Cecil did hope he hadn’t just brought destruction to them all because he thought it was best to seek them out, all this because he didn’t want to be destroyed. He knew he was dangerous and he knew he was capable of attracting terrible company, but he didn’t want to die either. He didn’t even know if him being destroyed was the same as an organic lifeform dying. Somebody could just build another one of him and that would be it, but organic lifeforms couldn’t be replaced. Staring at Ethan as he tried to tell him it was fine that this happened he gasped when everything started to move again as the creatures were attacked and nearly everyone was fighting one another, his eyes staring blankly as the others quickly tried to defend themselves and kill the creatures at the same time.

This was just a mess. Once again he had brought trouble to the group even if it was for genuine help. Those creatures looked like they could melt him in an instant with that gunk that came out of their mouths, that was probably their purpose. It couldn’t had been that, those creatures were natural while he was not. That couldn’t possibly why they existed. He felt so confused, his mind ran all over the place even when it shouldn’t. He was just a machine, he shouldn’t be thinking so erratically when it was all just code. He really didn’t know why he had to be like this, he should’ve just been like those other Machina in that big building. He was thinking way too much about what he should’ve been when he was made, he didn’t even know what he was supposed to be like originally.

As confusion about his existence rose up again he gasped when he was suddenly spoken to, staring at the man. Staring at Zander, he frowned and looked to the others, not at all confident in his ability to do that. “W-What…? I don’t hunt! I don’t even consume flesh!” he spoke quickly, getting to his feet, “I can’t do anything to those things…I wouldn’t had brought them here if I could”. This was a huge mistake but he hoped the others would be able to get through it alright. He had been told Zander could heal so he could help the others if they got injured, but if he got damaged there was no helping that. If he tried to deliver a long ranged attack he would run low on useable power, only resulting in rendering him even more useless. He hated playing the coward in this when he brought them all here, but he had no other choice. Amuné wouldn’t want him going near her, her animal wouldn’t want that either so he couldn’t exactly help her out unless he wanted to upset both of them. He was left standing out by himself at this point, staring and watching as spells were sent flying at the creatures as both parties struggled to survive.
The creature was barely concerned with where ever the other two had gone to, they would probably want it dead pretty quickly in this position. There was very little that could be done right now other than wait and see whether it would be spared or killed as fast as possible after it had provided enough information. It didn’t know what else to say that wouldn’t end with the destruction of its species. Letting out a prolonged groan it soon looked back to Aito, staring at him before looking to his hand, narrowing its gaze. ”Feel sorry for me? How curious that you would feel sorry towards a foreign entity…especially one from another world…” it spoke slowly, soon looking away again with little fear towards Aito’s threat to kill it. ”Now that is something I do not understand. I can sense you are one of those Saiyan aliens, but you spared me for this long. Usually they would just kill my kind immediately without trying to discuss. It’s been like that for so long, but do you even know why? Why did the Master decide now was the time after so many years? You may call me infantile, but I wonder about such curiosities too. Why was I created to poison millions? Why am I what I am? Perhaps I was simply created to send a warning or escalate the war, maybe I am really this dispensable…”

Viral saw her as pretty appealing, especially when the smell of blood was all over her. He did wonder where she had gone for a whole few minutes when she disappeared, forgetting about her until now. His attention span was very limited at a time like this and very few things mattered to him at this point. He didn’t know where he was or what was going on but he was still content with that. He didn’t know much other than the fact that Yumi was a free lunch with her popping up like this. Approaching her slowly he hissed as he stared dead on at her wounds, opening his maw as he moved closer before finding he was quickly distracted by a bloodied bandage being dangled directly in front of Yumi. Staring at it his eyes followed it as it was slowly placed on the grass, hissing at first before dropping down on all fours and snatching up the bandage all while tearing away the earth like it was nothing. Chomping away at it for a moment he soon stopped and hissed, staring at her as if expecting more to fall off her before he was to eat her.
Aito didn’t sound like the reasonable type at all, it felt like it knew it was going to die soon because of this crazy person. It was probably going to die soon anyway no matter what happened, whether it would be that monster they called their colleague coming back or even when it returned to its own world. Failing such a mission and being discovered was the worst outcome. Feeling like giving into the possibility of death it became depressed, not caring for what Aito was saying to it anymore or what he might do to it. Groaning when Aito tried to intimidate it some more it simply stared out into the lake, sighing when Aito decided to try and get more answers out. ”I highly doubt your comrades are returning. Sounds like they left without you…” it grumbled, only feeling a little confused by what Aito was trying to compare its own world with. [i]”I don’t know what this ‘Otherworld’ is, all I know is we first travelled using rifts…the rest, I don’t know. I’m not old enough to know the full details of how and why such rifts exist. I don’t know why you find this at all interesting, though…seeing how irrelevant it is to someone like you…”

