On the map what is the Dark Grey area of land? Unclaimed tribe land?
I believe so. There are also some colored countries of basically tribals that were just more well known.

No, their vassalisation has been cancelled and they have been re-incorporated into the Empire. Thus, they are no longer semi-autonomous, but under direct control of the General Assembly in Constantinople (just waiting on Outcast's judgement on the matter, to see if I'll have to take military action or not)

It means the Ottoman Empire has just given you a big, wet kiss, your own credit card, a brain and has told you firmly and with absolute sincerity, that you are to us the best of friends and are free to do as you wish. You're no longer a vassal :P and you didn't have to pay me a penny...hmm...maybe I should've coaxed some money out of you now that I think about it. Oh well. Anyway, Romania, along with Serbia, are now no longer vassals of the Ottomans, that's what just happened.

You are right. However, the government, which will almost certainly win a revolution, will carry on as it did before the Mad Queen.

British army isn't having any of it, and neither is Parliament. Most senior officers are nobles, and the fact that Edward didn't consolidate but simply declared the Kingdom at an end. So instead, Parliament shall treat Edward's shocking pronouncement as an abdication and young Alfred shall be king. As he is too young, a regent will be appointed, probably a staunch conservative to restore order.

Oh I imagine once the stats are up we will see more of a consequence. I'm really eager to see how this rebellion thing is going to go down. Cannot just order the army in to subdue them really...
