The city would be a good spot for corrupt characters but you won't find much honourable characters. The Mountain, however, has the ability to have both and I'm big into the Eyrie in ASoIaF so Mountain for me!
@Roosan

Quite the contrary, I think, and that's down to a quote from Littlefinger himself - "When you know what a man wants you know who he is, and how to move him." You see, Sansa knows exactly what Littlefinger wants and that allows her to move him. He doesn't want to help her, he simply wants her. Previously, she was his pawn because she had no power to do anything. But now, Sansa is the rightful heir to the North (under the assumption that Bran isn't coming to take the seat) and she holds Winterfell. Littlefinger can't use her anymore but she can use him very easily. Granted, he controls the Knights of the Vale but they're not exactly going to turn on her and the Starks are in a good position to collect their strength again.

As to Ramsay's death, I thought it was an intelligent choice. Jon has displayed time and time again that he follows his father's teachings on 'the man who passes the sentence should swing the sword' but I think the most of him didn't want to give Ramsay an honourable death and I believe he would have killed him in the courtyard if he didn't realise that Sansa wanted to kill him. You have to remember that if they take Ramsay up onto a podium and execute him, that's free air-time. His death would be remembered and thus, he would be remembered. Plus, the man had just killed Jon's brother and raped his sister - an honourable end wasn't likely for Ramsay.

Maybe it could also be taken for an image that the Stark way in itself is dead? The Stark's have always been about honour and it was honour that got Ned Stark, Robb and Catelyn killed so honour is clearly defunct in this world.
@Roosan
I wouldn't agree! I don't actually watch the show all that much because I read the books but no Winds of Winter yet so I decided to give it a watch. And I must say, I did enjoy it. Episode 8 felt like a build-up episode, I will admit, but it did have some good points like Arya killing the Waif-u and Cersei choosing violence.

Episode 9 was on and off for me but for the most part, I enjoyed it, even if it wasn't particularly intelligent. Once again, Dany solved shit by burning things (she's starting to remind me of the Mad King) and although her scene was cliché, I did enjoy her interactions with Asha (not Yara >.> ). The battle was really cool, even if Rickon and Jon pissed me off. Personally, however, I liked it because it was the only time in the series where I liked Sansa. And it wasn't because she got vengeance but because she's starting to actually become a player in the game and you can see that everything that was done on her has made her cold and hard.
@MissCapnCrunch this shit better have a realy cool game of thrones intro song.

I was just about to comment that Witcher style magic would be great! Hot babes casting spells and shit (and maybe a hot Geralt here or there - different strokes for different folks). Yeah, this looks pretty good!

In regards to the scale of the world and the families in it, I would go for the minimal approach. As Buddha rightfully said, lack of interactions in RPs are like instant death for them. That's the tricky part with these types of RPs, you want to get everyone together to get a lot of interaction but having everyone together reduces the scale of the RP and the potential for devious plots.

If I were you (and this is just a thought, don't take much sense from it), I'd shape the RP into like a hybrid Nation RP with focuses on armies and states but also a focus on character interactions. Timing is a key issue as well - don't get locked down on a single day. Take from that as you wish, I'll just go and look pretty in the corner!
Sorry guys but I think I'm going to have to drop out! :c The character just isn't really working out how I want her to work out and I don't really know where to go so I'd rather just drop out now then leave you guys hanging! Anyways, it was lovely meeting you all and I'm sure we'll see each other again! C:
@lovely complex

Lovely! I think I have a bit of an idea for a collab - would you be interested?
@MiddleEarthRoze

Well because the two fit together very well! Foley, as you said, means "pirate" or sometimes "viking" while Murtagh actually means "skilled at the sea" or a good sailor! :P
@MiddleEarthRoze

Roze! Did you specifically choose Roran's middle and last name or did you just pick them randomly???
