Walking outside of a store with her medium scroll at hand, Chou felt somewhat satisfied at her latest purchase. It wasn't that she bought anything too special, but it was the touch of new tools that she liked. Most of her tools had been rather old and rusty so she had needed new ones. She held her scrolll tightly, thinking about possible new tool combonations she could come up with.

Suddenly she started hearing screams. Turning around, Chou watched with slight awe as the Six Tails rose above the village, and very soon started rampaging around the village, including sending what appeared to be like greenish water. As soon as it hit one of the buildings near her, however, it became clear that it was anything but water. It was acid, extremely deadly acid. She watched as people started to run away in fear, creating a bit more chaos to the one the beast had caused.

One of the beast's tails suddenly struck a building and sent many pieces of it towards Chou's direction. She saw several people that became trapped by previous acid attacks and were also in danger, but she didn't care for them. They had no use in the village, or to her, so why would she care about them?

Jumping and running up a building, she watched as the chunks of the building crushed the trapped people, most likely killing them within an instant. Merely glancing there for another moment, Chou decided that if they couldn't save themselves then they only proven her thought further. Turning to look at the beast, her eyes slightly widened as she saw an acid spit headed directly to her, and she realised that its too big for her to fully dodge it. Making a few seals and tossing the medium scroll up, she made her tools be shot towards the acid, hoping it might slow it down or create a hole in the acid as she started to run away.

But her plan had failed miserably. Taking a glance backwards, she saw that soon enough her scroll became nothing after the acid struck it, and the spit kept heading down. She saw the edge of the shadow from the acid spit, and added a boost of chakra to her feet to make a jump far enough.

Once more, her plan had failed her.

The acid struck the lower half of her body, and Chou felt the agonizing burning touch of the liquid as it slowly went through her body, and started coughing out blood. She just barely managed to move to lay on her back, trying to make the acid get out of her body, but then she felt it. The acid had reached her heart, and she felt as her entire body was failing her. Disbeliefing that she will perish like this, Her eyes slowly lost their color while looking at the beast that killed her.

Chou Minori was no more.

Fight of the Hosts!

Slowly walking into the very swampy looking training field, Kuni looked around. She had known the training facilities could be transformed into any kind of field, but she didn't think that would include a swamp. That was very impressive in her eyes. It really gave a damp feeling to it. Walking on the green, icky looking water, she stopped and kneeled, moving her hand in the water to see how they felt. They felt like it was possible to swim in them, but it wouldn't be the best of choices. Standing up, she went and got onto the small land, looking around the field and waving to people at random. She didn't manage to quite spot anyone she knew, but Kuni had a feeling that Eiji was watching her from somewhere, and that someone else she knew was there too.

Stepping into the arena timidly, Reyna's eyes widened as she took in her surroundings. She had expected to be fighting in a standard arena, flat land or something similar... But this... Gulping, Reyna made her way across the swampy waters and onto the dry patch in the middle of the arena. Her opponent was already there it seemed, and Reyna didn't exactly know what to do. Are we supposed to fight right away? She thought to herself, shuffling awkwardly at first. The other girl looked to be a little older than her, and Reyna briefly wondered what she was like. "Uh... hi." Reyna said quietly.

Moving to look at her opponent, who appeared to be a bit younger than her, Kuni couldn't help but smile. Even if this was a match to see their skills and qualities, it didn't mean they couldn't be friendly to each other "Hey!" She said and approached Renya, grabbing the younger girl's right hand with her hands "My name is Yoshikuni Sadako, but call me Kuni. Even if we are matched against each other, it doesn't mean we can't be friends afterwards or at least leave on friendly terms!" She said and let go of her hand.

Surprised by the immediately friendly nature of the other girl, Reyna didn't know how to properly react. "Um... it's nice to meet you Kuni. My name is Reyna Azuma." When they let go of the handshake, she clasped her hands together behind her back and shuffled for a moment. "Do... do you know when we're supposed to start?" She whispered, sounding a little nervous.

Shrugging her shoulders, Kuni went and did a little spin on the spot "I don't know if we are supposed to be waiting for someone to announce or if we just supposed to start. All I know is that I was told to come to this swampy looking training field and that here I will fight my opponent. I wasn't informed anything else." She said and then stopped to look at Renya again "Thats a nice name. Renya. Makes it easier to remember it." She said and sent a grin towards her.

Blushing, Reyna mumbled a thanks and then glanced around. She had been informed there were going to be referees present at the match, but so far she couldn't see any. I guess they stay hidden until needed... She thought, turning back to Kuni. "I guess, if you're ready, we could start...?" Preparing herself as best she could, Reyna hoped she was ready for this. At least her opponent was friendly, though Reyna wasn't foolish enough to think that would make a difference during the actual fight, it did make her feel a little better.

