Status: OpenHello. I'm Naru (Previously known as Miyato). I have a few things that interest me when it comes to roleplaying so you might just find something you enjoy but first things first:
Rules1) Be friendly. I want a partner who I
enjoy talking to and roleplaying with.
2) Be active.
3) Please tell me if you're going to leave. I understand personal life etc. but if you leave for more than two or so weeks without an explanation I'll just close the thread (if I am able to).
4) Absolutely no OOC talk in the IC. There are PM's and threads for that.
5) Speaking of PM's: I don't roleplay in them. Sorry.
7) Causal standards. Correct grammar. I don't mind typos. They happen.
8) I generally do MxM and if I do MxF I prefer to be the female.
Now onto the fun bit!

Plots
I had a picture in my head of just developing Severus' and Lily's relationship. We never get much in the books (or film) about them. Sure we have Severus' memory but that's not a lot and I think it would be very interesting to explore their friendship. I don't necessarily want to do romance for this, although there could be elements of Severus' obvious love for Lily, but more of an adventure. Maybe set in the summer holidays. Preferably when they're past their fourteenth or fifteenth birthday. If you have any ideas I'll be happy to listen.
A tri-wizard tournament with a twist. The four houses are competing in four challenges (I have a few ideas) set by each of the Head's of House. It could be that Draco and Luna are both in the tournament or only one of them. I suppose if Draco was in and Luna wasn't there could be an element of Luna using her Ravenclaw wits to help Draco in some tasks. Or if they were in together there could be something like Cedric and Harry. Luna helps Draco and he repays the favor. Same as above, if you want to develop this, please inform me of your ideas (:
Harry has beaten Voldemort. Everything is good. Well, not really. The Boy Who Lived falls into depression feeling it's his fault that so many died for him. Staying in the Black's house he refuses to go back to Hogwarts for their sixth year (the war happens in the fifth year instead). Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Luna (and a few others) however do return. Although the Dark Lord is gone the world still fears his followers taking over. Hermione, sensing the danger that is still looming, proposes starting Dumbledore's (Harry's this time) Army again to continue teaching students how to defend themselves if such a situation was to arise again. This could be because of a headmaster that didn't allow practical use of magic, or a defense teacher that just wasn't good enough, I'm not sure yet. Don't hesitate to change this if you wish. I'm open to all ideas.
I think it would be very, very, interesting to develop the character of Pansy. I don't really like the way she is portrayed in many fanfictions at all. In my eyes Pansy is a girl with quite a few problems and she hides them all by being slightly mean but not a nasty bitch like most fanfictions make her. She's a Pureblood Slytherin which also puts pressure on her along with being friends with Malfoy. But I consider her as really nice, deep inside, once you get to know her. I think it would be awesome to do a roleplay where I can create her as such. If you have any ideas of what plot this can include then please tell me! Also, I'll probably accept any pairing here apart from her and Blaise. I just can't imagine it. (Also, side note, have you seen how hot she is? I mean come on.)
Dance AcademyFor those of you that don't know what Dance Academy is it is basically a show on Nickelodeon about a ballet boarding school. It tracks the lives of a few teenagers that go there and in my opinion this is probably the most realistic and accurate TV show where teenage life is portrayed as it really is. It includes quite a few mature, and realistic, themes like: metal health, problems with the police, family issues, sexuality problems, arguments between friends, I don't know. To me it's really interesting and, as I said, not at all sugarcoated.
- "Tara Webster grew up in the dry Mallee region of north western Victoria, riding trail bike and horses. She is happiest dancing barefoot, ideally somewhere in the middle of a wheat paddock, and dreams of becoming a professional dancer. She is naive, sensitive, and completely unprepared for life at the ultra-competitive National Academy of Dance. She finds it hard to adjust to life in a city Boarding House, and has to overcome homesickness, brutal criticism, a spiteful roommate, and an endless stream of embarrassing moments. Tara is lucky enough to have been born with a body that's almost perfectly suited to ballet; however compared to the other dancers, she is far behind in her training. However, Tara got into the Academy because she has something that no dancer can learn - she puts her heart and soul into every pointe and pirouette. She dances from the heart. It takes her a long time to figure out that the teachers are pushing her so hard because they see her potential."
- "Abigail Elizabeth Armstrong is beautiful, charismatic, and talented... especially when it comes to manipulating the people around her. Abigail has always been the best student in her dance classes, and that's not a title she's going to give up easily. She's always willing to push her body to the limit. Ballet is the most important thing in Abigail's life. She'll do whatever it takes to stay ahead of the competition even if it means stepping on a few friends along the way, although sometimes her soft side shows through. She developed anorexia somewhere in Season One. She had an on/off antagonistic relationship with Tara until Sammy's death. Abigail is a talented and dedicated dancer, at least up until season three, but it is shown that her body type is not ideal for ballet and this causes her a lot of heartache."
- "Katrina "Kat" Karamakov isn't sure what she wants to do in the future but she does know there's more to life than dancing. If only her parents would realize it. Kat's dance talent is no surprise -- her mother is the National Ballet Company's principal ballerina, and her father is an acclaimed choreographer. Despite her family background, Kat finds ballet boring. It's tough having celebrity parents and in the dance world this is as A-List as it gets. Tired of traveling the world and lonely hotel rooms, Kat is pleased to find a home at the Academy. Just don't ask her to show it. Her mischievous attitude doesn't go over well with instructors, but her energy and laughter are infectious, and might be just what Tara needs to stay grounded."