This whole place was confusing Viral and what was worse was he was too big to feel comfortable in such a place. He had to keep his head down to avoid a majority of the branches, he was having to watch his feet and was struggling to find space to wander. All the smells in the forest felt too jumbled up, everything either smelling too strong or too unfamiliar. He wanted to investigate these smells, but the source of the noise had to be discovered first. Trying to discover the source which bounced all around the place off the trees he soon heard something else, looking around slowly before gasping when the noise came from right behind him, spinning around only to snap a tree completely in half with his tail. Jumping back and snarling in surprise he quickly redirected his attention away from tree and down at Yumi, staring at her as she spoke to him. He didn’t appear to take in what she was trying to say, his head slowly tilting before he snarled as he slowly moved forward. Staring at her his eyes soon went to her wounds, hissing lowly as he looked ready to pounce on her. He didn't appear to be in his right mind but he was looking a little less stressed out, just hungry for blood.
Viral had completely forgotten about Yumi since she had left his sights and now he was back to wandering around lazily trying to find what he had come here for in the first place. This wasn’t his kind of environment, he couldn’t sniff out water apart from the moisture all around him. Sniffing around as he wandered he grumbled and scratched at the ground, not finding it to be too inviting with the number of roots he could detect. While he could tear through rock easily the problem came with wood. It was not an element that could be easily shifted, he would have to chomp through it all as he went. Growling and hissing as he wandered in search for something to chew on he stopped and looked up and about when he heard a noise followed by some echo through the trees. Slowly wandering over to it he crouched down, looking to see if there was anything out there that was actually making the noise. When he couldn’t find anything Viral let out a low hiss, looking around before simply walking off again with a hunch, slapping low branches as he went.

The creature was feeling very uneasy and a little stressed out, finding the man to be too unpredictable now that it had been left alone with him. There was always going to be that threat of extermination in this position and with the way this guy was playing around it felt like it was simply waiting for death. ”You are mad if this is how you treat your opponents!” Feeling particularly angry now he was quickly assaulted once again as he was forced into looking at the water he was in charge of taking care of. Growling in annoyance it tried to shift its head before it looked up at Aito, narrowing its gaze. ”You won’t find anything of interest inside me, so what’s the point on looking…” it hissed in annoyance before sighing, speaking in a lower tone. [i]”You say that like it actually matters to you. It’s not like you’ll ever see them. I was sent by my superior through telepathic means. None of those that are of higher rank than I will be seen in this dimension, so you don’t have to worry about that. If you’re going to kill me, might as well get it over with. Even if you spare me I will probably be destroyed for failing such a simple task…”
Viral didn’t have any hesitation regarding the possibility of harming himself by chomping so deeply into the trees, his only concern was to get what he wanted and move on. Yumi was somewhere but her scent was so scattered and every other smell in the place was tainting his senses. Looking down and sniffing around he followed on after the scent, leaping whenever it was close by and subsequently chomping down on the tree that Yumi had smeared her blood on. It didn’t matter that it wasn’t actually Yumi, he was just chasing the smell of her blood. Snarling when it wasn’t what he was wanting he looked around again, sniffing at the ground on all fours before jumping at another tree and tearing at it with his teeth. None of these were his targets, but the spread of the scent was confusing him too much and making him feel disorientated. Shaking his head in frustration he soon decided to take to the ground, sniffing around and following the tracks left by Yumi. He wasn’t completely aware with where he was going, but the longer he continued with this the faster he was losing interest, eventually standing up a little straighter and shaking his head. Letting out a groaning hiss he soon just carried on through the forest, scratching at his chest absentmindedly as he tried searching for whatever it was that had his mind distracted in the first place.