"Sure, we could go ahead and start if both of us are ready. Lets just begin the proper way, alright?" Kuni said and then walked a few steps away from Renya so that she stood a meter away from the edge of the small land in the middle of the swamp before turning to face her opponent again, and then formed the seal of confrontation, waiting for Renya to do the same before beginning their fight.

Stepping back as well, so that she was near the edge of the swampy water, Reyna formed the seal of confrontation as well. Bowing slightly, she never took her eyes off Kuni. Pondering for a moment as to what she should do, Reyna didn't wish to charge in against an enemy she knew nothing about, but she also didn't want to give Kuni a chance to get the drop on her. Reaching around behind her, Reyna pulled out her two swords. Getting herself into a defensive position, she waited to see what Kuni would do next.

Seeing her opponent wasn't going to make the first move other than take out a way to defend herself, Kuni kept the smile on her face as she formed a few seals. Renya would find the ground beneath her legs to suddenly start going up, bringing her up to 3 meters above the ground if she didn't get off, and then Kuni took out a couple of kunai before throwing them in Renya's direction and starting to form a few seals for the next jutsu she was going to use.

What the? She thought, surprised at the sudden shift. Glancing down she saw the earth she was standing on beginning to raise. Shifting her attention back to Kuni, she noticed the incoming projectiles and deflected them away with her blades. Contemplating her options for a moment longer, Reyna decided to remain in position, she had the high ground now after all...

Seeing Renya decided not to move from the spot was good. If she had moved it would've been more difficult. Forming the Snake seal, Kuni created an earth hand which would come out directly from the small pillar Renya now stood on, grab Renya's right leg from behind before pulling it, attempting to make the other girl let go of her swords and also make her be hanged from the earth hand above the swampy water. She started thinking on what she would do if this would fail, and decided to put her hand in her pouch and slip into her sleeve a blinding tag, just in case.

Feeling the sudden presence of something touching her, Reyna's lightning aura flared to life. As the hand grabbed her, lightning arced from her leg, breaking the earthen hand apart. Debating how to react, Reyna glanced around herself. If she stayed up on this raised platform, she did not have as much room to move around, but if she left it, who knows what else Kuni was capable of doing to disrupt the earth or trap her. Finally deciding to remain atop the pillar, Reyna began devising a plan.

Spotting the way her earth hand was destroyed by lightning which appeared to come from Renya's body, Kuni figured that any attack that will get a hold of her will have the same result. And they were surronded by water. So, she had a single objective for this fight. Keep Renya in the water for as long as she could. Forming a few handseals, The platform Renya stood on would suddenly start to tilt backwards, in the direction of the swamp, and Kuni took out a kunai with a blinding tag before throwing it towards her opponent, activating it midway and then closing her eyes, hoping this will work.

Feeling the tilt, Reyna let herself slide backwards, dropping herself off the edge. Reyna gathered chakra at her feet and used it to stay adhered to the earthen pillar. She was now out of view of Kuni, but stuck in a bad position. Thinking quickly, she sheathed her swords and quickly bit her thumb, slamming her open palm into the earth below her feet. A small puff of smoke was created before a small creature appeared. Not wanting to give away what she'd just done, Reyna simply pointed downwards, hinting for the creature to travel below the earth. Without another sound, Akutō sank into the earth pillar and began moving underground, leaving Reyna to decide what to do next. Moving to the side of the leaning pillar, she was now in full view of Kuni, and halfway back around.

Surprised that she hadn't heard any kind of splash, Kuni opened her eyes and saw her kunai struck the upper part of the small pillar she created, but her opponent was no where in sight. Deicding to see what was going on, Kuni literally stuck her head in the ground and looked in the direction fo the pillar. She managed to feel something suddenly going into the pillar and starting to move in the same manner she did while using the Hiding like a Mole technique, meaning it could use the technique, or was an incredibly good digger. Taking her head out of the ground, she smiled before putting a single leg inside the ground, allowing her to feel the vibrations from the creature, and while looking at Renya who reappeared on the side of the pillar, she formed a few handseals once more. This time the pillar did not move, but rather an earth hand would form next to the edge connected to the small island, form a fist and then go and crash into the edge, breaking the part connecting the pillar and the land, making the pillar start to fall towards the swamp. Kuni kept her eyes on Renya while still feeling the vibrations from the creature go through her leg, letting her know if it was coming closer or not.

