Nakaruma nodded, seating himself before the Emperor. "We have started our reforms. We will further industrialize our country's infrastructure." The Emperor sipped his tea. Listening closely to what his prime minister was saying. "Further, we have also set up a program that will allow for our army to receive better training. Our naval expansion plans are going as planned. If all goes as planned, we will be able to expand the empire's territory onto the mainland very soon." The Emperor nodded in approval. "We must also ensure that our population is content. The stability of the empire is the greatest priority. We must secure our future for our children."

"Hao Bing Dynasty seems to be descending further and further into instability. I worry that if the dynasty collapses, certain groups might set their eyes upon Oyashima." The Emperor said. "And if that day comes. The Imperial Navy must be ready to defend our islands. If you must, set up more aggressive policies of industrialization. Build more ports, whatever you must to bring more jobs to our people. But to further strengthen our military power."

The Prime Minister bowed. "Yes my Emperor."

Official Government Name: Empire of Oyashima
Head of State: Emperor Edo Watanabe & Prime Minister Itsuki Nakamura
Capital City: Akagi - The crown jewel of the Empire. Akagi sits in a bay where it is also home to the 1st Imperial Fleet. Home to several million individuals, Akagi is a sprawling metropolis where concrete buildings sit next to age old temples and wooden houses. It is the beating heart of the Empire and the seat of government and the Imperial Court.

Basic Demographics: The Oyashiman Empire is an island nation with a very homogeneous population. During it's rapid industrialization, the empire was struggling to find its own identity. As it saw its age old culture being replaced by more civilized norms. The empire is quite unique in the respect that it still retains many traditional customs from it's bygone days, even as a civilized nation. It's warrior creed reflects the hard working mentality of the people and society.

Being the first nation in its region to industrialize, it automatically became the most powerful nation within it's region, and soon, occupied some of the surrounding territories and assimilated them into the Oyashiman empire.

As an island nation, formed by one main island(s), along with various smaller islands, the sea is it's main frontier. Which is why the Empire of Oyashima needed to establish a powerful shipbuilding industry, since it's the lifeline of the empire. Which is also why it has an equally powerful navy in order to protect and enforce its borders and interests. Assembling arguably the largest and most powerful naval force in history. Even though they are highly industrialized, they are still just opening up to the rest of the world.

The nation that has been occupied by the Oyashins are content with their occupiers. While other islands had been made official provinces of the empire and its people, citizens of the empire. There is still some things left to do in order to truly make the non Oyashin-people feel welcome within the empire. The military is gearing up for an expansion in order to obtain more resources to fuel and expand the empire's industries. But also i na quest to be recognized and treated as an equal.
