Age: 27 Home Country: Amestris Background: Eric is one of a set of twins. Separated at the young age of 6, his sister Ella was taken by a cult who had disguised themselves as State Alchemists. They said it was protocol, that she had potential, but they never said for what. For years he lived with his mother, wishing more than anything his beloved sister would return to him. News soon reached the family that she was dead, killed in a severe accident along with many others. This drove Eric mad. It was like a piece of him died. By the age 13, he had trained in the arts of alchemy for years, and attempted Human Transmutation to try and bring her back. But of course, it failed. For the price of seeing the Truth, parts of his flesh had vanished, leaving only the exposed muscle tissue, a wound that never heals. Struck with grief and shame, he covered the flesh taken away from him with bandages, and left home, never to return.
Now, Eric finds himself working as a State Alchemist, one who is often sent to investigate ruins of old and collect knowledge of alchemy that is not well known. Bearing the well known title of The Lightning Alchemist, not many know of his past and why he can use his own alchemy without the need of a transmutation circle.
Personality: Eric is quite arrogant and doesn't work well with others. He takes his inner pain and takes it out on others so naturally he has a hard time making friends. When it comes to talking about himself, Eric tends to fall silent and gets quite defensive when asked about the bloody bandages he wears.

Hey guys! This whole plague situation is getting me down, and I really want to practice my writing. I have years of roleplaying experience but lately I haven't done it at all. So here I am! Searching for some people who share the same interests as me that are willing to do casual RP.
A Bit About Me: - I really love fantasy and supernatural rps and anything to do with stereotypical plots , but I'm open to most things. - I always write at least two paragraphs, but I can write much more if I'm given enough material to work with. I try my best to match what my partner is giving! - I have Multiple Sclerosis which can mess with my thought process, so sometimes I may be struggling to respond. When this happens I'll be sure to let you know! - I pride myself on my grammar and spelling knowledge, but I do tend to use the Oxford Comma way too much. - I like chatting OOC so feel free to have a chat with me. :D - I can play both male and females roles, but I generally prefer MxF pairings. - I'm a sucker for building romance. - I prefer writing in third person! - I don't mind doubling up on characters.

A, reluctantly, has accepted that the little cottage they live in will forever be their prison. Meanwhile, B is the youngest child of a royal family who's sick of all the rules and procedures. Rebellious, B runs away. They end up in A's forest the night of a blizzard. Seeking refuge, B finds A's cottage, and desperate for warmth, knocks on their door. A is the one to answer.
Only a few people in the world are magically gifted, and it's a beloved art that will automatically give you a one-way ticket to the capital where you will work for nobility- and royalty.
Character A is apart of a large-scale war that their kingdom has been apart of for years upon years, a war of attrition, neither side giving ground to the other, bloodshed, despair, and hatred lining both sides. Character A is a hero of this grand war, a leader amongst the army, being a legend amongst the ranks, a symbol of fear to the opposition. The king of Character A's nation decides to go to a drastic tactic to change the tides of war. He summons Character B, who is a normal person from an everyday life on Earth, that is now dragged into an unknown fantasy world where they are claimed to be the great legend that was described in stories of the past. Character A is put in charge to aid and be close with Character B, forcing two opposites to unite for separate causes. One wants to save their kingdom, the other wants to return to their home. Can they fight alongside one another? Will either achieve their goals? It's a game of desperation for Character A, and a game of survival for Character B.
Character A's life is a literal shitshow. They are bullied to the point where it's normal. They are neglected by their mother, their father left when Character A was seven. Character A has no friends, no hope, no options. Even simple things, like making a coffee somehow winds up into being a fuckup. Nothing goes well for them, everyday being a deeper pit of agony and disappointment. They seek relief in their small hobbies and the frequent drink or drug. That is...until they've had enough. Character A runs from home, taking with them the .44 Magnum they bought from a gang member a couple days prior. Now they stand on a unfinished, abandoned skyscraper, gazing down at the city, hoping to find comfort in their final moments. Just as Character A sips at some tequila, and downs a couple lines of cocaine, they press the barrel to their head.....until a voice reaches to them. Character B, a grim reaper who is usually sent to collect the soul of the dead, decides to intervene in Character A's suicide, having a sudden desire to save them. From there on, Character B sets out to help Character A, attempting to heal them mentally and get their life back on track. How can Character B continue their duties while helping Character A? A broken mind mended by a keeper of death. An unlikely bond hat grows as they continue to try to help one another.
Muse A is a demon hunter. Relentless, merciless, and determined; Muse A is renowned for their hunting abilities. Muse A is so set on destroying all of the demon-born that he and his men attack a refugee camp of demon-born hiding in the woodlands. The camp is burned to the ground and all who aren’t killed flee into the woods. Muse A is about to kill a stray demon who has been caught in the brambles… but for some reason he/she cannot bring himself/herself to do it.
Muse B lost nearly everything that night; their home, their family. When their life is spared by a demon hunter, Muse B, while resentful, is curious. They allow themselves to become Muse A’s prisoner with the desire to show that not all of the declared "demons" are as the stories say. Muse B tries to make the best of their situation and to earn Muse A's trust, if only to preserve their own life, all while fighting to suppress their inherently destructive nature.

The day started out like any other. The faint smell of mold was the first smell Jackson woke up too. Water stains from a leaking roof plastered the walls of his small bedroom, a problem that had been present from since before his family had moved in. It didn't bother him much though, he had grown used to it over the years. The next thing he noticed was his alarm screaming at him to get out of bed. Last night he didn't sleep well, the faint bags under his eyes proved that well enough.
Jackson clambered out of bed, his hand smacking the alarm clock to shut the damn thing up. It didn't take him long to get ready, all he had to do was throw on some clothes he had scattered across the floor of his bedroom, run his fingers through his messed hair, and out the door he went, backpack in hand. On the way out he passed him mother, passed out on the worn down couch. No surprise there. Every morning it was the same story. At least he had school to escape to now. Running his fingers through his hair, Jackson made his way down the street, a Letterman jacket, his prized possession, hugging his body loosely. School was only a few blocks away, Jackson couldn't wait to get there.
The jocks and his fellow friends were are grouped in the usual spot, goofing around like usual. However, a new face caught his attention as he approached his friends, and Jackson rolled his eyes. "Oh, c'mon Ralphy." Jackson said, a bit of sarcasm in his voice poking through as threw an arm around his friend's neck, rough housing as usual. Jackson had approached just in time to hear them talking about 'fresh meat.' "A bit old for that now, aren't we?" Of course everyone knew what he was referring to. The hazing for new students at the old house of Masking Lane that always took place on Halloween night. A tradition he found ridiculous, especially for kids their age.
Eyes on the new girl, Jackson gave a charming smile as he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jacket. "Not everyone believes in ghost stories anymore."
