History: Born to a military family, Lancaster grew up accustomed to strict military regimes. Thus, at age eighteen, Avis had no choice but to join the UNSC. While the rest of his family had been part of the UNSC Marine Corp, Avis choice to join the Air Force. There, he spent five years training in vehicle operation and the use of long ranged weaponry.
Eventually, Avis requested transfer to the Marine Corp. Where he would spend the next six years perfecting his aim as an Marine MP. Avis wasn't so much asked to join Project Freelancer, as he was drafted. Having been pulled directly out of combat and notified of the situation en-route to the facility. As one of, if not [i]the[/] first recruit(s), Lancaster, as Alaska, has become one of the most infamous members of the group over the years.
Personality: AK is easily one of the most unforgiving Freelancers of the lot. As his years of military experience have hardened him into an cold and calculating individual. While he often appears as the shiny example of what a spartan should be to his superiors, in terms of his performance in the field. His fellow Freelancers view Alaska as an attention whore. As he has a tendency to make situations more difficult than they need to be, so that he can boast if he manages to prevail.
Snowball, as his allies mockingly call him, is also some what of an sadist. As he enjoys messing with his enemy's before killing them. He is also noted as being cocky, often referring to himself as 'the king' when among his fellow Spartans. Despite this, Alaska usually jealous of his teammates. Viewing them as kids who get to play. As he feels he that he has to continuously push himself, without rest, if he is going to continue to live up to the expectations of his superiors.