She had managed to make it around to nearly the front of the pillar by the time the earthen hand broke it off from the rest of the land. Leaping the rest of the way down to the earth, Reyna landed, once again drawing her blades. This time, instead of staying back, she decided to run towards Kuni, hoping to catch the girl off guard.

Meahwhile, Akutō felt something a little strange. Moving a little deeper into the earth, the armadillo would travel behind Kuni, keeping his distance from the surface.

Watching as Renya started to head in her direction, and feeling the creature give vibrations from below her and then behind her, Kuni smiled as she formed four handseals, ending with the monkey seal. She would then take out a kunai and make an attempt to block the incoming swords of Renya, but upon impact the kunai would turn to rubble, and shortly afterwards, Kuni would turn to rubble as well.

The real Kuni, having used her Defensive clone technique, would appear next to the armadillo and then send a kick towards it before taking out a kunai and starting to move in its direction with increasing speed.

Charging her lightning aura into the blades, Reyna's attack came down viciously, striking straight through the rock clone. Her eyes widening with surprise, Reyna leapt backwards, expecting a trap. What was that...? She thought to herself, wondering where her opponent had gone.

Sensing the movement behind him, Akutō doubled his speed, barely managing to avoid Kuni's attack. Troublesome. He thought, still attempting to gain some distance from the advancing girl. Stopping himself, Akutō turned sharply back towards the girl. Rolling himself into a ball, he took off like a shot towards her. Their proximity would make it hard to avoid.

Senseing the sudden change of direction in the creature's movements, Kuni kept going forward until she felt her kunai clash into the metal shell of the creature. She realised that it was pushing the kunai to the side, so she used the little time she had to make a barrel roll deeper into the ground and just barely escape the incoming cannonball. Wondering what the creature is that it can move like that, she looked up as she felt the vibrations from Renya standing on the ground. Forming a few quick seals, Renya would feel as something is suddenly pushing her up and in the direction of the swamp once more. Another Earth hand, from directly beneath her legs, would appear and attempt to make Renya be slightly thrown in the direction of the swamp. Already knowing the earth hand won't last, Kuni decided to stay there for a moment, wanting to feel if the creature will try and head back in her direction and if Renya will remain on the land.

As the earth hand began lifting Reyna from the ground, her lightning aura kicked in again, and this time she had time to bring her blades around to destroy it before it could throw her anywhere. Falling back to the ground, Reyna moved further inland, she was starting to get the feeling that Kuni want to push her into the water, an idea she wasn't overly fond of.

Akutō slowed himself as he hadn't felt any solid impact. The pesky girl had moved further into the earth it appeared and, while he could follow her, it seemed to be a slightly pointless task. Instead, Akutō moved up so that he was between where he could feel Reyna standing, and where the pesky Kuni was. He wasn't about to let that girl hurt Reyna, not if he could help it.

Feeling the vibrations of the creature move between her and Renya, who was on the surface, Kuni understood the creature's aim was to prevent Kuni from reaching her. Thinking about something, she formed a few seals and created next to her an earth clone. The earth clone nodded to her before heading to the side, moving until it was below the water of the swamp and then quickly moving up, getting out of the earth while underwater. Not daring to let out a single bubble of air, the clone took out a few explosive tags and begun to slowly swim around as deep as she could, putting her head inside the earth every now and then to get a bit of air, and putting explosive tags while she was moving around the small land.

The real Kuni, in the meanwhile, started to feel that she was using plenty of chakra, so she decided that she will try and avoid using any jutsus until she could see if her plan will work or not, and in the meanwhile, she kept an eye out on the creature, ensuring that if it tried to go at her clone then she would know and be capable of stopping it.

What are you up to...? Akutō thought to himself as he felt the clone moving through the earth. So far it hadn't seemed to go near Reyna, but the armadillo was growing concerned. Raising himself through the earth so that he was now closer to his master, Akutō wanted to be close in case Kuni had anything tricky planned. Suddenly, a bolt of concern shot through him as Kuni's clone seemed to disappear, only to reappear very briefly moments later. Shooting up through the earth, Akutō raised just his head from the earth. "Reyna-sama, be careful, I don't know what this girl's plan is but she's up to something. Keep an eye out for her, she has made a clone, but... I can't track it, it's moving somewhere I can't see." Popping back into the earth completely, Akutō hoped that his master would be able to take care of herself... She would have to now.

Standing on the surface, Reyna jumped a little in surprise as the armadillo popped his head out of the ground. Nodding her response, she began to grow cautios. Kuni had the element of surprise on her side, as she could move around unimpeded, and undetected. If she was moving somewhere that even Akutō couldn't detect her, then where had she gone?

