Current In the beginning were the Words, and the Words made the world. I am the Words. The Words are everything. Where the Words end the world ends. You cannot go forward in an absence of space. Repeat.

Call me Ginger!

Future veterinarian, presently irreverently funny self-deprecator and literature hobbyist.
Casual-advanced. 1x1 and Group RP, no preference.
Up to make mischief, make memories, and make a fool of myself.
And maybe roleplay a little on the side. :)
Dating @Mateotis who is much more active than I am here, but also decidedly a much more gifted writer/poet. Hound him if you're looking for me.
A little sickly and evidently severely lacking in impulse-control, so patience is appreciated in general.

I'll remain forever royal,
I'll repay my parents' debt.

It seems my house isn't where I spend most of my time, nowadays. I'll be going in to watch a surgery on a dog''s eye this Thursday at the veterinary hospital I'm interning(doctor shadowing?) at. Fun fun fun!
Will try to post super soon and catch up with all the news, pronto!
@Summer Does everyone forget Shou owns both Romeo and Jinxie. Sobsobsob. << Jinxie currently is the only female dog, too, actually.

...and she's the smallest of the lot. Romeo is pretty big since he's a G-Shep cross. She's a snuggly wuggly little Jack Russell, inspired by a dog I saw win the obstacle course event at a dog show I went to, once, called Dumbo. :') That thing was like a bullet, and so is Jinxie.
There's so much I reveal about Shou OOC, I should probably start adding it to his bio.

Jinxie is his ex-girlfriend'a dog originally. He chose to keep her since they lived together, anyway. Shou bought the house out of the bustle of the city to start a family with Alex someday. Alessandra has Alex as a nickname for some bizarre reason. The older professors at the academy might know her, and him, when they were studying there. She was a physics major whereas he did biology.
Welp!
I've dropped in after a day of events, that's for sure. I usually agree to the rule Narcy (Or as she's more formally known, @Narcotic Dollie, but that's not important pshhhht) has in mind. Wait for at least two others to post before making your second post. However, this being kept in mind, usually it's okay if a certain number of hours have passed and nobody has posted in them. Say, like 8 maybe? << I don't quite know. I personally usually don't manage more than one/two posts a day at the very best because of what my days are usually like now.

As for @KRAZY J, my boy, 9 Hours 9 Doors 9 Persons is a DS game originally, but since I only heard of it probably long after it stopped selling (and the DS never really had an Eshop like the 3DS does), I emulated it. Bought the sequel so I'm still on Mr. Uchikoshi's (the man behind the games) nice list. :D

My recommended emulator is DeSmuME
And here is a ROM you can probably use. :)
It's not really a horror game, but if you're into mystery thrillers, it's a really, really wide ride. It also appeals to the budding scientist in me, so be prepared to have your mind blown a little time and again, too. I really love it.
Make sure to watch a playthrough of, if not buy, the sequel: Virtue's Last Reward on the EStore (if you have a 3DS). Again, I'm sure it won't disappoint!

There also is a great PSP emulator you could use to play some more games. A popular one I LOVE to bits is Corpse Party, which you've probably heard of. Why not, actually, indulge yourself in some Dangan Ronpa, then? This is a hands-down amazing game. Absolutely no regrets, and I'm watching a playthrough of the second game! :D Make sure not to search anything Dangan Ronpa related online, because the internet is a minefield.
And while you're on that, you can always go and start playing the games from the Ace Attorney series. Start with the first one and I'm sure you'll get hooked enough to play Justice For All (this one is slow but you kinda need to bulldoze through it), and then the final one, Trials and Tribulations, which is, absolutely absolutely orgasmic in quality. I highly recommend it if you love having your mind blown and solving mysteries.

If you're looking for games I recommend in general, there's always a couple of classics I love recommending to everyone. Got the time? Boot up and play, baby! The ones I'll list down here are the free ones I know:

  • Ib has always, always been a favourite of mine. You're a little girl who gets lost in a very interesting art gallery, which swallows you up and happens to come to life...
It's a lot more interesting than I'm making it sound. Trust me, it's a must-play.
  • The Witch's House is another amazing (if mildly frustrating!) game in the similar style. 10/10 for the SUPER RANDOM JUMPSCARES, one of which I was not expecting at all, and so it made me jump away from the laptop (I was sleeping over at friends', how embarrassing) and curl up into a ball, rocking back and forth and sobbing. I had to be comforted. AND OH THE STORYLINE.
  • Yume Nikki is a game I more preferred to watch on YouTube rather than play through myself, but if you like mindless ambling about and a...surprisingly obscure, touching storyline, be my guest.
  • Mad Father was a game I thought started off ridiculously slow. A friend and I were playing through it together, but ended up stopping a little after starting because it was going too slow. If you get past that, however, you're really good to go and actually encounter a game with another interesting storyline.
  • Misao, personally, was the most forgettable game in this list for me. I almost forgot to include it! But it's a horror too, and the endings are different depending on the choices you make. I don't know for sure, but apparently once you finish the game and all the endings, you can play through it again...but with your character as a male. Kawaii kawaii desu!
  • The Crooked Man and its sequel, The Sandman are some of my favourites, though they're a lot less 'fleshy' by themselves as the other games. Which makes sense, since they're part of a series called the Strange Men series, created by Uri. My friend Alex played these with me two, and we both are stoked for the third game in the series, called The Boogeyman. Aaaah!

