Maybe I'll add something about me here... someday...

But until then have some:

Landslide

Or maybe you'd prefer to become a criminal and drive it like you stole it?

And then, after you realize what horrible crimes you've done, you'd probably want to just get high and forget about things.

No?

Maybe you're a bit stressed out and insomnia has taken over. I'm certainly an insomniac, but not due to stress.

But fret not over crimes or stress or insomnia my friend, cause you shall gather the seven nation army and take over this forum!
Take the sky epxress to your throne, to make it yours to rule, more infamous than any Human alive.

Blind with power you'll become careless and indifferent of your eminent downfall. Desperate to hold on to that power, yet still a Dreamer, where others have failed, you are cunning.

And once the forums have been shook by your cymatics, down the road you make your escape to a place where the real stars are.

But remember, one day somebody might come back for you.

I didn't plan for this . . . it just happened. Still haven't written anything about myself in here... other than my music tastes.
Eh, maybe another day then.

Either way thanks for the visit!

Stargate Command, Earth

"Unscheduled off-world activation." The announcement could be heard throughout the base.
General Hammond, current commanding officer of stargate command was already in the stargate operations room, watching the gate room. The stargate was already active with the iris, the security measure preventing anything unauthorized from even reintegrating at the event horizon of the gate, closed.
"Receiving Tok'ra IDC." Sergeant Walters informed the general just as Jack O'Neil was coming down from the conference room.
"Open the iris." The general ordered and left the room heading for the gate room. Jack also followed.

A Tok'ra who they had yet to meet step through the gate.
"Welcome to Earth. I'm General Hammond."
"The high council of the Tok'ra sends its greetings." The Tok'ra agent also greeted them with a nod.
"How's Jacob. Why couldn't he come?" Jack budged in sounding a little disappointed at having to deal with the Tok'ra regulars.
"He is currently on an assignment." The Tok'ra provided vaguely. "We bring news of possible allies who might be of assistance in combating the Goa'uld."
General Hammond nodded. "If you would follow me, we can continue in the conference room."

A bright explosion lit the battlefield, marking the violent destruction of a pyramid ship. The combined assault of the Starlight Lance fighter craft and the second weapons barrage of the Adenn eventually overwhelmed their target, leading to a power core overload.

The second Ha'tak still bombarding the Starlight Lance was hit by another wave of torpedoes from the Liberator. This time blue flashes of light burst against the shields of the Ha'tak. At first they seemed to have no effect, yet as more and more ordnance bombarded the vessel, the shields flickered and then collapsed allowing a wave of torpedoes through.

All the while the bombardment from Anubis' flagship was starting to severely deplete the Liberator's capacitor to the point where the booster would be capable of running for two more cycles only. The distance the Liberator put between itself and the flagship was enough so that half the staff cannons shots missed, though that still left plenty of ones which did in fact hit the Liberator.

Abruptly the shields of the flagship collapsed.

"My lord, our shields have failed." The second prime informed his god.
"How!?" Came an enraged response.
"The shields seem to have been sabotaged just before someone was transported off our ship." The Jaffa explained.
"Bring them back online immediately." Anubis ordered.

"More ships are exiting hyperspace! They belong to Ba'al!" Another status report came as the second prime was frantically trying to raise the flagships shields once more.
"Destroyed them!" Anubis shouted angrily at his second prime.

A hyperspace window opened at some distance above Anubis' flagship and six more pyramid ships emerged in quick succession. They were barely out of hyperspace when they immediately opened fire on Anubis' flagship below them. A few shots struck the hull of the ship before a yellow wave engulfed the ship, the shields now blocking the shots once more. The heavy bombardment focused on the Liberator now shifted towards one of the newly arrived Ha'taks and quickly dropped its shields.

The Ha'tak which had engaged the USS Creed was now pursuing it to the edge of the combat zone. Due to previous damage received from the photon torpedo explosion, it wasn't able to keep with any of the Creed segments until they held position to re-combine. Just as the Ha'tak closed the distance between them and fired the staff cannons at the Creed, the latter suddenly accelerated and disappeared into the void, with only a distant flash of light left in its wake.