After the clone finished placing explosive tags all around the small land, it came to the surface of the icky water and after a few steps made its way to the land, knowing that even if Renya decided to attack her, then nothing serious would happen to her. Doing the snake handseal, the explosive tags all around the land would start exploding one after the other, making the water erupt into different directions. The many explosive tags all around caused the water to make the entire small land wet, along with Renya. With her opponent now being wet, the clone knew it was her chance. She formed a few seals and an earth hand would come out and grab the leg of Renya once more. If Kuni's guess was correct, then this attempt would be more painful for Renya than to the earth hand.

Whipping around to face Kuni, Reyna was about to charge, when the explosions set off. Hesitating, she glanced around as the water was forced into the air before raining down upon the little bit of land. Stepping forwards, Reyna felt a sudden grip on her ankle. Again? She thought, before turning her body and smashing the earthen hand with her blades. Her leg felt sore where the hand had grabbed her, but Reyna forced herself to focus on the opponent in front of her. Holding her weapons in a defensive position, she would wait. The water around them was a little concerning as her attacks could spread more than she intended if she wasn't careful. Eyeing her surroundings, Reyna began preparing herself to make a move.

The clone appeared to be somewhat disappointed, as it didn't get any kind of confirmation if the lightning produced from her opponent's body would harm her with water around or not. Figuring that were wasn't a lot of other things she could do, Kuni's clone decided to play it simple. She took out three kunai with explosive tags, throwing two to Renya's sides and a third one in front of herself before doing the snake seal to activate the tags and then doing a backflip into the water in order to protect herself.

Flicking her wrists, Reyna turned her blades into their whip forms, giving them expanded reach. Spinning, she managed to knock the kunai a distance away before Kuni set off the tags. Forming up her lightning shield to protect her, Reyna was forced backwards by the blast. Coughing, she stood. Despite the shield, she still suffered several scratches and bruises from being thrown back, and the shrapnel. Looking around for Kuni, Reyna could once again see no sign of the girl. Cursing inwardly, she prepared herself for another attack.

The clone swam a bit under water before going underground, senseing the armadillo still be around, and also feel the real Kuni was below the armadillo. Moving to the real Kuni, the clone would appear to be on the exact same spot as the real girl, and a moment later the amount of vibrations would decrease and Kuni would begin heading up in the direction of the Armadillo, but in a rather slow pace. Once she reached the creature, she made a hand sign to him, indicating she wasn't going to do anything for him "I'm gonna go up and ask to finish the match. I don't exactly feel like I can continue." She explained to the armadillo, not caring if it can understand her or not before continuing to move up.

After a couple more moments she came above the ground, seemingly a bit tired, and across from where Renya stood. Kuni raised her right hand "I don't feel like I can continue unless I want to collapse. This is me, retreating." She said in a loud voice, so both Renya and the people who were judging her could hear her loud and clear. After hearing someone say the match was officially over, she went and approached Renya "Sorry if I caused you a bit of trouble. I was merely trying to get you into the water, or at least wet enough so your lightning won't work properly." She said with a small smile.

Akutō rose to the surface alongside the girl, not wanting to take any chances. As they breached the surface, and the girl stayed true to her word, Akutō nodded, satisfied, and disappeared in a poof of smoke.

Reyna almost whipped one of her weapons towards Kuni as the girl rose from the earth, not ready to get hit again like last time. She hesitated though, when she saw Kuni raise her hand. Hearing the other girl out, Reyna was stunned for a long moment. Stepping over to meet her, once the match was pronounced officially over, Reyna stood awkwardly. "You don't have to apologize Kuni-san. You fought very well! Had me on the defensive the entire time that's for sure." Smiling encouragingly, Reyna was happy that the girl's friendly nature hadn't just been a facade to trick her during the fight. Reaching out a hand, Reyna spoke. "It was a good fight Kuni-san. And it was nice to meet you."

"It was a fun fight. And its great knowing you, Renya." Kuni said and grabbed Renya's hand. While she felt the earth was a bit unstable beneath her, she let her feet sink just a bit to be capable of feeling the vibrations, and the only thing she felt was Renya standing in front of her. Understanding this was all in her her, she finished shaking her new friend's hand and rubbed her eyes a bit "I'd offer to show you around Amegakure, but I need to go find a few people that I know were watching. But if you ever come to Amegakure again, be sure to look for me. Though were could I find you?" She asked the moved her hands down. She also saw people leaving the sitting areas around, so she figured Eiji was probably waiting outside or such.