To The Moon is also an amazing game. It's not free, and costs some on Steam, but I wholly recommend anyone who's got a soft side check out at least a playthrough on YouTube. It made me cry. The soundtrack is beautiful, and the story incredibly unique, and it's executed in such an amazing fashion, if the beginning's a little slow. Trust me on this one, it gets better and better and more feelsy as you go.
Digital: A Love Story and its sequel, which I did buy off Steam, Analogue: A Hate Story can both be purchased, I assume. Or you could torrent them like horrible people. I really loved Digital, because...it made me emotional for something I didn't expect. Might have also shaped little old me to become as I am, too.
Hatoful Boyfriend. Whoever you are, you need to get Hatoful Boyfriend right now. Because it's the best visual novel you'll ever play. You're dating pigeons? So what. Take my honest opinion for it, you haven't even started playing the game until the game's over, and then the real surprise begins. You just need to stick it out till then, and who knows, you might even find yourself attached to the birds...

If you're more of a flash game kinda person, I got your back. Check these out whenever you got some time. Some games that I thought were brilliant, witty, or just plain beautifully executed:

  • No One Has to Die AHHHHH AMAZING I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU. Gets the point by perfectly.
  • The Game, and then Replaying the game and then a third one :')
  • The Company of Myself and its prequel, Fixation both remain in my heart always as some of the games that stood out a lot to me.
  • Pretentious Game and the others in the series, there are about four I think.
  • Deep Sleep, and then Deeper Sleep and The Deepest Sleep! These ones really make you think!
  • Don't Escape, and then you can play Don't Escape 2, and then Don't Escape 3.
  • You Find Yourself In A Room, for someone who's quite sapiosexual, like me, the artificial intelligence in this game made me swoon. But...but that comes naturally, I suppose, when most advanced artificial intelligences turn you on...
  • And for anyone just looking for a lot of cutesy flash animations to watch, might I recommend: There she is!!! which is indeed an absolute gem of a piece of work. It originally didn't start off as a series, but now that it is, and there are only five parts, I wholly, STRONGLY recommend you go watch them all. :) It's mostly wordless but the emotions are conveyed so clearly, I get goosebumps even thinking about it.

And if I've forgotten anything amazing, don't be afraid to let me know, ladies and gents. :) That much should keep you busy for AGES.
@ViolentViolet Oh, no. << Hold on, I think there's a misunderstanding.
...all I was saying was to change the character tab sheet's name spelled "Rosa" to "Roza". Give it another check! I might be wrong (my eyesight might fail me), but it's still spelled Rosa there, so I'd wondered if you'd just forgotten, that's all. :)
@ViolentViolet
Oh, maybe I didn't catch it earlier. o.o Didn't you and Dynamo discuss how there are two characters with Rosa as a nickname so it might get confusing referring to either?
How was that resolved, out of curiosity? Did we give Rosanna a new nickname or did we change Rosa's name to Roza (I remember you saying that was the Russian equivalent so it'd be easy to let it fly).
@ViolentViolet Ah! Her name is Roza then, yes? <<
Perhaps that's to be changed, yes.

EDIT: @Dynamo Frokane
I KNOW BOSS, I KNOW. RETREAT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

she's scary and that's that.
not cute. never cute.
@IrishAngelQueen Oh boy, do I know about boredom x.x Especially waiting for an RP to update, it feels like torture!

Though! Ryva should be good to post right about now! :D Well...for the events that happen in the morning. I'm sure @Knight of Doom is super busy and swept off their feet, and will be back ASAP. I'm also sure they won't mind us moving on like that, because we won't involve their character later so it becomes too much of a hassle and a load when they're back.

I recommend playing/watching playthrougha of this game, 9 Hours 9 Doors 9 Persons. Even, Dangan Ronpa. I'm watching a playthrough of the second Dangan Ronpa game right now. Haven't finished it, so no spoilers, anyone!
IT'S 11:30 AM AND SOMEONE JUST EMAILED ME BACK I THINK I JUST GOT ACCEPTED BY A CLINIC BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY WANTED TO SEE ME THIS IS AMAZING OH MY GOD I'M GOING IN ON TUESDAY THIS IS CRAZY
@Dynamo Frokane Roger, I can see Rosanna, sexy as always. :)

oh god but boss I'm terrible at that sort of stuff aaaah

...I think I found this, buried in my memories somewhere. << It was a really nice game, Steambot Chronicles...

Boop!

Whatcha think, boss? I'm sorry if it ain't what you thought ;;
I have a moment to myself today, and it's been the first all week. Whew! :) Busy busy, huh, boss? @Shohmyoh
I'm still here, too. We're waiting on one more player, yes?
