Haley saw some sort of powerful mechanical creatures, it was far superior to anything her nation or any nation in the Iron Kingdom had produced. If she could get one, it would turn the tide of war. She didn't need to get close to take control of one, she just needed to send in Lancer and she could send the spell through his Arc Node. As her Lancer got close enough she cast the spell and took over one of the marauders and got it to come towards her position. She tried to make it look like it was trying to get a better field of fire and thus didn't order it to fire on the other marauders.