"Consider it done." She said smiling still. Reyna doubted she would ever have the chance to visit Amegakure again, but if she did, she was at least happy that she knew someone she could talk to. Someone that seemed genuine, and wasn't plotting to kill her behind her back. she knew someone she could talk to. Someone that seemed genuine, and wasn't plotting to kill her behind her back. "Come find me in Kumogakure, if you are ever there of course. I'll make sure to give you a proper tour." Reyna doubted that anyone had come to watch her match, so she wasn't too sure what to do now that everything was over.

After her dizzyness appeared to go away, She made a couple of small steps on the spot to take her legs out of the ground. She then looked at Renya and thought about it for a moment "You know, I can see the person waiting for me any day of the week. How about I do show you around Amegakure instead?" Kuni said and her smile broadened up a bit at the thought of spending time with a new friend from a different village. She figured that she might not see Aiko, but at the same time, she was sure the woman would understand.

Reyna's eyes lit up as Kuni suggested they hang out for awhile. Not wishing to seem too eager, she shuffled awkwardly for a moment. "Well... if you are certain that you're not busy... I would love to." Smiling warmly, Reyna was happy about the prospect of touring another village. It would be some time until she could meet up with her teammates anyways, as Deidara also had a match of his own. She hoped he was doing well but, knowing him, she knew he would be. "Where's good to start?" Reyna asked.

Thinking about it for a moment, Kuni snapped her fingers "I know where we should head to first. Let the fun time of Renya and Kuni begin!" She said with a wide smile and begin walking out of the field, making sure Renya follows her without getting lost. This was going to be a fun day.

Seeing the man, who Riye decided was named Lyxus, not give her a reply fast enough, she looked at Sasha "The name was Sasha, right? I'll have to put it into my Archives. And well, if you will be up for going on a job without him, let me know. I'll be fine either way. Just looking for a way to make money and enjoy myself while doing so." She said and then sent an annoyed look towards Lazarus before turning around and seeing Sho be kicked by MInerva.

Approaching the two, she looked a bit annoyed at Sho "I already get the feeling you like one of the things I greatly dislike. The name was Sho, right?" She asked him before looking at the woman "Hey there. My name is Riye, I just joined the guild. I hope you won't mind me saying this, but I hope you won't be kicking people around too much." Riye said and sent her a small smile, hoping she didn't take it the wrong way.

Training No Matter What!
Kuni trains with a friend!

Sitting in Training Field B, Kuni felt a bit exaushted. She looked up at the young woman who stood in front of her "How much longer do I need to keep doing this... Its annoying..." She said and then slowly got to her feet. She screctched her arms out and then watched as the woman approached her "We will do this for as long as needed. Seeing your sensei cannot train you all the time, I will train your strength. We only have a few more days before your exam, and that means you need to be extra ready. And your strength is currently not that good." The woman said and then grabbed Kuni's arms.

"Why like this then... I can just use the ground to vanish into it.." Kuni stated, sounding a bit irritated, and Naoko shook her head "Unless you know exactly what your opponent is capable of, you need to know non jutsu ways to escape being captured. And this also involves making you physically stronger, so you could counter being grabbed by the opponent or such." Naoko said, and the young girl sighed. She then pushed her arms out before letting her legs slide down, releasing herself from the grip of Naoko.

Nodding, Naoko took a step away and marked to Kuni to stay on the ground "Before you get up, I want you to give me 30 pushups, right now. Just because we are friends doesn't mean I'm going to make things easier on you. Unless you don't want to become a chuunin." She said. Kuni kept her mouth shut, although she wanted to complain quite a lot, and moved to begin doing the push ups.

After a few minutes passed and Kuni finished, she moved to lay on her back and looked at her friend who moved to look at her from above before Naoko spoke "Don't tell me you are already tired. We only trained for about an hour. There is still quite a few things for us to go over. Get up, I'll tell you when we are done." She said and offered her hand to the young girl. Smiling, Kuni grabbed the hand and got up "Who said I was done? I may feel a bit tired, but as long as we don't use any techniques I should be fine!" She said and after getting up moved to look at the sky.