The Ha'tak currently engaged with the Endeavor finally lost it shields entirely. The Endeavor's onslaught was now slowly tearing the ship apart. Despite taking heavy damage the pyramid ship was not relenting, when out of a sudden the ship stopped firing and began to slow down.
On the Pel'tak both the Jaffa piloting the ship and the one in charge of weapons felt an overwhelming presence within their minds. They could even feel their Goa'uld symbiote squirming in their abdominal pouch, reacting to the foreign presence.
The Kuriotes was now also engaging the Ha'tak. Defenseless and now stationary, the hull began failing under the combined fire of the Endeavor and Kuriotes. Moments later another bright flash accompanied the destruction of another pyramid ship.

By now all three death glider squadrons had also been reduced to a handful of stragglers by the combined efforts of the ragtag fleet.

Meanwhile, the captain of the imperial shuttle captain was brought on-board the Ahel.
"The emperor, where is the emperor?" A half conscious captain Bonma asked the figures carrying him out of the shuttle.
The shuttle itself held few indications as to why the shuttle was the focus of the current battle.

Aboard the Creed the Tok'ra agent now stood in Captain Frye's office. Arms behind his back, he spoke in a deep voice signifying the symbiote was now talking. "I have already sent a message to the Tok'ra council. They will put you in contact with the Tau'ri. For now I would suggest remaining here."

It wasn't long before a ship appeared on the Creed's sensors making its way around the moon.

"This is colonel William Ronson of the United States Air Force Vessel Prometheus. Please identify and state your intentions."

The Tok'ra on board the Creed then offered an identification code he also sent to the Tok'ra which by now had to be known by the Tau'ri as well.
@Burning Kitty Ah you're right, sorry about that. Forgot about it mainly cause she dealt with Anubis and Tok'ra in general.

@Lmpkio You don't have to. I was just saying that the plot will advance today, so if you want to add something to the current situation do so now.

Now indeed, I haven't heard from her or did not receive a heads up in regards to her being away. Still, I do have a rough overview of plot plans, for the time being I'll go ahead and continue what she had planned until she's back.
Next major post will be today, those who haven't posted and wish to do so, now's your last chance.

@Burning Kitty As note for your latest post, please keep in mind that you are not free to decide what a NPC not of your creation does or does not. That's going into powergaming territory and even though we don't have a fancy ruleset like other RPs have, I believe some things should be common sense.
You can leave the current post as, but please keep what I said in mind for your future posts.
@RandomCerebrate Well the zerg overseer sounds like a character you can use as a crew. There's no real minimum to how many crew members you need to have. As long as you can make it work with the in-ship interaction with just one crew, you should be good.
Even if it's too short you can still post it here for now and edit it as you go. That way we can also offer feedback on what you could expand on if it's indeed too short.
@Sophrus Yeah I meant before that, I'll edit it to reflect that.
Three concentrated phaser beams lit up the underside shield of the Ha'tak vessel engaging the USS Creed segments. It took a few seconds but eventually the shields flickered and finally a portion of the shield collapsed under the combined and focused strain. The hull of the Ha'tak vessel began giving off a mild orange glow as the phasers we're heating up the hull while at the same time the point of impact bulged inwards slightly.

The assault was quickly followed by a photon torpedo yet just as it should have cleanly passed through and hit the hull of the pyramid ship its shield regained a portion of the integrity at the point of attack. The beams were suddenly being blocked again by the shield the same instant the photon torpedo also collided with the shield, engulfing a portion of the vessel in a sizable explosion.
As the explosion faded smaller detonations permeated on the under side portion of the Ha'tak, indicating that a large portion of the photon tropedo's blast had bled through the weakend shield.

