Kai was ready in a matter of moments, She pretty much always wore most of her suit unless she was working in her Dojo. She grabbed a small briefcase and slipped on her utility belt and filled its compartments with her various weapons. Lastly she unsheathed her Katana from its travel case and slipped it into the sheath built directly into the back of her suit.
"I'm ready," Mako said as she popped the collar of her suit up to cover her nose and mouth. All that was left was to wait for Honey to show up and then the group of misfit avengers could get to work doing their real job, protecting the city.

Zim was impressed by the effectiveness of that maneuver. Taking the adrenaline of the success, Zim pushed past the pain of the continued damage, and relied even more heavily on his experience to continuing his fight. Blackstar was still in fighting condition, but Mai's framework was was worse for wear, and so was Mai. The confirmation of Zim's fears came when her voice changed and she addressed everyone as Seven, announcing the Ash to Ash protocol.
Katya Gave Orders, it was what Zim would have done. He started Blackstar on the path to the Tentacle Beast in F2, he searched on his way for something to throw, the tentacle beast had the obvious advantage in melee combat with its long reaching grappling tentacles. He would need to do something to keep those busy, and throwing something seemed like the best solution. While he searched, he talked on the open comm.
"Seven, stand down on Ash to Ash. You still have ammo left, right? You don't get to give up until you've run out of ammo. Put the trigger down and pick up your guns and fight! Paladin is going to give you support, after that we'll work on getting you fixed up. I know that Mai doesn't want to die, and neither do you. I could care less about your frame, when you run out of ammo, you take up your sabers, and when all else fails, that is when you can get out of that frame and push the button. You get out and you link up with the PDF and keep fighting."
By now Zim would hopefully have found a car or truck or something similar to throw at the tentacle beast and start speeding up his pace towards his target.
"We aren't here for glory. We aren't really even here for revenge. We are here to protect the innocent people of this planet, no matter the cost! But you don't get to sell yourself short, there are still people to protect, and there are still ways for you to fight. So fight on soldier!"
By now Zim should be in range of the Tentacle Beast. First he would switch his scythe into spear mode and then he would lob the car at the tentacle beast and push his thrusters to launch Blackstar forward with as much speed as he could. He would thrust his spear out hoping to pierce through the center of the tentacle beast, if successful he would draw the spear back out and revert it back to scythe and start hacking away at what ever left of the tentacle beast, start first with the tentacles, and then moving on to its head. If the tentacle beast wasn't distracted by the car, then he would use the spear to parry as many of the tentacles as possible as he attempted to avoid getting grappled.

guh, had a post a good part of the way through, typing with an injured finger, and then I hit a magic combination of buttons that closed chrome. pretty sure that was ctrl w... which shouldn't do anything! Anyways, lets try this again...

Hmm, that's true. Does make it a bit tough to indirect target something in the air.... Use Magus's car toss idea? Also, once my wave surger cools and recharges I have a medium range energy weapon. But that is four turns from now. And I have to be within the mist firing range to use it. So suicide mission for Zero, potentially.

OK, Joppa team. First order of business we need to discuss is getting paladin out of firing range. But what next? My initiAl thought would be to fire on the three CWMs about to eat Mai. But there is also the option of starting the indirect barrage on the Mist, which seams like an important thing to address. I feel like caregiver can deal with the tentacle beast. I'll deal with the tentacle beast in F2. So, I would recommend Elora keep up scanning and staying alive. Learn as much as we can about those around us. So. Paladin, if you have enough range, move from the building and start bombardment AROUND mist. Blow stuff up around it to do AOE damage. Blow up barrels, yo. Except that Mai is immobilized, so level the cwm, if you have the range to do it. Caregiver, how much range do your medibots have? If possible get them to fixing up Mai.
