Roleplaying involves a commitment to others. And if you cannot keep that commitment I'd ask you to be honest with youself and just say so. It's by far the least painful way of leaving an rp.

@The Kid Lanternbeen kind of busy with other things. and the lack of a clear thing to work off of makes it hard to post for this.
As if defiant to the words of the kommando, a wave of shotgun fire tore through the orks ranks just as they stood up to charge. A rain of ripper blasts stops the charging orc in its tracks, blasting it to the ground with the audible crack of ribs shattering and internal organs popping open like ripe fruit. A shoota running besides the nob suffers the same fate, also being blasted to the ground into a wretched heap. The final shot chinks of a third orc's upper arm.

The commisar's barrage of bolter fires too wreaks havoc in the orkish ranks. The same ork that had survived the barrage of ripper shotgun blasts was hit in the leg by a bolter shell. The xenos falls to the ground as its legbone, obviously broken, stabds itself through its leg. This chance is all the commisar needs. Finishing the ork of with two more bolters shells to chest. Turning the entire upper body of the ork in something best described as a quivering mass of oozing flesh. the last bolt exploded against the shoulder of the ork flamer, dealing a rather pitiable amount of damage to the greenskin.

Then, a lot of things happened all at once. Two ork shoots, realizing they had been spotted, moved up from cover and opened fire. Shooting wildly in front of them. Most of the bullets uselessly impacted the trenches fortifications, but four of them found their way into the ogryn. Then, the powers of the warp betrayed the group, and the psyker was assailed by a backlash from the other side. The bullet holes in the stone fortifications began oozing blood, while the ogryn simply shrugged the bullets off like dandruff.

(tl;dr. nob, one slugga and one shoota down. two shootas fired, psyker's perils manifested)
@Natsucooldude I didn't realize that everyone was in the city

... what?
Name: Doctor Jethro Lowe
Affiliation: Neutral with rebel-leaning sympathies.
Appearance: Jethro is a middle-aged caucasian man usually dressed in casual wear. He is forced to carry a badge of identification visibly on him at all times and usually pins it to his chest. He is of a rather fragile lanky build, standing at 1 meter 74 and weighing in at 73 Kilograms.

Bio: Jethro has always been a rather empathic individual, so studying medicine came natural to him. He passed his tests to become a pokemon veterinarian with flying colors and joined into the vast bureaucracy of the country's pokemon healthcare system... He didn't last long.

His work there didn't feel like a doctor helping living creatures. Never could he properly follow up on his patients, working on them just long enough to patch them up from overexertion or mistreatment. He didn't feel like a doctor... He felt like a mechanic keeping expendable machinery in working order.

Still though, what options did he have? If not for him, then the regime's pokemon would only suffer more... The option of covert resistance remained. Association with underground resistance-figthers and radicals. Helping to spread the hope of a better day as best he could. Once already, he came dangerously close to being found out. A routine inspection turned up a single errant flyer... It got him a stay in the correctional facility and a revocation of his pokeball license.

Pokemon: A porygon he named A.C. (Assistant-Companion)

Pokemon bio: An early prototype of artificial pokemon creation. Jethro was assigned as handler of the porygon for his continued hard work. The pokemon's mechanical demeanour disturbed the veterinarian at first, but before long, the pokemon had become indispensible to Jethro. Both as a companion and as a helper. Now though, Jethro worries the pokemon wil be taken away when he so much as sneezes the wrong way.

have my land claim right here. And yes, a Chatzy might be good.
<Snipped quote by Dead Cruiser>We have nearly 30 potential players. I'd rather not have one player getting a large chunk of land at the expense of others.
Besides wouldn't it be more fun if 5-6 player are competing on those islands?
At best we can say that players wishing to play as bug people are far more welcome to claim territory there.

actually, the political structure I'llbe going for would conduct itself well to some member states of my nation acting in their own interests. (I.E. another player). So there's some room for intrigue within as well.

Inb4 insectpeople sengoku
So, no GM opposition? Alright, I'll get my flagmaking friend on the case.
Can i claim a chunk of that black island in the northwest corner? On phone right now, but wanted that little bit for DA ORKS.

Edit: worked out a rough nation idea. Anyone have objections against an alliance of traditional "monster" races such as orks, kobolds, goblins, etc.

Edit2: I see willy has orcs he wants to play as well. I'll send you a rough draft we can collaborate on somewhere today.
@DarthSeverus394 So... am I approved?
