Hello everyone. I'm new to this site and kind of getting back into RP after a long absence. Lately I've been pretty big into Marvel stuff thanks to this summer's Secret Wars event. I've always been interested in concepts like parallel universes, worlds colliding, characters meeting their alternate selves, that sort of thing. I've been in talks on another site for starting up an RP based on the concept but that one veered off in a different direction and isn't exploring some of those concepts so that kind of inspired me to ask around here.
I think it's a setting very ripe with potential for a group RP, especially if we allow multiples of the same character and go wild with the different AU versions of characters, realms of Battleworld, etc. The only thing is I have not really done a group RP in years due to personal issues, much less run one. Is there anyone on this site that's interested in the concept and would like to help me coordinate and organize an RP like this?
We can play around with the concept and make something new out of it, too. We don't necessarily have to stick to the incursions leading up to it, God Doom, that sort of thing. I'd love to allow both established alternate universe versions of characters and new takes on them. As much as I love OCs I think I'd kind of prefer if this RP stayed canon characters only but that's something we can definitely discuss. If we do stay canon characters only there's always room for flexibility in terms of making up a new AU version of an existing character, though. Also if anyone out there is interested in playing the Maker I'd looove to play a heroic Reed to go against him heyyy