The creature hissed, trying to get its claws underneath itself. ”I am just doing my job…what I exist for! It’s not my fault that your kind are part of that…” It was quite stuck underneath Aito, it didn’t have the strength nor stamina to get him off or use its attacks. Maybe if it was patient it might regain some energy, but with the injuries being located where Aito was sitting there probably wasn’t much that could be done. Groaning as it could do nothing more but hope Aito might slip up it hissed in annoyance when he was so content at poking and prodding it, looking back at him in annoyance. ”Dissect me? You’ll find nothing left of me if you kill me! Just because I am different from you does not mean I should be treated in such a grotesque way!” it spoke angrily, shaking its head, ”I value my life higher than those ‘rabid animals’ as you call them but that does not mean I want to be kept alive just to be cut open and tortured! I’d sooner kill myself than allow you to do that to me!”
Viral tried to scratch underneath him when Yumi evaded his attack but missed greatly, instead landing and skidding across the ground in a turn to face Yumi again. Thoroughly angered now he snarled at her before running after her in leaping bounds into the woods. He didn’t have much awareness of what he was doing or where he was going, only that he wanted Yumi because of the scent of blood. It was driving him crazy, he had to get her just so his mind would be content again even if it meant eating her when he would catch her. The forest felt like it was a completely foreign environment and with so many smells too. Looking around quickly he sniffed around, soon sniffing out the blood on the tree. Hurrying over to it he immediately chomped straight into it as if it was nothing, tearing a massive chunk out of the tree and shaking it furiously before simply eating it. Even if it wasn’t Yumi it still had the blood he was after for so long, but now he had to find Yumi. Snarling as he turned around again he looked around to try and find her before wandering deeper into the forest, running to try and spot her. He could smell her nearby and was following that, but there was so many different smells in the forest that it was mildly confusing him.

The creature was really despising these people at this point even if it was going to kill them before it ended up in this position. This was practically using it as a method for their own comfort rather than as a living creature. Even it wouldn’t sink so low as to use its enemies in such a way. Trying to move but finding it to be too painful it hissed as Aito got snarky with it. ”You were interrupting my work…of course I’m going to disable you!” Feeling frustrated and in pain it didn’t even care that Yumi appeared to be playing around with her partner, then again their leaving meant they had no control over this guy sitting on him. Hissing lowly as it clawed slowly at the ground it grew further annoyed at Aito dodging the question, instead rambling on about something unrelated. ”If you’re not going to kill me then what’s the point? I will eventually return if you don’t kill me! I have a job to do and I’m not going anywhere until I complete it so just kill me!”
Viral was trying to get a hold of Yumi but try as he might she was just too close to him. She was right in his personal space, even if she was light. The smell of blood coming from behind him was the result of her being there too, the only thing going through his mind right now was the desire to get to that and make a grab for her. Snarling and hissing as he practically danced around to try and get a hold of her he was alerted when she decided to get off him, spinning around at first before realising she had landed right in front of where he was going to head in the first place. Hissing at her he soon took note of her hand as she touched the wound he had been following before holding her hand out to him, his eyes on the blood immediately. That was definitely what he wanted from her, his eyes fixated on it as he slowly crept forward only to end up running as she did. He was slow in this form, his sheer mass and form making him appear awfully sluggish on land; however, he knew better than to run like she was. When she had enough distance from him he soon took a dive and broke through the ground, ‘swimming’ after her as his dorsal fin and tip of his tail sliced through the solid ground. He was a lot faster now and with that speed he took a dive momentarily before suddenly leaping out at her, trying to pounce her.

