Khosin nodded as Drono shot a look at him before saying he’d be right back “Understood boss.” He said as he looked at the Drell and then at the Asari that had entered the room, one of his eyes tracking the pair as Drono dragged the Asari aside away from prying eyes or other unexpected visitors that might enter the room. The look that had crossed on the Asari’s face when she had laid eyes upon Drono, anger and a mixture of confusion, was one that hadn’t gone unnoticed by Khosin, he had seen that look many times directed at him and he was sure that he had given that same kind of stare to other people in turn. As luck would have it nothing seemingly bad happened as Drono walked out of his little chat with his old acquaintance unharmed, the Asari following promptly after the blue Drell and quickly disappearing from Khosin’s view. The brief reunion between the two former friends brought back old memories of the Batarian Sentinel “Huh, wonder how such a meeting would go for me? probably get shot between the eyes as soon as they see me.[/i] He thought, letting out a short, slightly bitter, chuckle directed at himself. Seeing that the Drell seemingly had no further use for his presence, Khosin began to wander around the smuggler’s camp, looking for any weak point that they could use when they tried to attack the camp.
As it turned out their attack didn't had to wait too long as the smugglers that were next to him began complaining about a drunk krogan making a mess around the camp “Hey, wasn't that krogan with the squint over there?” Said one of the gathered smugglers, a human of 40 or so years in heavy armor with a bandolier of grenades strapped to his chest, which prompted at least half a dozen ‘Yes’ and ‘I think so’ from the rest of the gathered criminals “Hey, you, go get your fucking friend under control before he ends up killing someone, unless you want to get him killed that is” Said the heavily armed smuggler as he began making his way towards him. “Probably head of security or something like that.” Thought Khosin as the human approached him still, infuriated by the Batarian’s silence, and grabbed him by the collar of his armor “Didn't you hear me you fucking squint, your friend is making a mess so go and reign him in” Hissed the human, his tone of voice dripping with frustration and no small amount of rage.
In lieu of an immediate answer Khosin merely head butted the human, causing him to let go to the collar of his armor and recoil “It's probably the fault of one of your guys, they probably pissed him off somehow so don't go around dragging me to fix your people’s mess” Hissed Khosin, clearly annoyed with the human smuggler. The smuggler, as if taking a page from Khosin’s book, didn't reply verbally but instead tackled him to the ground. They tumbled and rolled with the momentum, both throwing punches at each other, it wa then that Khosin heard Dex’s voice as his comm-link came to life "Dodnovran and Zela, Tenrom needs a hand. I’m still working on a special project. Be ready when the light goes green, communication might get shot to shit in a few. While you're at it, lend a hand to Kiv. He's drunk again." But it seemed that, to his bad luck, the smugglers had received similar news as him “Hey Anton, that Krogan drunk killed one of us, better put down that Batarian” Said one Salarian to the heavily armed smuggler that was wrestling with him.
Anton, as he now knew his enemy to be called, didn't have time to answer as Khosin hit him square in the side of his head with his enforcement gauntlet. Grey matter and blood splayed to ver Khosin who, in a moment of ingenuity, primed one of the grenades in the bandolier before kicking the corpse far away from himself. Scrambling up from from prone position, Khosin drew his executioner and fired off a few rounds before bolting through the nearest door as the grenade he had primed went off and caused a chain reaction with the other grenades in the bandolier “Affirmative, will try to rendezvous with Tonka as soon as I can, apologies for the radio silence ran into some trouble myself” He said into the frequency of the Jury Riggers, not caring about using their fake identities since he guessed that either Dex had secured their communications or that they would soon wipe out the smuggler base “Uhhh, team, if someone could get me a map of the camp that’d be ideal.” He muttered into the team comms, in his haste to run away from his pursuers he had entered further into the base by accident.
