"Begging your pardon, but they're not all like that. Some are just more scared and less trusting than others." Evelyn spoke softly. "I don't blame them being scared, after all grandmother is dead because of me..." She added with a painful remark. "Could we go, I just...I'm afraid the rain isn't going to stop for the next few hours and I would like to get dry."
Name: Evelyn Deverry
Date of birth: Unknown, since her parents left her with her grandmother. They guess that she is 19, but they could be off one or two years.
Vampire/human/werewolf: Human
Witch/wizard: Witch; and an extraordinary one at that. Great knowledge that was not allowed to be practiced out of fear for discovery and because she and others cannot control the raw power that flows through her veins.
Gene: With a Norse grandmother who had moved to England, her knowledge consists out of healing, herbs and reading the signs, whether they were bone, rune, stone or sky.
Novice: Yes in practice. Her mind is filled with spells, remembered by heart, because she was forbidden to speak them.
Profession: She used to help her grandmother with her job, she performed services as a midwife, healer.
Language(s): Evelyn speaks English, being born there, she knows some Norse from her granny, but with the elderly lady gone, she hardly has any use for it.
Additional information (optional):
Evelyn’s story is not a happy one, though she spent her childhood with her grandmother, she never discovered what had happened to her parents. But it seemed that her curse had something to do with it. Born with an unusual amount of raw power, she became attractive to all magical creatures, for if they were to kill her and eat her heart they would obtain that same power.
For her own safety her grandmother bound it first by marked spells, but when those faded a more permanent solution was required. She blinded her granddaughter a binding spell that was powerful and required great sacrifice of both the victim as well as the one who cast it.
As long as the bindings are still working any attempt at magic from her will result in severe pain. Before her grandmother cast the spell she notified the Sancti Lumis, in the hope that they would be able to keep her granddaughter safe.

"They're here..." The girl whispered making the two men in the carriage look up before stepping out and taking their charge towards the two men who were standing nearby.
"So good of you to come, well here she is. This is the woman we discussed, as you can see from the spellmarks she was blinded by her grandmother. May the Lord have mercy on her soul..." The priest said maintaining his distance of the two as he gently nudged the girl forward.
The other man spoke. "You know we would rather not place her in your care, but seeing as the things that are hunting her grow beyond even our society's power to withstand we thought it better that a monster should take care of a monster."
"Lord Fremont! Please!" The priest looked shocked at his associate.
"It's the truth, the girl is no normal witch, we can manage those...this...'girl' is targeted by every demon, monster and bloody spector in the country if not the world. SO there is no denying. The girl is an abnormality." At this Fremont eyed the vampire and the werewolf.
"Let's hope you'll be able to keep her safe. If the NightKing gets her we're all fucked, remember that and...good luck." With those final words he dragged priest along with him back to the carriage leaving the girl standing in front of them.

"I am Sophia, Sophia Devery, I'm happy to make your aquaintance Count Dracula, Mister Bane." She made a weak attempt at manners, making a half drenched courtesy.
It'll be a little late for dinner where I am ;), but take your time.
7/10 Decent, but I've heard better though there's no denying the guitarplayer brilliant.

well this does sound interesting but why not use a bit of the Pandora's box idea to it?
Maybe their true powers are locked away or maybe they are fighting over that one thing, like for instance inheriting the throne for example.
(Sorry if I'm butting in.)
Dreary the weather had been for a while, but today of all days it seemed as if the heavens just poured all the content they had gathered over the normally fog filled city. Westminster Abbey stood proudly withstanding the nasty weather, in front of it stood a rental carriage waiting. On the back stood one of the many well armed men of the Sancti Lumis, the safekeepers of London when all things that go bump in the night come out to play. The carriage itself was painted black with a simple silver coated S and L painted upon its sides. There were three people inside the carriage. Two males and one female. One man dressed up in what could be described as clothing worthy of a gentleman, the other was wearing the robes of a priest, whilst the woman whom they were keeping company was dressed in a demure fashion.
"Fremont, you did give them the right address didn't you?" The priest pressured looking upon his pocketwatch in an anxious manner.
"Trust me they will be here sooner then you would you like them to be." The gentleman said frowning as he touched the ends of his moustache.
The girl kept silent through it all, she knew it was better to not trouble them any further. She had already caused more than enough problems for them. She wondered what Londen would look like since her grandmother had taken away her sight, but since she couldn't see, she could only imagine and try to imagine rain drops clinging onto anything they could get to. Soon she would be taken away.
She knew why, she after all was the one whom suggested leaving England for a while. But now, now that that time was almost upon her she began to doubt and became uncertain, uncertain about it all.
Was it the wisest decision to leave? After all she would have to adapt to completly different surroundings 'again' and this time she would have to do it blind. She just hoped that the one's who would be taking care of her, weren't too disappointed when they saw her.
Well it is basically doubling the roles, both of us have a character and a storyline to follow while the other plays its guide(s) and the King of Nightmares. But if that's too much and you only want to play the victim that's fine too, I meant the double story more of a balancing of freedom. But if someone where to prefer to have just one role then I'm fine with that too.
I'm in.
To make it fair we both set up a character and name the greatest fears that character has. We both play the King of Nightmares for the other to keep it interesting. So the deviding roles at a minimum would be:

Victim: You
I'll play the Nightmare King then and your guide(s)/protector(s) and it will work the same the other way round.
Victim: Me
You'll play the Nightmare King and my guide(s)/protector(s) while working with the top 3 fears we've listed for our characters.

Seeing as the dreamworld is a mix of thoughts you control and can't control it leaves us both with the opportunity to add bits and pieces to the world.

Hopefully I explained it clearly enough.