"Seems like there is a rain coming. Want to stop and continue later?" Naoko asked after noticing what her young friend was looking at, and Kuni shook her head "No, this is perfect. I love training in the rain. Only makes me more motivated to work!" She said and looked at Naoko "Come on, whats next?" She asked with an excited voice, and the young woman couldn't help but let a small smile slip onto her face "Next up you are going to do a small course. 10 rounds around the training field, and I'll mark 4 spots along the route. Each spot will indicate you need to do something else. First spot will be 20 pushups, second spot will be standing on your hands for a minute, third spot will be lifting a boulder without using chakra, but doing it properly, like I showed you. The fourth spot will be sending two kicks at my arms. That way I will be able to judge how much effort you are putting into this." She said and moved to mark 4 spots with small rocks, as well as place a small boulder, but one that will still be a challenge for Kuni to lift, at the third rock before going and standing next to fourth rock.

"Start." Naoko said and then begun watching as Kuni started to do the first round around the training field. She saw how determined the young girl was to become stronger, and while she was curious as to what really drove her, she kept the question to herself, thinking that each person should have his own little things that keeps him or her going.

Summary :
After receiving a report from Tora, Zakito instructs her to make a shadow clone as the mentors are called for meeting.

A new goal

Sitting at the top of the long stone table, Zakito noticed how several people came walking into the old and somewhat dusty looking spacious room. Silently each person took a seat. Nobody was making any sound that wasn't needed. No words spoken. Other than the movements of people breathing, walking and taking there place, there was a strange silence. Eyeing each person that came into the room, the remaining Dragon remained quiet as well. Just four more had to join the meeting.

Upon arriving at the location of the meeting, Tora looked around a bit. She had seen this place before, but not with so many people around. She slowly walked inside, not looking at anyone more than she needed, nor did she wish to keep up the fake personality now that she was in such a place. She also knew that Tora's personality would be extremely unfitting, seeing Zakito asking for such a meeting meant that something big was going on. She went and sat in the table, 3 chairs to the left of Zakito, knowing her place will never be next to him.

Right after Tora moved in the room, Chase entered the room. Like her, it was the first time he had seen the old room be filled with so many people. He examined it quickly and guessed it was around a number of thirty or so around. Taking a place more at the end of the table, he crossed his arms and leaned back in the stone chair. For a moment he wanted to sigh as the stone chairs weren't that comfortable as the chair of the Raikage.

''I am glad that you all were able to attend so quickly.'' Zakito began, his friendly and polite tone however absent. Placing his hands on the table, he glanced around. The men and women, both young and old would see the rather serious and grim expression being displayed over the face of the man. ''Today is going to be a new day for the organization. Not only due the several troubles that have arisen, but also because the final changes are in place.'' Zakito said, taking a second to pause. ''The goal of our organization has always been fixed on balance. To keep a balance that would prevent the rise of another terrible world war. Of course, to also prevent our old enemy to achieve their goal as their ways have always contradict our objective.'' Taking another moment of silence, Zakito folded his hands together as he would say something that would surprise and shock, mostly the elderly people at the table.

''Today, we aren't going to fight for Balance. We will forsake it for a better and more just goal.''

Listening carefully, Tora was somewhat surprised when Zakito announced they will be forsaking the goal of balance. What goal would possibily be better than it? She wondered in her own thoughts, but also kept an eye on Chase. The moment she spotted him, she wondered if he had any idea about her. Deciding that could wait, She straightened herself in her seat and looked at Zakito once more.

Surprised, Chase also frowned. He was also wondering what would come next. But some of the more older mentors started to mutter and some even to demand to know what Zakito was plotting. Simply raising his right hand, they would feel a very cold breeze. A clear warning. ''We will forsake the Balance as a goal to strive for. Our enemy has changed after the major defeat at the last events. Even more than us they had to deal with loss of members due death or deserting their ranks. However, I believe that they have managed to coop better with how the world has changed.'' Zakito told them, which caused many of those who weren't happy with his previous words to become silent. One of the mentors stood up and frowned at the Hon. ''And how is it that you have such information then?''

The question was met with a mere bland look from the Hon. ''Simple. From the past month I have received reports from both you as some of my own agents that our enemy has focused once more on Bijuu. They have had some good sucess in capturing even heavily guarded jinchuriki and extracting their beasts. But there is also the problem that we have no clear idea on who is leading them. They have adapted better and faster than we have.''

Standing up now, Tora looked at the Hon for a moment before looking at the other mentor "As of now, I have become aware that many places have a huge risk of being exposed to either us or the enemy. Even in Kirigakure, the fact I am capable of keeping myself hidden from the eyes of our former member, Rika Suzu, means that there is a very high chance that operatives from the enemy work there without anyone knowing. I also have a feeling some of the former members of the Dragon Lotus, after being exposed by Rika, might have been interrogated by the enemy. While they did not possess any recent information due to the fact I have not made any contact with them, they did possess some information about us, which is a threat on its own." She said, but the voice speaking was not the voice of Tora. It was the voice of Ino Namikaze.