- "Samuel "Sammy" Isador Lieberman is the kind of guy who's every girl's best friend but finds the other boys at the Academy much more difficult to talk to.
The eldest son in a conservative Jewish family, it's always been expected that Sammy will follow in his father's footsteps and go into medicine. Sammy broke his father's heart when he decided he wanted to be a dancer instead and he'd do almost anything to prove to his family that he made the right choice..
Sammy has a self-deprecating sense of humor, but deep down inside, he's a good guy who wants to do the right thing. He may not be the best dancer at the academy, but he is one of Tara and Kat's closest friends.
In the emotional last three episodes of season 2, on his way to the Prix de Fonteyn (Competition), Miss Raine gets the call that Samuel Lieberman was hit by a car while walking to the Prix de Fonteyn. He is pronounced dead on the way to the hospital. " Never.
- "Christian Reed is a student at the National Academy of Dance who was accepted under bail conditions." It doesn't say much on the Wiki but he's had relationships with Tara and Kat which showed his disastrous side. He basically kissed them and then fought with them until both of them had enough. Also, Sammy found he had a crush on Christian but he was scared of that thought and so he did everything to hide it. In the end he owned up to Christian about it but from then on their relationship was never the same.
- "Ethan Karamakov is Kat's older half-brother and one of the most popular guys at the Academy. He's cute, he's talented, he's an all-round nice guy — the Golden Boy of the Academy. He's someone that teachers want in their class and parents want their kids to be friends with. Ethan feels the same pressure as Kat to live up their famous parents, but he doesn't let it hold him back, and is confident that he will make his mark in the dance world as a choreographer one day. Tara believes that Ethan is the guy of her dreams even after Kat warns her about her brother's reputation for dating one girl after another." (Tara and Ethan end up dating but of course nothing good comes out of that. She's the one that ends up cheating on him.) Later on in the series, Abigail and Ethan start spending a lot of time together doing a performance together and he starts crushing on her but she refuses to acknowledge this because she insists that she prefers the company of more 'ambitious people'. Anyway, in the end they leave for Barcelona together so go figure o.e
- "Benjamin "Ben" Tickle is a first-year student at the Academy who gets moved up to second year and becomes friends with Christian and Sammy. Ben is portrayed as a very outgoing, goofy, happy-go-lucky guy, capable of cheering up anyone. He is also shown to be a caring and loyal Pas de Deux partner and friend to Tara, as Saskia continues to attack and sabotage her. He tells Kat that most girls don't like him because they say he's annoying. It was revealed in the middle of Season 2 that he had leukaemia as a child, but he is now in remision."
- "Grace Whitney is an Australian girl who has been studying at the Royal Ballet School in London for the last few years. As she looks around at the Academy one thing is patently clear if she’s going to stay in the colonies she’s going to need to shake things up. The moment Grace enters the studio everyone can see that the barre for excellence has been raised. Born with near perfect proportions for classical ballet she’s been training at the right schools from a very young age. Despite her talent though, she’s not a Betty Bunhead. Sure she’ll charm the teachers particularly her godmother Miss Raine who was an old friend of her mother’s but that’s just to make her life easier. Grace makes up stories so much it can be hard to tell what is true and what isn’t.
Grace’s mother died when she was eight. Grace’s father married another woman one month after his wife’s death. His wife tally now comes to four and Grace suspects he has an eye out for wife number five. Grace started dancing because her father found it amusing and he has always been proud to have a ballerina for a daughter. She dances not because of any great driving passion but because she’s very, very good at it. Grace enjoys both being good at things and being better than people who want it desperately. She’s clever with words but her real interest is in observing human behaviour what makes people tick how to read between the lines, how to figure out what secrets they’re keeping and their deepest darkest fears. Bored easily Grace knows the only way to keep herself truly stimulated is by playing mind games with people."
- "Saskia Duncan is a principal dancer at the National Ballet Company. In Season 2, she posed as a major antagonist to Tara while teaching repertoire classes at the Academy, not being able to dance anymore because she went into rehab after injuring her ankle at a Firebird performance. She sees Tara as a threat to her position and title as "youngest principal dancer ever" with the Company and therefore gives Tara a hard time, going as far as breaking Tara's back during a tutoring lesson with Ben as witness. Even though Tara asks her on numerous occasions, even in front of Miss Raine, to make an apology, Saskia refuses and leaves the Academy before she can be expelled."
- "Lucinda Raine is the headmaster (originally teacher) at the National Academy of Dance. She was promoted to headmaster after Mr. Kennedy. She is very strict and is shown to have favorites and people who she picks on during class."

Best friends ever since they can remember. They start the same high school together but as the year progresses [YC] ends up mixing with the wrong crowd and things go downhill. He starts bullying, picking on younger kids, even some older ones, skipping school, getting into trouble with the police, and at one point his 'friends' force him to turn on his best friend. Even though all of this is happening at school the two best friends still hang around together after school and before and they both pretend nothing is happening and their friendship enters a really awkward state. [MC] is never brave enough to confront his best friend but one day when he hears that he gets into serious trouble [MC] ends up confronting [YC] upon which [YC] threatens [MC] with (anything from a kiss between the two to an embarrassing situation). Reminded of this moment [MC] becomes aware that he cares so much about his best friend because that maybe he feels a bit more than just friendship. Even though their friendship is destructive [MC] doesn't want to give up. at a point they could start dating but the relationship would be abusive. I don't mean very violent but maybe emotional abuse, or some slight arguments which end up in a black eye or something? Not sure.