Fighter squadrons sent by the Endeavor were amidst a fierce light show of orange and green blasts. During the initial approach the death gliders had managed to take down a number of V-Wings before the two squadrons merged and chaos erupted. Despite the superior firepower and defenses the Endeavors fighters had, in the frantic engagement some of the ARC-170s were also destroyed, yet before more losses mounted Starlight Lance fighter entered the fray and further cut down a large portion of the Goa'uld death gliders.

While the death gliders tasked with dealing with the Endeavor fighters were drawing near to being completely wiped, the Endeavor itself had returned fire at the Ha'tak. Turbolaser fire had been pelting the enemy ship for a while now and the shields began to flicker occasionally allowing some turbolaser blasts through it, however that shots that did make it through did not overly damage the hull.

The Starlight Lance's bow was now facing the two Ha'taks firing at it, the bow armor being even more proficient at dissipating the blasts.
The Adenn now entering combat too fired a turbolaser salvo at one of the pyramid ships just as Wave Two also fired a substantial barrage of plasma bolt and beam fire.
The combined attack quickly overwhelmed the Goa'uld shielding. Half the weapons fire struck the hull of the ship after the shield had collapsed completely. While individually each blast did insignificant damage, the high number of hits caused crippling damage. The orange plasma bolts fired by the Ha'tak were reduced to half in numbers as a large portion of the staff cannons either went offline or were outright destroyed. More secondary explosions due to overloading systems engulfed the ship its own debris and the motion of the ship also slowed signaling that it's sub-light engines were now offline as well.

The death glider wave which had the now missing shuttle as its objective were also still being decimated by The Forge's and Liberator's detachments while the Myth also began engaging them.
A portion of the still surviving death glider force focused fire on the Myth, and while most of the shots had been successfully dodged, enough of them made contact to severely weaken the Myth's shield.
Likewise the Forge's assault cruiser being a similarly bigger target had also attracted a large portion of the gilder's fire, enough to fully collapse its shields before it returned to the Forge. Damage however was still limited to the armor, while leaving the hull intact.
@Burning Kitty I'll have it up today.
Percyvallus Crowglide

Location - Terreille, Dhemlan Territory, Landen town of Ironmawr

What had been green, lush scenery now had the appearance closer to a wasteland than anything else. Dead trees, barely a few leaves still dearly clinging to the lifeless branches. Merely shrubbery still possessed a hint of life and volume. The influence of darkness spreading throughout the Dhemlan territory in Terreille clearly reflected by the barren lands.

The ghastly wind gave motion to the spiritless woodland only overshadowed by the sound of crunching leaves hidden among the woods.

"Show yourself." a voice called out in an echo, yet no response came and the unseen stir continued.

Percyvallus had spent the last twenty minutes luring one of the guards of Ironmawr out into the woods. The lacking of abundant greenery made it all the more difficult to remain unseen. Actually getting guards to follow him was also becoming an increasing nuisance. Intended to be a force against any outside threats, the defenders of Ironmawr, under the rule of Percyvallus' father turned their wrath towards the innards of the town.

"Over here!" Another voice came from the guard's back to which he froze mid step.
"Turn around. I'll let you." Percyvallus spoke to the guard in a smug tone. He stood with his sword drawn so close to the guard he would have had no issue ending him without the guard even feeling his presence right up until the cold sword would stick out from his chest. Still, he did not. He never did.

"Draw your sword." Percyvallus said in a commanding tone.

"I recognize you." The guard responded as he pulled out his blade from his sheath.

Percyvallus spun his weapons as he slowly began circling the man in front of him. "You people always do. Yet none of you have ever survived to tell my father I am here. Neither will you."
"We'll see about that!" The guard yelled as he raised his sword and swung at Percyvallus, starting a flurry of attacks. Each strike Percyvallus parried with ease, slowly backing away, toying with his foe. Percyvallus had done this too many times already, every time he returned home.
Another high stroke of the sword bore down on Percyvallus. Blade met blade and sparks flew as Percyvallus guided the sword of the guard into the ground with his own. The motion continued with a twirl of his body, straight into the man's leg. The guard collapsed to his knees grunting in pain. At that point, usually guard would try to bargain for their lives. Promises of silence or riches, whatever they could think of in their desperation.
In time Percyvallus however grew tired of it. This one was not even offered another chance to speak as Percyvallus drove his blade through the back of his neck. The now limp body slid of the sword and thumped to the ground.