The creature knew it had to get out of this position or it would never stand a chance of getting back into the fray. Trying to gather its energy again it hissed when Yumi and Viral headed off, seeing it as its opportunity to get underground again. This was its only chance while those two were distracted. Trying to concentrate its time into healing itself it gasped when the sound of Aito was right nearby, turning to look at him. ”Get away from me…!” it hissed before gasping when Aito decided it was best to sit on it instead, the weight of Aito pressing it rather painfully into the ground on top of all its other injuries. Hissing in pain it clawed at the ground, looking back at Aito in anger. ”Why do you desire to humiliate me…? Why not just finish me off?? Isn’t that what you came to do in the first place…”
@shylarahBecause Amuné won't go near Cecil who is on the ground :P

Other than that, feel free to post!
Viral was pretty much having the worst time possible with Yumi being so floaty, she could see exactly where he was and his instincts were telling him it would be no use going after her underground to ambush her. Frustrating her pretty quickly he tried to go after her once again, trying to make a grab for her but found that she had gone over him again. Hissing in anger he turned around, but she wasn’t there. Looking around for any signs he didn’t understand what happened to her, hissing lowly before hearing something from right behind, his upper back feeling strangely numbed by some strange force. The fins on the side of his head twitched, turning out to be his ears as he listened out for what that was and where it was coming from. Turning his head he couldn’t quite see where she was, snarling in frustration as he tried to reach back but couldn’t get his arms over his head. Snarling and hissing in frustration he stumbled around, swiping his tail as if it’d help to get her off.

The creature had already found frustration in being crushed so many times, now they were talking about capturing it rather than killing it. While it certainly didn’t want to die it didn’t want to be captured either, that would be the worst outcome. They would only wish to torture it and tear it apart for information, prolonging its suffering until they had no longer a need for it. That was even worse than death as far as it was concerned, it meant there would never be relief from a painful life full of suffering. The options were limited and from the looks of it that girl couldn’t control her friend. Taking that as a suitable opportunity to get out of here it slowly pushed itself off the ground, holding its shaking claws to its chest as it tried to use its regenerating abilities to recover enough health so it could gain the energy needed to go underground again.
The moment Link had heard the guard he was terrified that he would somehow manage to screw this all up and blow their cover, knowing one wrong move could send them all into a massive world of pain before they could even think about a possible way out. This was really bad, this place really was heavily guarded and if it wasn’t for the masks they would certainly be caught and pursued before extra plans could be made. Turning and standing still as he stared at the Captain, A constant frown remained on his face but behind the shadowy cover of the magical mask his eyes stared on in fear. Just how tall did he look to these people with this mask on? He was already short for his age so hopefully that didn’t project with the magic because otherwise he would be considered too short to be in the military.

Remaining very quiet as Caelan tried to speak around the possibility of trouble with Regol doing his little routine to try and keep the situation at a minimum, Link stared at them all as he thought through a possible plan if things did go wrong. There was a few exits, but none of them would lead further into the castle. If everything came to the worst scenario then they would probably have to kill these guards and hide the bodies, but he didn’t want to have to think about having to do that. Killing guards just didn’t feel right, especially when they were probably as innocent as the townsfolk. Remaining stiff and at attention he gradually eased up when Regol decided it was time to get moving, walking with Caelan in what he hoped was a calm manner. With his shoulders tight and his attention remaining forward, he gasped when Caelan spoke his name before frowning deeper when he mentioned using magic, opening his mouth to speak before closing it tight and looking away. He didn’t know what to say to that, he didn’t even know if he was able to say he had his magic sealed away as well as the Master Sword. Letting out a groan as he remained tight lipped he eventually spoke if in a slight mutter. “Is there…nothing in those supplies that were…uhh, you know…at the shop?” he spoke, slowly looking back to Caelan, “Maybe he gave you something, b-but it’d have to be quick because there’s still a lot of guards around here…otherwise, I guess we head inside...?”
