Introduction

"Welcome, Ladies and gentlemen, to the last days of our beloved planet. On your left you shall see the great Alien Lords who required us to deliver a specific amount of people every few weeks, and in return, everyone else under my rule get the perk of staying alive and safe. In the rest of the world, you shall see the fools who think they can fight our great Lords and survive. Both very foolish and deadly, as our Lords have the upper hand on every single aspect. But this has been the daily message for your comfort, and to assure you that I, Chad Rotting, am doing everything in my power to ensure your safety."

Hello, and let me give you a warm greeting to Earth's Darkest Days!
Here, you will be thrown into an apocolyptic earth, conquered by aliens, and you are one of the brave or foolish people who managed to escape being enslaved and captured by the aliens. You will fight for survival, or try and go around aliens as quietly as you can, but you need to remember one basic thing.

No one is ever truly safe.

The Rules

The Rules

1) No Godmodding. I will not tolerate it in any form.

2) The limitations for a starting character:

A) No one starts with a tank or with an army following them. Everyone will need to earn what they get, if it’s through trade or fighting, but no one gets to start with too much from the very beginning. You need to remember this is an apocalyptic world conquered by aliens who keep separating the humans from each other and capturing them.

B) When it comes to skills, I will ask people to limit their combat skills to 2 as a start. You will always have a chance of learning new skills, but only through IC posts, and at the beginning, the only way will be by learning from each other, and more ways may come later. Just don’t expect that if you do learn a new skill that you will be an expert to it within one post.

3) No matter how good of a shooter or fighter your character may be, most enemies will not be taken down with a single shot (Aliens). As for humans, don’t make your character unbeatable and every NPC they run into a complete loser with a gun aimed at his own head. All chars can be harmed, simple as that.

4) As a beginning, I will only allow people to have 1 char each, but if I see you are active then I will allow you to have more than one. GM’s may have 2 characters as a start, but will also be the ones to mainly control NPC’s, such as the Aliens or random people encountered. From time to time I will give permission to control NPC’s, but be reasonable with their reaction.

5) The GM’s can help in almost any situation, and they were given the status for a reason. If you have any problem with the roleplay you can approach them, and they are the ones who can accept CS’s. If they tell you to do something, they most likely have a good reason for telling you to do so.

6) Character development is quite obviously important, so I will not prevent you from having small plots to your own characters, but when it comes to moving somewhere specific with the entire group, or wanting to go on your own somewhere, you must remember there are risks, as the group may refuse to do so, and going alone anywhere can get you in danger with more ease. Be sure to remember the group you are in is there for a reason.

7) You will be given the option to choose what you wish to have as beginning supplies and weapons (But be wise about what you choose, as we will not give everything at the very start) and you will need to update what your character has whenever something changed (Gained a weapon or ammo, used a bottle of water or a bandage, etc). You will need to make sure that you do not choose to take too much, as I can remind you that carrying a shotgun slows people down more than carrying a pistol, as an example.

Asia - From India's easten border westwards, within the Chad Rotting Kingdom. From India's eastern border eastwards, Alien Patrols and bases (Heavy)
Africa - All of the deserts (Northern part of Africa) are within the Chad Rotting Kingdom. The rest has Alien Patrols and bases (Medium)
Australia - Alien monitored, through patrols and a large base within the center of it. Patrol amounts is Light.
North America - Until Washignton and including, within Chad Rotting Kingdom. From Washington west, Alien patrols (Medium)
South America - Alien monitored by several alien bases throughout it. Patrol amounts is Light.

21/12/2012.
A date so many feared and a lot of people also claimed it was nothing. There were a few meteorite showers around the world on that day, but except for being a fantastic thing to view, there was nothing special about that day. Or so humanity thought.

1/1/2013
Many people were at their home, and some still celebrating the New Year. A lot of people made jokes about what was supposed to be doomsday, but passed like nothing. Most of the people around the world didn’t notice that some people started vanishing.
For the past next few days there was an increase in the number of people vanishing, and the news started to address it. Most people called it “Post Doomsday” as a joke. There was also an increase in people who claimed they saw aliens, but no one believed them. About 2 weeks after the first disappearance, The UN gathered to discuss something only known as “Project Gaia”. This made a lot of people start thinking their own governments have something to do with the disappearances.

25/1/2013
Humanity made first contact with aliens. Or so they thought. They aliens did not say if they come in peace or not, and nor they did give out their name. The only thing the aliens did was to say “Give us the weak, the poor, the elder and the young, and we will make them great”. The governments decided, that because the aliens did not state how many people they wanted, they would each give 1/1000 of their country population. The governments mainly focused on the poor and weak, and about 2 weeks later they delivered the people to the aliens.

12/2/2013
The aliens once again came with the same request. This time the governments stood up to them. The aliens decided to reply to the governments standing up to them by sending in a few ships that started destroying major cities around the world. First was London, then Paris, and followed after it were most of the capitals in Europe. The countries of Europe begged to the other countries to supply the people to the aliens, but the other countries refused.

15/3/2013
The aliens have created their first major base on Earth, and they named it “Beta”. They started sending humans who tried fighting against them in there, and the humans who cooperated with them they sent into their spaceships. Many humans started creating small bases scattered all around the world, But the aliens tried to find those bases as well. Hunters began to appear as well. The aliens also took one of the humans, Chad Rotting, and made him in charge of sending humans to them. He tried getting the population of Earth to cooperate with him, but most of it refused.

