Typecasting in RPs

I find that I often play stern brooding commanders in regards to personality; almost always human in race. Different races never really appealed to me nor did super natural powers. I think self typecasting is normally just the result of a creator's desire to role play a character which they themselves are not only comfortable with but also enjoying playing and a person will usually be drawn to create a character using similar, if not the same personality traits and niches because of this.

Being typecast by others is a whole another subject.

Let's B!tch. I feel it's a healthy release for our annoyances.

I dislike the fact that the "1x1" section is almost exclusively dominated by horny teenagers who are only interested in "roleplaying" through personal messages. Surely there is another website solely dedicated to that purpose.

Wanted: Partner For (Non-Erotic) Dark Fantasy Roleplay

I am looking for people with a passion for writing to roleplay with. I will start by saying that I am not interested in erotic roleplay so it goes without saying that the gender of the roleplayer and their character is unimportant to me in that context.

I would like a partner to write at least a paragraph per post and to mainly use one character although appearances of other minor characters for story and protagonist development are welcome.

My roleplay ability is casual/advanced and I don't like OP elements, instead I am more interested in relatively non powerful characters. I would most likely act as the game master. My roleplays usually include necromantic and demonic themes. I have various ideas that I'll be happy to share with anyone who is interested and I am open to other ideas as well. We can go into more detailed plots and character ideas once there is interest.
