MST3k, your character's age doesn't match up with the timeline. If she had been an adolescent before the outbreak, she'd be quite a bit older by now. It's been more than forty years after all.

Made some edits so it should make more sense.
Edwin's reply is up!
Edwin was duly impressed with how Elise was handling the situation. She was not afraid to go toe to toe with Alexis and made it very clear she wanted nothing to do with the media. Edwin would've continued smirking but then he looked back in the kitchen and Elsie comforting her sister. It was at that moment Edwin no longer saw himself as a homicide detective, but he saw two girls who weren't much older than his own daughters. Edwin felt another aspect of his life in him coming to the surface, and it was time for Alexis to see that side of him, and that side was that of a protective father.

He looked at Alexis and said, "I think Miss Williams has made her feelings blatantly clear, and if she hasn't then allow me to do so." Edwin felt his backbone stiffen as he imagined his own daughters going through this and said, "The people in this town are a very tight community. They already have a low opinion of the media and all the attention that this has generated. They know what the facts are about the people who live here. They know these girls and the hell that they're going through and they want to help by giving them their space and dealing with the truth of the situation not the people who have been hurt by it. If you write one thing that is not true or causes these young ladies or their family any further distress I will bury you. I have a lawyer in the family works for a firm in Houston. She'd be willing to do dome pro-bono work for her little brother, and considering she's a mom herself she won't be happy with you."

Edwin pulled out the handcuffs and said, "You have to the count of five to be heading off of this porch and to your car. Otherwise I will cuff you and ride you in on my Harley. Your call." He took a deep breath and said, "1,2,3,..."
Jon sat there as he watched Wes not just give his interpretation of Paddy, but he became Paddy right before his eyes. Jon wasn't thrilled about the camera phone angle, but the audio was crystal clear and the film was rolling. Jon was enthralled with Wes as Paddy and he knew that he found his guy. As sure as Marvel knew they had their Iron Man when Downey Jr auditioned and Nolan knew Bale was his Batman Jon knew he had has Paddy.

When he was done Jon didn't even wait he sent the video to his lawyer Harvey Kirshlight and said to Wes, "Wes you're my guy period end of discussion. I'd rather let the film go unmade than have someone else play the lead. You nailed the character in that one scene it's everything I want. This guy is focused in on his family above all. I got that from you and that is what drives him you picked up on that. This could be a film franchise for you I got no doubt about it."

Just then his phone rang and he saw it was Harv. Jon looked at Wes and said, "You can stay for this." Jon cut on the speaker to his phone and asked, "So do I get my 'you were right and I was wrong to doubt you' or is it gonna be 'You told me so and you were right'? Which one Harv?"

Harv replied, "JT what I saw was brilliant. There is no doubt that Wes has got this character down and was born to play him."

Jon smiled and nodded then Harv said, "Too bad he'll never get the chance."

Jon looked at the phone and asked, "Why?"

Harv said, "Plain and simple Warners wants Depp. They are really playing hardball on this one, and you can't say you'll go to Universal over this. It'll take another 3-6 months to reset everything, and not to mention if you play hard-ball on this project you're gonna hurt your reputation on this one. I have a deal in place for Wes but it's shoddy and full of holes. Warners is gonna force you to play ball with them their way on this one."

Jon looked at Wes for a moment and he shook his head. He pointed to Wes and mouthed "You're my guy."

Jon turned his attention back to the phone and said, "All-right let's make a counter offer."

Harv replied, "Jon you're in a baseball game and you just told your pitcher to go strike out the side blindfolded. What do you got?"

Jon nodded and said, "If they let me have Wes and leave me alone on 'Bound by Blood' then..." Jon took a deep breath and exhaled as he looked to the ceiling and said, "They can have Aquaman. I'll let them have the sequel rights, merchandising, the whole thing they can take my name off of it. Basically I am trading that franchise for this one. I know the studio wanted more input on the sequel, so I'll give them everything on the condition they leave this one alone."

Harv exhaled deeply on the phone and said, "Jon that move will either make or break your career. You are trading a 450 million dollar franchise for a film series that hasn't even shot one frame. Are you sure about this? Because I can tell you if you are Warners will give you what you want on this one."

Jon replied with a great deal of confidence in his voice, "Make it happen Harv. Let's get the ink on the contracts oh and Wes's stipulations they are written in the contract,"

Harv said, "All right JT. I'll call the studios I'll text you later tonight when we'll meet with them. If it falls through I'll call you."

Jon replied, "All-right Harv rock it for me."

Jon ended the call and closed his eyes and shook his head for a moment. He looked at Wes and said, "I believe in you Wes. In the end I made the best deal I could to get this thing off the ground. I'm gonna get I wanted I firmly believe that and I have no regrets."

Jon stood up and said, "Enough business for the night. Let's go have some fun and..." Just then Jon's phone vibrated he pulled it out and then smiled. He looked at Wes and said, "We meet tomorrow morning at 10 am to sign the deal." Jon gave Wes the thumbs up and said, "Let's go have some fun. Not to much though we got a meeting tomorrow morning."

