Sapphire was relieved at how well Joshua had taken it and even further so when he decided not punish them in any way. As they went outside and received the firebombs Sapphire took one out and inspected it closely. Promptly applications for them flashed through her mind, one of them she found rather amusing and chuckled mentally.
Pinning a firebomb between the two blades of her soon to be forged scythe and using it as a lacrosse stick could be both hilarious and effective at the same time.

As they headed to the restaurant Sapphire couldn't get out of her mind what Nickolaus had done. Admittedly their interactions so far had not been without their rough spots. There had been quite a few actually. That's why of all the people there it was Nickolaus she least expected to jump in and stick up for her.
As they walked Sapphire maneuvered around the rest of the group and continued walking next Nickolaus. "Thanks." she whispered to him, her gaze still fixed straight forward.

After arriving at the restaurant she set down at the table with the rest, afterwards pulling of her hood. It must have been an entire minute that Sapphire kept her head in constant motion as she took in the entirety of the restaurant.

Jesus, I can already tell this is going to turn into a clusterfuck. So not only do we have the main thing going, we'll have our own villains in pursuit of us. And considering that like @Rex is gonna run around with 3 of them.

I want this roleplay to be as interactive and awesome as possible for all participants, so yes. Not to mention that if they're sub-villains like you're suggesting that aren't played by me, you all won't have to wait around for me to post to progress the story--which would be easier for all of us and less stressful for me. Feel free to elaborate on this idea here in OOC so everybody is on the same page.

Another thing, since Rex suggested the idea of sub-villains, I'll raise the characters per player to five to allow for more characters.

You do realize it's actually gonna get harder, cause just like for our main chars you'll have to set up scene for the villains too. Or do they only show up when they interact with our main chars? We need to clarify how exactly we're gonna do this. Do we have full control of how the environment reacts to our sub villains?

I've said it before when first started this, when you didn't know what to do with the chars that weren't on that same original Akio team, and I'll say it again... this too doesn't sound all too well thought out now that I think of it.

Rin was still looking to the side observing the battle as she approached Seth. "Trust me, I plan all my routes thoroughly. I won't get lost so easily." she responded to Seth following it with a chuckle. As she continued to gaze upon the match still going she noted that Izu already had been previously burned when some of the fireballs hit him through the water wave, burning him even further. This is getting a bit out of hand, she thought.

Her chain of thought was quickly interrupted by Seth offering them soda. "Oh sweet!" Rin exclaimed in joy as she took one of the soda bottles. "This thirst had been killing me since we had our match." And with that she gulped down half a bottle of soda in one go before following up on Seth’s last joke. "Speaking of it." She then turned to Hitomi, "I should probably tell you about us. You already know Seth, our team knucklehead." She laughed out loud as she said that. "Nah, I'm kidding of course. He's got the smarts, he just doesn't want to use it. I honestly don't know much about the rest really so I'll let them introduce themselves when they're done. I’m kind of the third wheel in this team as my own team is split up doing various other missions. But now . . ." she took a step closer to Hitomi and let her left arm rest on her shoulders as she continued with a giggle. ". . . We can be the third wheel together!"

@Eklispe Nah, don't worry, I wasn't talking about you in particular or any moment in particular either. It's just that I often like to set up a scene for possible drama and/or cheesiness and usually nobody seems to pick up on that. Though in this case I made it really obvious too.

"Sounds like an interesting guy, your brother." Rin said to Hitomi. She then chuckled out of nowhere and for no reason apparently before clarifying. "The Uchiha is starting to copy the moves of the Kirigakure shinobi." She relayed to Hitomi as they were walking. She had her byakugan active the whole time and was obseriving the battle. They were almost at the the training ground. "My kekkei genkai gives me a three hundred and sixty degree vision through objects over the distance of several kilometers. Quite nifty, isn't it?" She paused for a moment in concentration before continuing. "Looks like Izu, the Mist Shinobi, realized it and backed off. Now he's using a slime ball. It's part of his kekkei genkai as far as I know." Rin continued to observe. Should've used the chain to grab the slime ball and then deflect the spikes with it, Rin thought as she considered the tactics she would have used against Izu. By the time Hayashi was using his Phoenix flower Jutsu, the training grounds and consequently the Jutsu too was visible to Hitomi too. "Well were here. As soon as these two are done I'll introduce you to everyone."

Lexx maintained a serious face but at the same time he was chuckling mentally. He had made up his mind at that point. He would find out what Ved's powers were, assess how useful he was, and once his usefulness expired, so would he. Too trusting and naïve. People accepting us? Yeah right. And even if that happens, it's only a matter of time until the government hunts us down. There won't be any . . .peace, Lexx's thought ending in disgust and contempt at the world in general. He refocused his thoughts on what Ved's abilities might be. And he had a pretty good idea too. The fact that he had been able to secure his connection to him so thoroughly and quickly back in Grayshire during their video conversation hadn't gone by him. Frankly, it was rather impressive. Lexx finished his train of thought and snapped back to reality.
He almost blurted out at Ved to wake up since he didn't believe his hopes could ever become reality and he knew he'd probably die in the process too, either by his own hand or other people who might oppose his . . . vision. And Lexx knew there would be many.
In the end he just questioned him further. "So how do you hope on accomplishing this 'human-mutant peace'?" And while doing so he also noticed smoke in the distance. He assumed a building was on fire and planned on checking it out once he was done here.

Despite being in such a tough spot throughout her life, having no parents, no home, despite all that she never resorted to stealing or other similar unprincipled or dishonest acts. Being accused of stealing angered her. By the time Joshua would turn around Sapphire would approach him with quick steps, as if she was dead set on striking him down where he stood. She stopped a few steps before Joshua. The situation was slightly amusing as Sapphire was of smaller stature then Joshua so to some extent it was hard to take seriously, though the way her frown stared from behind her hood into his eyes said otherwise. She had great respect for Joshua and therefore she maintained her composure. But inside she was boiling and it almost frightened her. She wasn't usually like this. Meaningless stuff like being accused of stealing never used to get to her. Sapphire didn't understand it and at the same time she could feel a light stinging pain on her abdomen.

"Here's the condensed version of the story. Yes a caravan was attacked. Yes we were there. And we risked our lives to save the person who was in that caravan from a bandit." She paused for a moment then turned around and looked at Nickolaus, particularly at the still visible wounds from the battle with Nawar. "And the person we saved decided to show her gratitude by gifting us a shipment of starmetal. And the rune Imgor aquired were on the bandit's blade."

Sapphire quickly turned around and looked at the ground as she realized something. Joshua was right to some extent. They had indeed stolen. She had stolen.

Had she? She did take the blade left behind by Nawar. By all accounts he was a bandit. So was it that bad? Still, Sapphire froze in place. She didn't know what to say or what to think.

@hagroden Y'know in my last post, Lexx was talking about Ved's organization he was trying to assemble since that was also what he asked during the vid stream conversation they had a day ago. Not the Organization that was responsible for the bombing.

Sweet! I think I'm gonna make an itachi-esque sub villain. And by that I mean just attitude wise. He'll be rotten to the core, not hidden good guy or anything. I just like my villains to have that cool composed attitude. If I give him some good tactics too it might just be Rin's nemesis. xD
