It's quite interesting to hear about how other people got here. All the different paths, the small events, that lead to them being here. One different choice, and we might have never met here.

Greeting to you all. NanoFreak here. I'm from Germany.
Let me tell you a story of how Nanofreak ended up here.
Nanofreak, in the beginning, was your average hardcore gamer. He played all kinds of games, from FPS to RTS, Racing games, even the sims at some point. But one day, while looking for something to fill the blank space that was his desktop, he, by complete chance, discovered a wallpaper of an anime character. The image had a certain something to it. It peeked his interest.
"Who is this person...?", Nanofreak wondered.
The name of the image happened to contain what seemed to be the characters name. Nanofreak dug deeper, delving into the world that he would later call.... ANIME!
But it didn't stop there, oh no. That moment, that random image he discovered by chance, set off a chain of events. That chain of events lead to an anime called RWBY. But before Nanofreak knew it, he whizzed through the two volumes in no time.
"NO ! This is not enough.... I must have more." he told himself.
Fan-fiction, an alien word. Unknowable at that time, yet soon after, it became his new home.
And now, the gates to a new world have been opened. Role-playing. Today marks the dawn of a new adventure.
I was aiming something shorter, but then this happened.
So I've been recently introduced to the grand world of RPing by a friend of mine, and that's how I ended up here.
As you've might have guessed, I'm fairly inexperienced at RPing (especially play-by-post ones) but the first time I took part in one (not play-by-post type, mind you, so this should make for an interesting experience) it felt surprisingly natural and easy to get into.
I've got a few themes that enjoy, which are not exclusive to RPing. These include, Sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, military, dystopian and cyber-punk settings. Maybe with a little bit of fantasy and supernatural mixed in-between.
So that's pretty much me, Nanofreak, in nutshell.
Guess I'll be seeing YOU *points finger at current reader* around, buddy.
