If Oprah Winfrey runs for president and wins we're screwed. Well, men are anyway. It will suck to be a man in an Oprah-run dystopia. Trump is a fairy princess compared to how bad she'll f*** us.

First test of the semester and the professor weighs down the hardest question with a 30 point value. As a self harming individual, knowing that I missed it, out comes the hammer tonight.

Your phone has a volume lowering button, FUCKING USE IT. This is a library by the eight.
On the adjacent street nearby, a soldier was walking his route. He was rather husky, yet broad and sturdy at the same time, with a slightly rounded midsection, and a wide set of shoulders and thick arms to go with it. He had a bushy black beard that all but shrouded his mouth.
He was armed with a short sword and a shield, his sword was sheathed and his shield strapped securely to his left arm.
As patrolled his street, a sudden urge struck him, a call of nature to be precise. He stopped and looked both ways, ensuring no one was out and about or could see him, this included both civilians and his fellow soldiers.
Once he was sure know one would see him, he scuttled away into a nearby alley, sliding his shield off from his arm and reaching intently hit his belt and overlying tunic.
Meanwhile, back at the lush manor house, the party below continued, the homeowners and their guests all unaware of the thieves that were sneaking about the house.
Suddenly, a barking could be heard. A chorus of barking actually.
One of the upstairs rooms had a pair of large, sleek, lean dogs, which one of the thieves it seems had disturbed, and now they were alert and barking loudly and furiously, their barking interlaced with snarls and growling.
The music downstairs slightly wavered, and several concerned voices could be heard chattering away down below. This was immediately followed by the sound of heavy footsteps on the stairs as the dogs continued to bark and growl.
It was a dark, gloomy night. The stars were veiled by a heavy sheet of clouds that rolled across the night sky.
A cool, gentle breeze whistled through the air, rustling tree branches and leaves, and sending a ghostly sound through the night.
The city of Galladorm was all but dead, the citizens all locked away within their homes, sheltered from the chilly breeze and the ominous sky above. Businesses across town were all locked up for the night, their doors locked and latched and their windows shuttered to.
Aside from the burning street lamps and lanterns, and specks of light from the windows of several homes, there was little sign of life in the city.
The streets were empty aside from the occasional cart or stray dog or cat. And of course the city watch, the soldiers of Galladorm, who patrolled the gloomy streets tonight, as they do every other night, be it rain, shine, or snow.
One of them passed by a burning street lamp, his red tunic, silvery chain mail armor, and steel domed helmet all shone brightly beneath the flames. He carried in his right hand a sharp, wicked looking halberd. He held it straight up as he walked, only allowing the bottom of the wooden shaft to tap the cobblestone street as he walked. The low thump from the shaft accompanied by his footsteps all echoed down the deserted street. His head swiveled from left to right in constant, as he eyed over the homes he passed by, keeping vigilant for any possible trouble, whatever it might be.
So then, I have been inspired to write a low-fantasy Roleplay centered around an assassin and their perilous, bloody story.
Unfortunately, I have a list of different premises and story lines, and I am unable to choose which one I like the best. More importantly, I can't decide which one might be the most appealing to my fellow writers and would draw their interest and attention.
So, I have decided to list them below separately, bear in mind that I am totally open to any one of these, so if any of them interest you, then please make your decision and contact me, preferably through PM.
There are three separate story lines to choose from.
Please bear in mind that what you see below is only very basic descriptions of each. I will have a more in-depth rundown and a deep plot-line description for when I am contacted.
I also have maps, lore, and basic information about the world and setting, which I will disclose to those who contact me and convey their interest.
This story line tells the tale of a young orphaned child who has turned beggar and thief in the streets of the city, begging for coin and food by day and thieving by night, breaking into homes and lifting valuables and food in the dead of night.
Having lived on the streets for so long, this child has become a self taught thief, honing skills such as pick-pocketing, cutting purses, lock picking, and sneaking through the shadows.
One night, this child breaks into a rather ritzy looking home in the cities' wealthier district, unknowing that this house holds a sinister secret.
The house itself is actually unfurnished and abandoned, and holds the secret entrance to an underground lair of sorts, which turns out to be the sanctuary of a secret order of assassins hiding beneath the city.
