Current Sick of joining roleplays only to have them die. I hate investing my time and energy into something for nothing. Seriously making me want to give up on roleplayer guild.

Oz watched as the group poured more emotional outburst on the table. Poor table didn't ask to be in the middle super-powerful ragers. Oz ever the voice of reason thought of a way to delay any further murder from the Order, including Milena. Finally he voiced it when the shouting and emotions were vented. Maybe - just maybe there's a way to preserve Milena's life without endangering our mission. This Ada seems disturbingly playful. Perhaps we can ploy that to our advantage and make a game or an offer to keep her occupied until we're ready. 'Tis better than doing nothing because I have no doubt that she's going to continue her little game of kidnapping. I wonder what we could do to draw her attention off of Milena and Jenso?" Oz pondered.

Oz rubbed at his chin in deep thought. "To try and trick her into something would cost us time and be dangerous to boot. I won't leave that under my consideration alone."
Oz stopped Jenso in his tracks by placing a firm hand on his shoulder. "You know as well as I that such an act will change nothing." Oz's own voice was choked up a little but he maintained his composure. He turned to face the rest. "This is not going to be the first time we'll see this. The Order likes to try and break their foes before the fight ever comes. They excel at intimidation. We must resist their advances and take this time to strengthen our resolve and our power. We should increase men on watch until the destined day." He turned back to Jenso showing a deep sadness in his eyes for the briefest of moments. "Are you going to let them break you too?"
"I agree with Geode here. Seeing the future will do us no good unless we have a very specific and helpful threshold to work with. If the sword drove Vale mad then we should have nothing to do with it. It is clearly not an artifact that will help us at present." Oz resolved. Vale's sword had done nothing but harm in the past, even if it had been part of Geode's initial downfall it was that very downfall that seemed to drive him from the thought of trusting people to begin with.

What Jenso said of Nexus was very interesting and one of the most attractive ideas that Oz had heard of in a long time. A state of mind effecting the capacity, output and flow of ki. That was something he wouldn't mind spending some time trying to capture. Other than that he felt his time would best be served helping Luke and the others devise combat strategies involving teams and cooperative attacks. "I like that idea Jenso, you'll have to describe more to me after the meeting. Otherwise, Luke was it? You can count me in on the cooperative training exercises. I feel I have a great deal to offer and gain from in group-based tactics."
Actually... I think I will sit on the fence for a while. Don't want to slow you down and I'm invested in something else right now. Apologies.
Oz spoke up first. "I have a way to counter Zelriane's favorite form of attack but it comes with its own costs. I can teach it as well as help others to train using my power over the short amount of time we have." He raised his hand to his chin and thought about it a little harder. "My first few encounters with Zel have taught me some important things and I have sinced worked my ass off to find ways to overcome them. Zelriane cannot be dodged, he's too fast so you need to be able to counter this before anything else so that he doesn't simply weave through us and inflict his brand of poison before we've even started the real fight. Repulsing his ki will cost some of your own, it's essentially a flush and can be exhausting but it's going to matter when it counts."
Alright, writing up an ogre named Marvin. I've got to do something before I finish though. I'll have it up later.
@HeySeuss I only just realized that all of the avatars I've seen you use are dancing gifs. Classy.
Oz looked down at the remainder of breakfast scattered on the floor and frowned. "And.. I wasn't done eating."
Oz beamed up at that and soothed the megalomaniacal statue. "Oh come now. Look on the bright side, you still have your awesome galactic eyes. I've never seen anyone with something like that!"
Looks like now you need an ogre repo-man or a magic con artist. I know last time I used a human hunter with very little connections and everyone hated him, heheh.