Percyvallus was free to nonchalantly wander into town unchallenged. Or rather the opposite, he had lured the challenge right to him and dealt with it swiftly.

Ironmawr was in no better shape than the woods outside of it's walls. The people of Ironmawr had suffered under the oppressive rule of house Crowglide. The buildings were ravaged by time and practically no maintenance. Poverty and famine took their toll on everyone. His efforts to help the town had seemed to be in vain. Yet still the people remembered, what he had done for them.

As Percyvallus made his way towards the town tavern he failed to noticed the guard walk right past him, being careless now that he was back in his home town after such a long time. Some of that may have also been attributed to the increased number of hands his house had.

"Hey you." The guard called at him. Percyvallus merely increased his walking pace. "Come back!" The guard started following him. Just as he was gaining on him a woman carrying a half empty basket collided with him, sending both to the ground. The guard was the first back to his feet.

"Watch the where you're going! Do you have a death wish?!" The guard berated the woman desperately trying to collect the few foodstuffs now strewn across the ground.

"I'm sorry. It won't happen again." The woman spoke in a scared voice and continued gathering her items. Briefly glancing at Percyvallus the scared expression melted away, as if dropping a charade. He nodded in appreciation and continued on his way, realizing he could not afford to let his guard down like he did just now, lest pay for that mistake with the life of a friend. The guard didn't waste much time with the woman and attempted to continue in pursuit yet found that he had lost Percyvallus.

The door to the tavern creaked as if it had not been in use for a long time. Percyvallus made his way in and scanned the room. Other than a group of four people idly chatting at one of the tables and one person at the front counter, the tavern was deserted. It seemed poverty and famine took it's toll even in such a place. Many elected to drown out the hunger with ale, yet these were indeed troubling times if many could not afford even that ironically.

Percyvallus sat down at the front counter and was greeted by the man behind it with a nod of acknowledgement.

"The usual." Percyvallus said as he took a gander at the person next to him. An outsider, possibly a mercenary just like himself.

Without a word the man behind the counter turned around and shuffled around, retrieving a small glass and a dark bottle.

"Thanks." Percyvallus spoke as the glass was filled to the brim with a brownish liquid.

Percyvallus emptied the glass with one gulp and coughed weakly, not being used to the strong drink after not having had the chance to taste it for so long.

"Things are worse than they used to be. What happened?" Percyvallus asked the taverner but before he could the man next to him spoke up.

"Are you blind, or deaf, or both? The twisted influence of our queen is spreading across the land. As if the Crowglides weren't bad enough. Since the pledging of their allegiance to the queen it has come to be even worse. Look around you!" The other mercenary ranted, Percyvallus narrowing his eyes at the mention of the his family name.

"Perhaps I've been gone for too long..." Percyvallus spoke just before bringing a once more filled glass to his lips.
@Queen Raidne in your post you never did mention how the triple attack from Prometheus worked out. It occurred moments before Prometheus Alpha attacked Palpatine's shuttle. Unless I missed it.

@Burning Kitty I'll be handling the Pyramid ships so I'll get to that in the next post, don't you worry.

@Sophrus Actually I would have said the contrary is true. While their shields can defend against their own weapons fairly effectively, said weapons aren't too powerful either. More powerful energy based weaponry has been seen to quickly deplete Goa'uld shields.
However kinetic and explosives weapons have proven even less effective than Goa'uld staff cannons against shields.

Blasters on the other hand sound like they would tend more towards an 'energy' based weapon. So I would think that might be more effective than pure kinetic weapons.

The energy vs kinetic topic is currently being discussed so nothing set in stone just yet.
Well I mean, if that information was readily available, it would take away the fun of finding out on your own.