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Occupation: Peace Keeper

Appearance: Veronica has long flaming red hair, green eyes, and stands about 5’6”. She has an athletic build, wears a black leather duster, hiking boots, a white t-shirt, a belt with several pouches on it, and black jeans. Her prized possession is her black fedora and a digital watch that was given to her by her father. There is something off about the way she stands and the way she walks. Veronica doesn’t

Personality Traits: Veronica doesn’t say a whole lot she is very introspective, but when she does speak she means what she says. Inspite of her quiet nature Veronica does have a sarcastic streak that she isn’t afraid to use on friend or foe alike. Veronica believes that there is always a way to win in any situation she refuses to just give up. The crew she works alongside she views them as family, and they have her loyalty to the end. However if you ever cross her that’s it there is no second chance, and she will look for a chance for payback one way or another.

Brief History: Veronica was a tomboy who grew up in a small town in Arizona named Grantham Falls where justice was usually found at the barrel of a gun or any other weapon you could find. Veronica's parents ingrained in her the principals of right and wrong and to always choose "the right thing" whenever humanly possible. Both her parents were killed when she was very young and Veronica grew up with her Grandparents who were in the military. They knew they wouldn't be around but for so long, so they taught her everything they could about survival & combat She lived in a very closed off community that wasn't welcoming of outsiders and relied very much on one another. Overtime Veronica;s sense of right and wrong began to take hold and was appointed as Sheriff. She did what she could to maintain law and order within the community and most of the people respected her. During a “situation” at one of the local bars on a Friday night though Veronica was shot in the left leg by a sawed off shotgun. She lost the leg but was fitted with an artificial leg, and it didn’t affect her ability to do her job.

Overtime Veronica discovered how much corruption and deceit made up the town, and she did what she could to try and stop it. However it was just too much and Veronica was dying inside, so she declared the town beyond repair and walked away. She drifted about helping where she could because her sense of right and wrong pushed her on, but she had no real focus in what she was doing. It wasn’t until she Boyd Devereaux IV and he offered her a postion within the Peace Keepers.

Specializes in: Explosives and hand to hand combat in closed quarters.

Weaponry: Sticks of dynamite in her belt and coat, a Sig Sauer, and a baseball bat.

Other: There are times today though that Veronica has trouble dealing with her leg, and those issues are more psychological than physical. As much as she has fought many battles alone Veronica hates being by herself for long periods of time.

Thank you kindly kind Sir. It's really getting good now with Ryan and Luke, keep it up mate

Back at ya my friend!

I make my way down the alley and feel strangely safe inspite of the fact that I'm in an alley at night with no gun, an illegal file, rebels and police shooting at one another, and I'm getting ready to commit myself to an act of treason against the Government I've sworn to defend. Yep perfectly safe except now I see someone dressed in dark navy clothing. Either he is here to join as well or he is the single worst lookout in the history of Espionage. As I approach I see that he's a young man and is clearly nervous. Time to ease this poor soul's apprehension.

I say as I get close enough, "Relax you're safe the police won't bother you as long as I'm here." I get in front of him and say, "Prefect Martin Wallace. Don't worry if I was gonna arrest you on suspicion or some other charge I would've done it by now, and I wouldn't be coming down this alley alone. Relax we're here because we got the same note and we're looking to make certain changes in our lives." I give the young man a smile and say, "I know who our contact is I'll bring him out and we'll get things under way."

I walk over to a near by metal door and pound on it twice. Luckily with the action going on only those of us in the alley can hear us. After I pound on the door I say, "The 'shrooms on that last steak sandwich were little skimpy." I step back and the door opens I can familiar features as the door slowly opens, and then I see a smile as out steps Mario.

He is now shaking his head and says, "You try getting fresh mushrooms in this place. You're lucky you get any on most days." We smile at each other and Mario says, "Good to see Marty. Tell how did you know it was me?"

I reply, "When I came in this afternoon Angela said hi to me and there was sudden silence. Mario in all the years I've known you and been to your place that is the first time I've ever heard the kitchen that quiet. I figured that you slipped out the back and dropped the note in my pocket. Only someone who knows me could've known that was my coat."

Mario turns to the young man and says, "This guy he's so smart." He clasps his left hand on my right cheek and says, "I love you Marty. Like you were my own son I love you. You're gonna be a major asset for our cause. You're gonna do great things I just know it."

I chuckle and say, "I just wanna make a difference that's all I want papa. Oh here is the file you requested." I reach into my vest, pull out the file, and give it to Mario. The file in question is about the raid that was conducted against Mario's son-in-law and his friends. Mario takes the file and says, "Thank you Marty. Thank you very much. This will bring much closure to the family. Are you sure that you were careful?"

I nod and say, "Being a Prefect does have certain privileges. Besides the case against Eddie is over and the file was put in storage. There are over 250,000 case files they won't miss one if they do I'll deal with it."

Mario nods and says, "Very well Marty. Now I'll give you something." He pulls out a copy of the book A tale of two cities it gives it to me. Mario says, "This a great book. read it and study it carefully Marty. It teaches about revolution and the costs that we expect of our members to pay. You will learn a new way to think, how to see things you haven't seen before, and how faith in humanity can take on many forms. Don't let us down Marty."

I look Mario in the eye and say, "It is a far far better thing that I do than I have ever done." I smile and Mario smiles back as he knows that I am already familiar with the book and he says slapping his right hand on my left cheek and says, "This guy. I love him love him!"

Mario turns to the young man who has been so patiently waiting and asks, "And you young man what is your name? I know his story now I want to know yours. Talk to us we brothers in arms."
Let's do this.
