I was thinking about it in the context of you mentioning that Drakken females are rather rare, and Drakken's would naturally desire females of their own kind above Gems, so naturally a Drakken daughter would be a valuable asset to any family. I also was considering her relationship to the female Gems, even though Drakken females probably don't have any more rights than the Gem brides, she would probably still consider herself to be in a more elevated position and would likely be cruel to them (interesting if she ended up the wife of someone with Gem wives as well) and since there weren't any Drakken females in the RP yet I thought it would make an interesting addition.

Drakken women have more rights than Gems, and are usually treated better. So I can see how she would feel more deserving than the Gem brides

Interesting, though I'm not sure how the female Drakken would work. She won't be able to get a Gem (unless her brother wishes to use her as a bargaining chip and gives her to a Drakken noble).

No worries, as Obscene Symphony said. It's acting, I know that we aren't as crazy as our characters. I'm not going to judge what a character does and think the person playing that character is messed up.

What are the capabilities of our characters to use their elements? Nadia can't be strong enough to make an entire room go up in flames instantly can she?

That would kill Nadia if she tried, a Drakken can do that but they would be weakened after doing so.
There is no leveling, like "Oh that person there is a level three fire Gem or Drakken." Basically if it sounds complicated or would require a lot of energy to do it, it's probably something a Gemminite wouldn't do.