The child is caught by one of the assassins while sneaking through the house, and is taken down to the sanctuary before the Blade Master(the leader of the assassin order).
The Blade Master however is very impressed by the child's skills, as well as their wile and spirit.
The Blade Master then gives the child three separate options; one, they can kill him/her and dump them in the sewer, two, they can hand the child over to the guards where the child then will be thrown in prison to rot, or three, they can willingly join the assassins and be apprenticed to one of them.
The child will obviously choose option three.
The story will then time-skip to a decade later. The once lowly little urchin is now a trained killer without a conscious.
The story will start off rather simple and straight forward, but soon after, a deep, twisting plot will develop that will plunge the order of assassins into a swirling rift of uncertainty and overwhelming decision, a rift that will challenge their ability, spirit, and devotion.
ROGUE
So, this particular plot is centered around a thief who is newly arrived in the city.
He/She sees a ripe opportunity in this large city, which is a hub of trade and commerce in the realm, and is home to many wealthy nobles and merchants. There is surely a valuable amount of wealth to be seized, from goods and merchandise to coin and jewelry.
When in the midst of a heist/burglary, the thief is discovered due to a simple "formality", and they immediately find themselves being chased through the streets and alleys by the city guards. The thief ends up being cornered in an alley by several guards, and is on the verge of being arrested, when a mysterious cloaked figure arrives and easily kills the guards.
They motion for the thief to follow them. Given little choice, the thief follows, and this cloaked figure leads them to a mysterious house in a wealthy district.
The masked being reveals themself as an assassin, and that they saved the thief because, despite them being nearly caught, they were impressed by their skill and see potential in them for a new recruit.
They offer two alternatives at that point, the thief can follow them down into the secret sanctuary of the assassin order, or he/she can be killed on the spot and left to rot in an alleyway, as the secret of the sanctuary cannot be known to an outsider.
The thief will of course agree, and they will then be taken down into the underground sanctuary and brought before the Blade Master(leader of the assassin order).
The Blade Master will more or less size up and evaluate the thief, and will also give them an assassination contract, as a test of their ability and worthiness.
The story will then progress freely from there, at the design of my partner and I.
VENGEANCE FROM THE ASHES
This is the third and final storyline to choose from, and is perhaps the most intense, with the sole theme of this story being bloodshed and hate.
This story is actually centered around a mercenary, rather than an assassin.
The mercenary, played by my partner, is newly arrived to the city, having came here looking for employment.
They first arrive at night, not long after the sun has set, only to find the city streets empty, and not a soul to be seen aside from the city guards on patrol.
The mercenary is walking down a narrow street in the common quarter, looking for an inn or tavern to spend the night. The mercenary is suddenly attacked by a pair of cloaked figures, and is nearly killed until the city guards arrive and the attackers flee.
After ensuring the newcomer is alright, the guards escort him/her to the nearby inn, along the way, they inform the mercenary to watch his/her back, and that these days the city is not safe, especially at night. Within the past year the city has been plagued by some sort of cult or band of deviants. They have committed a number of atrocities across the city; murdering people I'm the streets and alleyways, burning down homes and businesses, even murdering city guards and members of the city council.
There have never been any signs of theft or arsine, nothing has ever been stolen or looted from the victims, even from those with full purses or an abundance of valuables.
The guards and innkeeper will both suggest that the newcomer speak to the Baron, if they wish to aid in the problem of course, since they are a mercenary.
This brave sell-sword will soon discover a sinister plot connived within a deep running conspiracy that threatens the entire city.
(NOTE: The Assassin order does in fact play into this story, even though the protagonist is in fact not an assassin.)
So then, there you have it, the three separate stories centered around this assassin themed Roleplay.
Hopefully one of these catches some fancy, as I am very eager to hop into any one of these.
By the way, please remember that there is more detail and information already prepared, from maps to currency to races and so forth. I did not include any of that in this thread so to keep from bogging it down and diverting attention from the primary setting. Do not worry, everything is ready and waiting, all you have to do is contact me if your interested and we can proceed forth with character creation and so forth.