3/4/2013
Today. The aliens found the base I was in and now we have to evacuate. I can’t be sure if I will ever manage to write again in this old journal, but if someone else finds it, let there be known that I, Davis Goligon, have fought to my death. And if I’m alive and you are reading this, you better have a god-damned reason for doing so.

Chou Minori

A mission already. Their sensei did not wait a single moment to toss them into some action. So this would allow her to see her team members fight, and learn what do they prefer using and such, as well as perhaps see their weaknesses. She figured that moment she fought it would be easy for them to see the most biggest weakness she has, so she had no point in saying it out loud. Her sensei also pointed out that they needed to take the bandits out, which didn't bother Chou one bit. The less people in the world, the less chance of them getting in her way when she does decides to set out and find what she wants to find.

She took out her smaller scroll and opened it, beginning to look over the tools stored in it, to ensure she hasn't forgotten any tools back at her apartment. Chou decided that until their sensei tells them its time to go, she has time to make sure she is all set to leave, but she didn't want to open the medium scroll in front of her team just yet, hoping to keep its contents a secret from them, for now.

Yoshikuni Sadako

"Well... I am an earth style user, so any lightning jutsus are effective against me, and Water jutsus can also interfere with some of my jutsus. I know how to move underground very well, so thats an advantage, but I do not know how to counter genjutsu too well, and I have never tried fighting with any proper sword, so I have no idea on how will be with those either. Besides that, I don't think there is anything about my weakness and strengths." She said before giving a small smile to both her sensei and teammate.

It took her a couple of moments before she realised she only filled half of what Eiji told them to do "Oh! My name is Yoshikuni Sadako, but people call me Kuni. I grew up here since I was little, and I never knew my dad because he left my mom before I was born, and I helped her since I was little with her business, and managed to travel the world quite a bit while doing so. She died a bit more than a year and a half ago, and I had a hard time dealing with it, but Eiji helped me, and now I live on my own with support from the village, and I am only 14 years old." Kuni said before making sure she stayed next to Eiji and Shiro while on the go. She had no trouble keeping up with them, and she noticed Shiro had no problem either, so at least they had a team of fast travelers.

"Shhh, don't you worry now, Daddy won't be gone for too long. I will bring you a little something on my way back." A fairly tall, white haired man said to the small infant in his hands. Sakamoto still had a hard time believing she was his to take care of, and to raise. Now he understood the joy Zakito and Hiron experienced, and he couldn't have been happier. Knowing he has to leave soon, as he was already late, getting the message over half an hour ago, he begin placing his infant daughter back into her crib, and nodded to the nanny who came to take care of her until Meisa gets home. He heard a small noise from Mayumi, so he bent over and gave her a kiss on her forehead, and as he got up he noticed she was now silent and asleep. Smiling, he went and grabbed his ANBU outfit, made sure he found his mask and left the house.

As he made his way to the Hokage's Office, he wondered what mission Hisoka had for him now. Hoping it won't be something too far away, he sped up and soon enough was standing on a rooftop in front of the office. He jumped from it and landed in front of the window, before going through an open one he found just behind Hisoka's desk after he saw his old friend finishing with another member of the ANBU, Harumi. He approached Hisoka from behind with his mask on his head, but not covering his face, placed his right hand on Hisoka's left shoulder and gave him a smile "Good Morning, Hisoka." He said and took a step back from the Hokage.

Hey there, people of earth! My name is Mr Nim, and I come with an idea I wish to share with everyone!

I'm gonna keep this short and simple as for the general idea : Earth has been conquered by aliens, and most of the population is either captured by aliens, under the rule of a Alien chosen Human, or on the constant run from aliens. There are several types of aliens to encounter, some are more disturbing than others, but its possible to fight all of them (So you won't think its the goddamn Reapers from Mass Effect, and that you need a spaceship to be able to defeat one of them.)

I would love to answer any questions you may have, but for now I shall leave you with a short summary of the background from the eyes (And Diary) of a man in that world.

Kuni nodded her head as she heard Eiji say that they were going to do some heavy training "I have one question, Eiji-sensei." She said, looking at both him and Shiro, and now she appeared to have calmed down a bit "How can we do heavy chakra training? It's not like we can lift chakra or move it without moving ourselves or other people." She said, and tried thinking about how would it be possible.

She then thought about the fact he asked them to try and avoid using any jutsus on their way there, making her slightly annoyed, as she realised it meant it was going to be a boring trip on the way there, unless her teammate decided to make small talk and then they would be able to get to know each other. Giving the two a smile, she raised her fist in the air "Besides that question, I am ready to go, so you can answer my question on the way there!" She said and lowered her fist, keeping the smile on her face.

Chou Minori

Coming down from the tree after their sensei introduced herself and made a clear observation of the last thing each member did, Chou thought about saying that she can punish her all she wanted, but decided that would be a waste of time, as it will probably lead to a punishment, which she would not perform, and then more punishments, thus leading the two into an endless cycle. Approaching her sensei and team members, she did not pay attention to what Haruhi said, no did she care. After she arrived next to them, she took out her small scroll, placed it on the ground open and the Bo staff next to it before doing a few seals and placing her hand on the scroll, making the Bo staff disappear.

Getting up from the ground, she noticed Haruhi had finished speaking, and wondered if it meant they now expected Chou to speak. She let out a small sigh before speaking "My name is Chou." She said and afterwards turned to look at Rai, waiting to "hear" what he has to say. She did not intend to let any of them know what her goals were unless she thought they could be of use.
