it down or not end up hurting someone as a result”. He really should try and be braver with food though. He shouldn’t be so worried all the time that he was somehow endangering people or think that he was being fed poison.

Hesitating at first he soon began to eat, looking like he was both struggling and appearing determined to both stay awake while eating. This was particularly hard, he was feeling particularly pressured too which was definitely making him feel a little sickly even if his determination was trying to match the other’s hunger. He was tired of being a coward towards simple needs, even if it wasn’t entirely his fault. If he wasn’t tortured so badly to where his animal instincts were made dominant then he wouldn’t have all of these problems. Pausing briefly when he was looking fairly close to zoning out completely he sighed, wiping his claws briefly on the table which caused slight grooves to appear. “…Do you know what it’s like to feel like this? I’ve destroyed so many lives in the past before…but it’s what I’m good at. The Saiyans were only giving me the opportunity to let me be myself, even if they insisted on experimenting on me first to understand me”.
Cecil didn’t know what he was supposed to say or what he should do during a situation like this, whether he should try and take Nymira away from the man; then again, she wasn’t the one that needed protecting. The guy was not a threat, that much he could assess, but Nymira was certainly threatening him a whole bunch. He didn’t know if she was going to get into trouble by doing any of this but he certainly wasn’t going to butt in and cause even more of a stir. He wasn’t sure whether these people saw him as a machine or if they thought he was a real being like normal people saw him, so keeping quiet and fairly expressionless was probably his best bet right now. He was sure Nymira was going to calm down at any point at least, then maybe they can continue with what they were needing to do.

Finally once everything calmed down Cecil tried to remove his worries by focusing on Nymira who was looking and sounding rather confident in what she wanted. He didn’t want her to get in over her head like that again just in case someone might attack, seeing how everyone seemed to like to attack when something happened that was out of the ordinary. He didn’t know what set people off like that but it was definitely a case of ‘no touch’ with Nymira. Frowning, he turned and waited for Nymira to calm herself down he stared at the knife before his attention was taken to the other woman, feeling worried yet looking calm after all of that. If Nymira had harmed the man then they would all be in trouble and the fastest way out was through the window, but even then if those Machina turned out to be suitable for combat like he was then he didn’t know how he might handle them. Whether he could harm another Machina was still questionable.

With everything soon done and everything arranged, Cecil continued on with Nymira quietly while trying to ignore the man. It was definitely difficult since he liked to talk not to mention he was fairly rigid in his movement as his nerves kicked in. He didn’t know anything about this guy other than something about healing and not a Magi, but it probably wasn’t important to understand more of this man when he didn’t appear to be very interested in him either. Continuing with them quietly he looked up when he heard Ethan’s voice calling out behind his thought process, looking around at first before finally spotting him. Raising his hand briefly to wave he quickly glanced at Zander, lowering his hand again soon after.

He was fairly happy to see Amuné and Ethan, but he wasn’t particularly happy that they needed this man for their next steps. Cecil was still trying to recover his energy and if this guy creates trouble he would only be wasting that gathered energy and wasting valuable recharge time. He didn’t want his battery dying out again, he wanted to keep going and try to use his own energy reserves before having to rely on his main power source. Looking between Ethan and Zander he tried to analyse the first meeting of these two, trying to understand how this was going to work out when this man was an outsider and possibly a risk to his existence as a Machina that looked like a Mura.
T’charrl didn’t initially know what to think of the fish but after savouring it he certainly found it to be within his tastes. He was still trying to adjust to his meat-heavy diet, his kind didn’t really eat all that much meat to begin with but his changes had made it so he had a much higher craving than normal. He had managed to control the craving, but he was still worried if in the future he’d go savage and try to eat someone. Their heavy meat diet certainly did help him a lot so he was thankful for that, but he never really knew in the end. Trying the fish did prove to expand his tastes somewhat, a smile appearing on his face as Yumi asked what he thought about the fish. “Food melts in my mouth anyway”, he spoke before pausing, looking a little embarrassed as he looked down again, “I mean, umm…my kind can-I mean…uhh, buttery?” Getting all embarrassed he sighed heavily, looking down at his plate before smiling again, “Fish live in water, right? There’s not much water on the surface of my planet, but there’s lots of it underground. We don’t really eat them…”

Shu was happily eating his food without much of a second thought regarding what he was eating or how he was eating it, preferring to use his fingers and pick it apart before shoving it in his mouth. He didn’t really make a mess and seemed to eat in a very polite way about it without wasting food. Keeping quiet to himself he smiled quite happily away before squeaking when his food was suddenly kicked, causing him to raise off his seat a little. Staring at Yumi as she told him about eating a balanced diet he looked down to his food before to the rest that was sitting out waiting for him. “I don’t want to get all muscly!” he squeaked, grabbing a piece of fish before eating at it flake by flake. He was quite happy to eat no matter what food he was given but when there was colourful stuff he wanted to eat that first. He never really saw meat to be that colourful, but he still enjoyed eating it when told to.

Viral wasn’t paying attention to what the others were all talking about, their sounds and voices just passing him by. He was in his own world for a little while as he tried to decide on what he should be focusing on, whether it would be trying to stay awake or actually try eating for once. Feeling conflicted over his own state of health he barely noticed June there until the food had been placed in front of him, staring at it for only a moment before he turned to look at her. She didn’t have to get him some food, he wasn’t bothering anyone by sitting in silence like this. Turning back to the plate he froze up as she decided to stroke his hair, his eyes staring down at the food she was cutting up for him as his face went slightly red. He didn’t understand why she was doing all this for him or why he was so embarrassed by it all, but either way it felt like a really tense moment. Groaning when she stopped he hunted his shoulders, taking a piece of fish in his claws as he stared down at it. “I’m not tired! I’m just…thinking”, he spoke, tensing up again in an effort to appear more awake, “It’s too early to be sleeping, it’s too soon for a nap. It’s barely the afternoon on this planet…”
