It's all good. Sorry if it's a bother just trying to lend a hand. There is so much IC stuff going down out of the gate it's crazy.
Neither side won the war of 1812. It ended in a Status Quo I believe. Everything just returned to the way it was. Both side had their big victories and defeats and the war actually increased American nationalism by a large amount. Also Italy wouldn't be going to war with Venice if something did happen. The Kingdom of Venice is the area we wish returned which is currently under the control of the Austrian Empire.
While the Kingdom of Italy declares neutrality in the ongoing rebellion in the Americas, we feel as if the conflict is a domestic issue of the United States of America. The Americans should be left to settle their differences themselves and while a war is deplorable it is their decision to make without outside interference.
Furthermore, we assure the United Kingdom that we have been opening multiple diplomatic channels to the Austrian Empire in hopes of coming to a peaceful resolution. The Kingdom of Italy wishes for nothing but peace and prosperity between both of our respective nations.

Yeah even if the UK and France join in after the fighting starts they will probably have to face some kind of consequences.

I'm typing from my phone rofl. Didn't mean a war per say but odds are it'll end up that way. I don't imagine he'll take it lying down.

It's a bit of an exaggeration but you get the point. The first few fights haven't event happened yet which probably wouldn't take place too long after the start date. Just seems a bit soon.

I'm not so sure that Russia taking part of the west coast would be feasible. The cost of it would probably outweigh any benefit. That and they don't have a large Pacific fleet.
I don't understand the desire to drive the United States to be their enemy right out of the gate. Even if the South does win the US will most likely be much stronger in the end over the CSA and the US will just seek out to be friends with their enemies.
