Current Sick of joining roleplays only to have them die. I hate investing my time and energy into something for nothing. Seriously making me want to give up on roleplayer guild.

With a nod, Oz acknowledged Alvios' plan. There was little time for talk but closing the gap would even their strengths at the least. The building anomaly in the sky was threatening. If it proved as bad as he was assuming he'd have to deal with it before it gave this assassin too much of an advantage. That would unfortunately leave Alvios to fend for himself for a moment under that circumstance.

The shot arcing with electrical energy zipping down at Oz made him think twice. Sure he could try to block it like he did with most things but an attack charged with lightning was a finicky thing. That kind of energy moved on a molecular level so he had no idea how it would interact with his shield. It was best to avoid it and save testing that idea for a day where getting fried wouldn't guarantee death.

Oz shifted his arms into an awkward stance as he ran. The split arrow was quick and difficult for him to dodge so he did the next best thing. He swung the flat of his palm against the air beside him. A wave of force mimicking his action hit him from the opposite side and sent him into a controlled tumble out of the shaft's way. He quickly rolled back to his feet and jumped into the air. Oz lifted his hands in mid-air, conjuring another wave of force below him to sail up to the archer on his perch in one quick action. Finally he flung his arms into the air and used that same projecting force to drive himself into the roof, feet first, where their enemy stood in an attempt to stomp him against it.
Oz raised his forearm against his attacker. A shield of shimmering energy flashed around his arm, deflecting the energy arrow at an angle into a building to his side. In a flash the wall collapsed and it would appear the arrow pierced more than one before stopping. Oz looked at it and grimaced. "Whoops?" He quipped. Jeff would likely be pissed if they wrecked the guild before this conflict was over. He shrugged at the thought. Better the guild than the world.

This enemy seemed specialized for range. After all, he had a freaking bow. That meant he might suffer at close combat. Only one way to find out. Oz rushed forward, keeping wary of when their enemy might charge another attack. Alvios was sending his own attack so this was a good opportunity to close distance. His focus was on advancing and watching for the next movement of the archer.
Oz passed Alvios a grunt and a nod. "I'll get his attention and keep him off of you. This doesn't seem like one of the Order I've heard of so be careful." It was likely one of Ada's thralls but that meant they wouldn't know just what he could do. Oz flipped the rod in his right hand. It flashed with violet light as it grew and stretched, taking on the classic form of one of his force spears.

He didn't so much as try to aim than he drilled the projectile at the opposing side of the courtyard, toward the building with the adversary in question. Following up his spear he himself dove through the opening and glided to the courtyard below.
"Right." Oz agreed. He took his staff in both hands and snapped it against his knee. The loud crack reverberated through the room. Now in either hand he held shorter rods of energy. The violet glow intensified from within them as he prepared to strike Shaidra.

Ada just had to appear now. The worst thing to do was listen to her, give her any room at all. No words, Oz jolted toward her and swung both rods in a cross pattern. "We are long since beyond chatting."
Any member of the Order was dangerous. Before now Oz had only seen Shaidra at the citadel. She had some inherent power to move things but if she had any real fighting power it wasn't a known value. "Alvios, you okay?" He checked. To keep things on the safe side he extended a hand and his staff thrummed to life in his grip. This may have been close quarters but he had plenty of tricks to make up for that. At that moment he needed to know that Alvios wouldn't be a hostage.
There was an overwhelming chance that Geode would do something fishy during this. Something along the lines of possession... Still, this was an opportunity for growth from a being that knew what he was talking about. Oz would do it but he would be careful. He allowed the thought to roll through his head for a moment before making the final choice. "Let's do it then, Training Wheels." He smiled at the term.

Geode had made it quite clear what he would do with a new body. This could be dangerous to let him so close to Oswald's own source of power but the risks would pay off if he could directly counter some of the strongest abilities of the Order. This opportunity could be instrumental is saving the world.
Oswald passed Geode a curt nod in encouragement. "Don't hold out on me now. We both know how little time we have left. Tell me, then we can decide whether we should be reluctant."
Oz quietly absorbed the info, thinking through the many encounters he'd had the past few months and settling on the very first. "Perhaps it was when my power first manifested. Zelriane attacked my home and I resisted him to the best of my ability. He used his power against me. Maybe it acted like a sort of inoculation. He clearly wasn't trying to kill me. He seemed bored and found me amusing." He contemplated. It hit him then, the full breadth of what Geode just said. "Wait, did you just say I can harness void energy? Would I even want to?" Oz queried.
"So our group uses natural sources. Our level of power might occur rarely in nature but it's drawn us together here." Oz nodded in confirmation. "How did the Order fuse void energy with anything if it is so hostile to every other source of energy? Aside from that, if my source isn't ki, at least not anymore.. then what is it?" He pursued the question.
Oswald had heard mention of his unusual energy before but no one had brought it into detail. "I've been told I have unique ki. This, however, is the first time someone has claimed it as not being ki at all. I don't get how that's even possible." He drew his attention to the board, listening closely. "Hopefully I will in a moment. Keep going." He urged.