The other mentor sat down and after Ino had spoken, Chase cleared his throat as he rose up. ''I want to ask, why hasn't there been nothing done about Rika? She is a clear threat to us. Wouldn't it be better to erase her now?'' Though he was suspecting that there would be something personally driving him, it was more an objective curiousity that made him to ask the question. Listening to both mentors that had spoken, Zakito answered them. He first threw a look at Ino. ''I will then let you deal with those past members. See what is needed to be done with them.'' Zakito coldly said before he turned his attention to Chase. ''Rika has been a thorne in the side, but right now she pose little threat unlike what may seem. Our system on how we operate has changed. The most locations that Rika has been or knew off have been adapted and secured.'' He paused, looking once more around. ''But like I said, I have my own sources and your reports. With the enemy acting in such a way that they have been able to launch several risky operations at the same time and over a huge area makes me believe that they are regaining strength in numbers. Something we haven't done in some time.''

A woman stood up as she pointed to herself. ''Dragon, I have to admit that the branch under my leadership hasn't recruited anybody in the past years, but wasn't it that we would need strong and capable shinobi and people among our ranks? Are you implying that we should take and recruit an army of brats to do our bidding?'' Some of the other mentors nodded or muttered that they agreed. Zakito shook his head slowly. ''No. I am not implying such a thing. But it is growing slowly in that direction. I believe that we won't gain any ground or advantage over our old enemy if we just try to tighten our security and change our ways of operating and leading. We need to recruit more loyal people. Those who will stay and who we believe have a good reason or bond to stay loyal to the Order. That is why I for example have sent two young recruits to the Sea Country. To prove my point already. Or haven't I?'' Zakito asked while he looked at an old man. The old man leaned on a cane and had a rather grumpy look on his face. But silently he nodded.

"I agree with Dragon. As long as we can recruit people who are loyal to the group, then we need to care less about their abilities. I am not saying that we can recruit six year olds, but anyone who will prove that they are willing to do anything for the group can be trained and become a better shinobi. While I may not be the best of examples, I have recruited a year ago someone who is. This agent, who I constantly look over, have proven to me time and time again of what loyalty means to her, and she helped me greatly, and even as of now, we are working on a new system to gather more knowledge within Kirigakure, with a minimum amount of people, but people who will be loyal. If they are loyal, then we can be certain they will do anything in their power to help up." Ino said and sat down in her chair once more "Not to mention, even if the other group has an army, but they are not truly loyal to them, then the army might as well be made of a single man." She added with the old, cold tone that she haven't used in a long time.

Chase remained quiet the entire time. He understood that the organization, both the Dragon Lotus as the enemy had adapted to the changing world. With having been Raikage for some time he understood that it would be needed to adapt if the enemy would also change. Else they would be too stuck while the enemy progressed. However, he wasn't sure what the new goal was. All he had heard was that the order had taken some changes. Rising up, Chase decided to ask it. ''But what is the new goal then?'' He politely asked.

''The new objective, the main objective, is to keep the peace. Though that seems simple, I have appointed old members and trustworthy members, which you all are, as mentors. The Dragon Lotus isn't like before a single unified group. It is now divided among branches with each having a mentor as leader. Each one of you is needed to lead their group in order to make sure that our enemy won't gain any ground to see their wrong doings from being completed. Until we aren't sure what their new goal is, we will try to make sure at first that they won't succeed in it if its similiar to their old objective.'' Zakito responded. He leaned a bit back in his seat. ''Are there any questions?'' Most mentors seemed to think about what had been told. A few seemed to be unsure about it, but the most seemed to be content and understanding the new objective.

"Peace, huh? That is a very nice objective, but tensions are already rising all around. How will prevent a war without exposing ourselves to all? Because some people, like the current Kazekage, would most likely jump on the first chance at creating a war." Ino said and kept her gaze down to the table for a few moments before looking at Chase "We already lost a few strong members in the past, and not everyone is in a high position in their village." She added, moving her gaze to Zakito while speaking.

It became silent and Chase threw a frown in Ino's direction. Crossing his arms, the man had a rather displeasing look in Ino's direction. It took him a while before he realized who she was. But when it dawned on him that Ino had changed her appearance, he kept his mouth closed instead of making a remark about her. ''There are some rising tensions and I suspect that we won't be instantly able to prevent any conflict. However, sometimes there is a need of a conflict in order to make a better peace.'' Zakito said. A mentor rose up from his seat. ''Though I disagree, I want to react on her.'' The rather young looking mentor had a frown as well on his face. ''How come it that you know of the Kazekage while you're branch is in Kirigakure? You just said that you don't have that much connections yet, but then mention a leader countries away?''

"Do you not know who the Raikage is? Or the Mizukage? It is important to keep on an eye on the leaders of the world, as they can easily make a rather large change in the status of the world. And knowing who the leaders of the world are is not that difficult, at least for general information. Information on this Kazekage, however, I collected before I became the mentor of the Kirigakure branch. I have knowledge on many people all around the world. It might not be completely correct by now, but seeing the Kazekage has remained the same for over a year now, I doubt his personality somewhat changed. He is quite focused on some things, dont you think?" Ino said and leaned backwards on her chair.

The mentor that had asked the question sat down, but he still had a frown in the direction of Ino. Chase saw this as confirming that it was indeed Ino. Finding it a bit strange that she was a mentor, he realized it was probably due his personal opinion about her. ''So how are we going to proceed now? If we only know that the enemy is gathering numbers and plotting and striking from the unknown, how will we aim to stop them?'' The man questioned. Zakito took a moment before he spoke back. ''We will continue with focusing on trying to build each branch of the Dragon Lotus in becoming able to suffice their own needs. Our main objective may be peace, but I realize that not every branch can operate or have the same objective as another. Each of you is thus required to think more on your own to see what you need to do in your area in order to confine and fight back the enemy. Of course to also try to find out possible information on who is linked to them. Directly or indirectly.'' Was his answer. This made Chase think as he realized that it would mean he would have to adapt likely his branch. His area was whole of Kumogakure. That was a considerable amount of people he would need to watch and check to make sure that the enemy wouldn't try to do anything. Not anymore at least.

Ino closed her eyes and thought a bit. Their current objective was to keep the peace, but at the same time they needed to recruit more agents. She wondered if it would be possible for her to do this without Rika noticing. She decided that after a year of not recruiting anyone she might give it a try, but she would need to look over who she will recruit very carefully.

''I have a question.'' A woman that seemed to look in her fifties stood up. There were three scars visible on her face. ''What does our enemy likely know?'' The question caused most of the mentors glance at their leader. ''That several of us are high ranked members of the organization.'' Zakito simply answered. This seemed to displease the woman. ''And what will be done about that? I already am sleeping with one eye open, but I thought we would also value our own security?'' She kind of threw the question in a rude manner towards Zakito. But he remained calm as he replied to her. ''Even while the enemy knows of some of us being part of the Dragon Lotus or even knowing what our role is, they haven't acted directly against us yet. This makes me believe that they know it is either too risky or that they want to eradicate some other factions and factors.'' Chase thought about it. Then he realized something. Rogue and enemy factors... I get it. Though he wanted to ask something, he had a hunch he already knew the answer to the question.

Nodding, she understood what Zakito was meaning. It would only make sense, take out any factors or factions that might suddenly turn on them or join their enemies "As for now, I would make sure to keep an eye on more than just the enemy. Many regular villages and people consider the Dragon Lotus to be their enemy, the best example would be Rika Suzu." Ino said, still keeping her eyes closed and not looking at any of the other mentors. She felt like while this was something obvious, someone still needed to point it out to make sure it is taken more seriously by everyone.

Some mumbled that they agreed and it became clear that it was settled. ''Good. Then I suppose we are done for now. Please try to seek a way to bring me a report, but not in any kind of obvious way. Though our system of operating and leading have been adapted now, I am starting to become supicious that we are forgetting several things. I thank you for your time being present here.'' That having said made most mentors stand up as they made a bow towards Zakito before they poofed away. Chase also stood up, bowed and poofed away.

Tora waited for all of the other mentors to poof away before approaching Zakito "I have been unable to tell you this before, because of your request to have this meeting, but allow me to finish my report now. After also hearing you say that the enemy has made a move, I suspect what Rika is dealing with in secret might be involved with the enemy, but I will need to further investigate that. I also have a way of ensuring Rika will not trouble the Dragon Lotus for a long time, after finding a very curious bit of detail with the help of Origami. If I come across any other major details, I will inform you. Good Day, Zakito-sama. Ino said and gave him a bow as well before poofing away.

The man simply nodded. He thought about what Ino had told him, but it was clear that most people had forgotten about it. Rika wasn't a problem. She had dug her own grave with her betrayel and leaving the Dragon Lotus. Leaning back in the seat, Zakito thought about the more unknown leader of the enemy. For some reason he was conviced it was better at how it had been in the past. At least then the enemy had a face. Sighing, he also poofed away.
